Asana is Still Awesome
What do you like best about the product?
The workflows have gotten much better and allow for more collaboration on our work teams. They allow for better management of tasks ans activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing would be to continue to improve and add ease of use features to the app and browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as our core project management software for the thousands of projects we work on for our clients.
Asana has eliminated so many calls/texts/emails in my workflow
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to assign a task to someone else without having to notify them via another source.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are SO many features that sometimes it's hard to tell if you're using it to the best of it's abilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With integration, everything is in one place and the whole team is on the same page.

What do you like best about the product?
My team and I just integrated this year with Asana. I cannot tell you how much it has helped our workflow, ignited a new motivation and keep us enaged more as a remote team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! It is intuative, easy to use and I love their featured templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a fully remote team, Asana helps us stay connected, manage work flows and has increased motiovation/productivity.

it is all in one place avoiding duplication of tools and tasks
Asana - Early impresions very favorable
What do you like best about the product?
While I am early in my adoption of Asana and therefore have not yet gained a comprehensive understanding of the application, what I have learned is very impressive. Really like the task managment capabilities. Setting up projects seems very straightforward and intuitive. Use it every day now for organizing and tracking my tasks. Customer support and training seems top notch also.
What do you dislike about the product?
Without the training Asana is an app with a pretty steep learning curve. But, I am increasingly coming to realize the benefits of Asana are going to be well worth the effort.

Gathering all my project information and task information in one place where I can have an integrated, single source of truth about my work.

Replace the endless to do lists with functional tasks that help you acheive the project step by step.

Not everyone in my organization uses Asana.

Replaces individual to do lists with shared dashboard to check on project progress.
Building cross functional workflows
What do you like best about the product?
Creating rules to move tasks once completed, keeping track of tasks for projects, being able to set deadlines, and assigning a task to someone.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be complicated to setup projects and how they work with workflows. Once you get the hang of it, it's much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to keep my projects and tasks organized and setting timelines helps to make sure work is completed on time and within budget.
It is like a checklist but requires manual work to give everyone a brief.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easily customizable, so you can add new tasks as you go. The free-form brief allows me to use any format I need to for the deliverable. We use it all the time but I believe we're moving across to Monday.com soon.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't allow for a more streamlined project management. It requires a lot of manual management in terms of briefing in SMEs. It really should have an automation to just copy the main part of the brief across all tasks so that the account managers don't need to manually add the briefs.
The integration of Asana to Google Suite is quite limited. I can't really find existing tasks to add a new task.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows us to document tasks rather than keeping them in our emails. It also allows us to adjust our workload and deadlines accordingly, so we don't feel too overwhelmed or restricted. It has also recently included AI in making briefs recently, and I can see how it can help account managers provide better briefs.

Managing tasks are more easier by using this application. I can easily track, follow up, priortize & allocate tasks.

When I click completed button for any tasks, it becomes disappeared from the task list.

This application helps me to manage task on time & priortize the task as per deadline.
Clarifying and organizing your actionable tasks
What do you like best about the product?
From mapping out massive year-long projects to organizing and clarifying my daily tasks, Asana is a huge help. I also value their forms feature. This helps me orgnize requests as they come in; nothing gets lost.
Their training acadamy was very helpful, more so then the set up calls. And It was easy to find support when I needed it.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they would offer API for business members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Per the client, we have 231 different projects and tasks that have to be done for them every year on top of the daily fires that arise and need our team's attention. Asana helps us standardize them across all our teams so that our client's needs never fall through the cracks. It also helps our management with a bird's eye view of what's going on, where we are on those projects, and what team members have to much on their plate.
