An excellent, all-encompassing, user-friendly project management system
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has exactly the level of sophistication and simplicity to make project management most effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind about Asana that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps organize our agency's workflow, deadlines and tasks while showing each team member's utilization.
Asana for life!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is the most streamlined project/task management platform I've used, and I've used several. I personally appreciate the unicorn or yeti that flies across the screen as more tasks are accomplished!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have tried to think about something I dislike about Asana, and I've come up short. No dislikes here!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the issues of not personally pestering other people and just sends reminders for me to those that I'm waiting on. I love how it integrates with Google so I can easily assign tasks as emails come in.
Asana is a game changer!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has made project and task management a breeze for my team and I. Before Asana, we were in a bad habit of creating spreadsheet after spreadsheet, losing valuable data along the way. With Asana, I'm able to help keep myself and my team on track with higher arching goals while staying in the nitty-gritty of daily goals. I love the status updates and reports available to showcase progress over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any particular dislikes, Asana does project management right. I would say that there is a learning curve to use Asana is the most efficient way, however. It takes a bit of trying things out and testing what works, but that's how anything goes!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping my team and I to work towards larger goals with steadiness and consistency. It's easy to see the bigger picture/goals ahead and to break them up into smaller, achievable tasks to make real progress. Delegating tasks has been huge for me as a leader, as Asana allows me to create tasks and sub-tasks and assign them appropriately to help my team succeed.
Great for very detailed and projects that follow the same steps over and over
What do you like best about the product?
You can automate many things and constantly be updated on what step of a project you are on. Another great feature is the ability to customize the project details you want to include and dependencies to the next steps that can't be completed until a task is done.
What do you dislike about the product?
You are pretty limited with the free version as the different views you can use. The timeline view is most helpful but only available on the paid version. It isn't costly to do the cheapest plan, but having all the views and specific features of the view you have to pay for would work better for me. Otherwise, I'm paying for a lot of stuff I don't need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This program is helping us to create workflows in our departments that didn't exist before. Tasks are assigned automatically based on completing a previous task, you can connect all your documents and links to project files, and communication with one another is as easy as typing a chat message.
Asanais a great space to manage multiple client projects at once.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the alternating views of tasks in Asana. I also like how you can implement rules to filter out which tasks are due today, this week, in general, etc. I really appreciate the little unicorn graphic that appears when you complete a task.
What do you dislike about the product?
What is least helpful about Asana is that tasks can only be not done or done. I'd prefer it if there was a status indicator for "in progress", "edit", etc. It would also be better if My Tasks showed which project each task was a part of because I do the same thing for multiple clients, so I have to go all the way into each project to see which task is for which project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company is remote, so Asana is serving as our central project management database. We are able to keep track of all client tasks and who's doing what and when, so we can overall be in better communication and stay productive.
Asana is a great concept, but other times logging tasks and organizing boards is time consuming.
What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration and ability to provide visibility across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maintaining projects and boards can be time-consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps keep priorities top of mind and allows us to link dependencies to completing them.
Love using Asana to manage a large customer book and collaborate with my colleagues
What do you like best about the product?
Love being able to have all my notes and tasks organized for each customer that I manage, as well as the ability to assign tasks to my teammates without having to call / slack them first.
Creating templates for my customer projects helps me save time while making sure all the important milestones are always top of mind.
Creating templates for my customer projects helps me save time while making sure all the important milestones are always top of mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
I currently add my notes to projects as "tasks" but wish there was a more obvious way to separate the notes out and make them searchable in bulk.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating with my teammates on a customer project, keeping my notes and milestones organized and templatized when possible
Asana for Product Management
What do you like best about the product?
Very simple to use. Can easily collaborate with multiple teams on multiple projects and keep things organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing structure is not ideal. They do not increment on a per seat basis but after the first 30 seats, they start incrmeneting on multiples of 10. I had 31 users on my team and had to pay for 40 users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to create tasks, add dependencies, attach files and references and communicate. This helps my team stay focused and collaborate on a single platforms.
Nice minimal project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, easy administration, good user interface
What do you dislike about the product?
Not suitable for agile sprint management
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing tasks easily with viewable boards for stakeholders
Asana boards for task management
What do you like best about the product?
It is to assign duties and manage workflow for employees. The Asana board allows us to group set of reoccurring tasks so that when for an example a new hire is onboarded, a number of assignments will be sent to the specified employees which creates a task list for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to hide templates. When we group an assignment a template is set and gets assigned as well, it's really no big deal though. I just move them yo a species category for templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Work management and collaboration with the team has been great using Asana. especially during these times where many employees work from him, this system has really helped with our management of projects and tasks.
