What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Asana for many years now and I rely on it to be a second brain and to keep me on track with my work and goals. I'm impressed with how it can grow with me as my business needs become more demanding. The design and user experience is lovely and it's a piece of software I genuinely enjoy spending time in. The functionlity is extremely well thought out and I'm enjoy discovering different ways it can make my life and work easier and more efficient. I've tried some other organisational softwares but non have felt as easy, intuitive, helpful for my needs or as enjoyable to use as Asana. Plus the extra celebrations always make me smile :).
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly I can't really think of anything I don't like...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me reduce the load on my brain as I don't have to remember a million things big and small, I just add everything into Asana desktop or mobile and organise my tasks.

It keeps me on track each day as I can prioritise what's most important for me to complete as well as planning for the week, month and year ahead.

It's incredibly flexible. I can keep track of my business and personal tasks and projects in one place without anything getting mixed up.

The different view layouts and filter options allow me to see what's most important first in a format that works for my brain for that particular project.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana's been a game-changer for our business! It keeps us on track, boosts productivity and makes teamwork a breeze - we can't imagine working without it
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana's multiple assignee feature is a letdown - it's confusing, leads to duplicated efforts and lacks clear accountability. A major flaw in an otherwise solid tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana bridges the distance between our remote team members, enabling seamless collaboration and productivity. It's the perfect solution for teams spread across different locations!

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can cater your project plans to the size of the project as well as the numerous templates to help get you started!
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to create work arounds for some pretty standard Project Management functions, such as RAID logs, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Goal tracking! It's incredible to map projects to personal and company goals. It takes accountability for our goals to a whole new level!

The ability to comment on tasks and attach files keeps all relevant information in one place.

Advanced features and larger teams require a premium subscription which can be costly.

1) the issues with rules (aka automations) running on separate projects, and 2) suggestions for improvement were slow (2+ years) to be developed.

What do you like best about the product?
The training resources and ease of use in learning how to build workflows. The customer support with regard to training resources is unmatched in my experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything I would say I dislike at the moment.

What do you like best about the product?
Custom fields (paid version) are helpful to tailor for customized projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
In Asana, each task can only be assigned to a single person. This makes sense most of the time, but sometimes a multi-assignee feature might be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can use Asana to calculate the time of each task for workload optimizaiton.

Disturbing Business Practices

What do you like best about the product?
Their Customer Support reponds within 24 hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was an Asana User for 3 years utilizing about 20 seats. We recently switched to HubSpot beacuase it met our particular use case. I kept Asana, but reduced the number of seats for about 6 months. When I finally went to cancel my account, I erroneously upgraded instead of cancelled. I instantly contacted customer support and explained the error. They refused to refund the erroneous charge (it had been only 24 hours).

From Asana:
I understand how important this matter is to you. However, as per our subscriber agreement, our team has confirmed that we are currently unable to process your refund request. For more details, please review our subscriber agreement for information on our refund policy.

I realize this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, but I am here to assist you in any other way possible. If you have any other concerns or questions, please let me know, and I'll do my best to help.

Mind you - this was over a $32.90 charge. It will not impact my business of course, but after 3 years and thousands of dollars in subscription fees - Iwould exepct their customer service team to do better. Values matter in 2024, and unfortnately I got a bitter taste of Asana's values.
