Managing medium-scale marketing projects and excellent reporting.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana improves the efficiency of interactions with internal teams and business workgroups (including external consultants and partners) by centralizing project execution requirements and eliminating the need for team-wide communication about the progress of individual tasks via email. It also allows you to upload files as proof of completed tasks and collaborate on a shared board to discuss the specifics of the work that needs to be done. It does, however, simplify project managers' work by combining features that can be connected with a click, prioritizing activities, and establishing a unique workflow, among other advantages.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a fantastic platform for a wide range of projects, and it's used worldwide; however, there's room for improvement in making it more intuitive at first glance, which would speed up the learning process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is a powerful tool for resolving many issues, including the timely completion of medium-scale marketing projects involving many colleagues and external consultants. This is because the system can be set up so that all participants report on the project's status and completion of assigned tasks. It helps keep track of data that can later be shown to higher-ups.
Asana is the superior method compared to other methods.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is its flexibility in terms of configuration options. As someone who wants to stay highly organized, I appreciate being able to set up my workflow in a way that makes sense for me. Additionally, the platform can be used with automation tools such as Zapier to create and assign tasks based on external triggers, demonstrating its power and potential.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Asana is that it excels at team collaboration and project management but lacks the granularity required for individual productivity. During my search, I discovered a practical application that combines task management and calendaring. Nevertheless, Asana lacked a feature that allowed users to superimpose a calendar on their app's tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that Asana is having is that it does not have access to my entire mind online. It is only possible for me to outline each step of a project or launch and fill in the blanks as necessary. In addition, it is not the most efficient teamwork method because I cannot control who on my staff sees what and when.
Solution to maximize and speed up workflow.

Asana: It assists me in staying on top of things at work.
What do you like best about the product?
I highly recommend Asana as an application for organizing individual and team tasks. It is adaptable to different user perspectives and business rules, which has made it an invaluable tool for our team. The regular updates to Asana's functionality help us stay focused on our objectives. From a strategic standpoint, Asana excels at managing projects and ensuring everyone is aligned with the same vision.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Asana is that it can be repetitive and monotonous. For example, if you complete a task and then leave it open, a duplicate containing the same data will be generated when you click "complete." This happens regularly, which gives the impression of disorder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of project management by enabling users to view their progress toward a goal, the priority status of their tasks, as well as its most helpful tool, delegation or task assignment, in an intuitive manner. Those who can cause a project's deadline to be missed are readily apparent.
Asana Offers Easy to Onboard Project Management for Remote Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is easy to use and easy to log into for people working in different locations. All members of the team can update information in real time and respond to each other. It is helpful to toggle between boards and calendar views to be able to see projects in process for an entire block of time allowing for accountability and planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
In some of the fields, such as calendar view, it is not always easy to edit a project, so you do have to remember to toggle between the different view options for full functionality. When working during team meetings, you also want to make sure everyone on the team is looking at the same information and the same view on the screen to track effectively. It does take some time to set up and onboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows members of our team around the world to see projects that we are working on together in the form of both boards and a calendar view. This allows us to plan workflow and to also look for places where we can work together more effectively for project planning and management. The graphic interface of Asana is easy to use and allows everyone to see things in real time.
Asana is great software!!
What do you like best about the product?
You may access each process's overview in Asana. Everyone can easily see what they are working on and what the next stages are thanks to this software. This is made feasible by the tools it provides, which ease collaboration and save time and effort. Additionally, internal and external cooperation occurs as a result of the tool's facilitation of team member communication through chats, public tasks, and timelines. This is especially helpful for IT project management, where it's important for all departments to work in unison and for tickets to be resolved quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like it when you add someone to a subtask and they also see the subtask as a task with a deadline since it leads to arguments because you think you have several assignments when there are actually just one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before going to bed, managing the management process of a massage business that was out of control with the help of its staff.
Paywalls existing features, otherwise lovely.
What do you like best about the product?
The UX is a cut above any other PM software I've used, even better than the one I have chosen in place of Asana (ClickUp). I love the frilly stuff that you can enable/disable depending on the tone of the project (I love my flying narwhals).
What do you dislike about the product?
Paywalling existing features is the quickest/easiest way to get put on my denylist for SaaS software that I will eventually pay big bucks on. It is a betrayal of trust that represents a flawed moral and/or ethical compass of the company's decision-makers. Perhaps some transparency about why it was done may have swayed my opinion in one direction or another, but there wasn't any, which indicated dark patterning to me. An ironic position to be in, given that I think their UX is otherwise stellar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Does all the things I need in project management software. The UX not only makes it efficient and easy, but also fun. Knowing all the little hacks like making cats appear is rare in SaaS and I absolutely love it.
Great Software
What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps me keep track of all my tasks and deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike other than not being able to complete a task on time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving daily updates to manager is a tideous task, asana makes it easier
Managing multiple project in a customizable environment.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a perfect tool for managing multiple projects at the same time. It's easy to use, and setting up and configuring your board takes only a few minutes to start immediately. The Asana dashboard includes all of the features required to manage your projects. Project templates can be created in bulk, allowing you to work on multiple projects simultaneously or start a new project without first discarding the old one. Team members you invite can then effectively collaborate. It is possible to automate tasks and monitor team performance. With Asana's reporting feature, you can view statistics for (un)completed, this month completed, and overdue tasks. The ability to convert this to a PDF for emailing is a convenient feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana's project management features are excellent, the app's other features, such as creating/configuring reports, setting goals, and building portfolios, are not user-friendly. No comprehensive educational materials can be a significant barrier to entry for newcomers and those who have never used any task/project management tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana to stay organized and never miss a deadline again. Asana notifications have assisted us in staying on top of our projects and maintaining open communication lines so that everyone is on the same page. We can also quickly transfer and share files related to the overall project or individual tasks when we work together.
