My favorite Project Management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is the very best UI in the game - allowing you all the different sorts of ways to track work - Kanban Style, task list, calendar view, even does some resource management and goal trees if you're a leader of teams. The product has a sortof magic quality because everything is autosave and drag/drop, etc, so it feels low lift to interact with, sortof like a spreadsheet instead of some over-engineered tool that's too focused on the features that managers want at the expense of work-doers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have always thought the worst part about Asana is visualizing a large list of projects. Most of the time, the solution is just to put those projects all under one project as Tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is the place I put all work to be done. I turn emails, slacks, and anything else into Asana tasks, allowing me to make sure I always prioritize and also limit the amount of Work In Progress at any one time to optimize throughput. Essential tool in my quiver as a consultant with half a dozen clients I manage
Good for organizations that have a resource to make sure it's being used
What do you like best about the product?
The UI, ability to add files to comments and cards, and the easy-to-generate reports make Asana a must-have for any organization dealing with a lot of creative work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI takes a bit of getting used to. This would be fine if it were a product that is used in isolation, but having to onboard and train coworkers who don't have prior experience working with (at least) a similar tool makes it hard to have it take a proper hold in day-to-day work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently in my organization Asana is only being used as a file repository but when we were using it actively it would really help us organize our BAU and track it effectively.
Great Project tracking tool which helps to streamline the entire business projects
What do you like best about the product?
The easy-to-understand UIUX helps to get a glance at the current status of the entire project. It is straightforward to assign or re-assign a task to overcome the delays.
What do you dislike about the product?
We used the free version. Hence there are limitations to adding new users and the storage. Else all features are good, and didn't feel any dislike while using the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being a small organization, we depended entirely on google sheets to track different projects. Since it involves a lot of manual interventions, we couldn't follow the tasks efficiently. Asana helps us to streamline our entire project tracking process seamlessly.
Asana is an excellent online collaboration and meeting software
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is how user-friendly the interface is. It's easy to get started with the application, and once you're familiar with it, it's simple to organize tasks and keep everyone on track. Additionally, I appreciate maintaining a log of all the jobs I've outsourced so that my team members can be reminded to get back on track if they fall behind. Finally, another great feature of Asana is the work calendars which make it easy for me to determine and reschedule planned start dates, durations, or job ends as necessary, including documents, reports, or emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is a great program, but there are a few things I don't like about it. Among the primary restrictions is that only one user can be assigned responsibility for tasks at a time. This can make it challenging to divide work among team members to complete it. Additionally, there's no way to monitor how much time each team member spends on a specific job, which might make meeting deadlines and staying within budget more difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Asana platform helps coordinate the marketing team's efforts to generate content and achieve objectives. In addition, this help facilitates the onboarding of new employees. After using Asana, we noticed a significant improvement in output.

Asana let's you execute according to plan
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is quite the project management platform, equipped with all the required tools for planning, monitoring and anlysis from start to finish. I like it because it helps you keep track of progress and timelines. Great at keep everything on schedule as planned.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative is an initial learning curve that is not very straightforward. It is also too general, with some platforms out there being very feature specific. Otherwise it delivers in terms of helping one execute according to plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Has helped with project planning, tracking, scheduling, collaboration, communication, teamwork and goal realization. Its made resource management easier and more effective thanks to maximizing through achievable timelines and better decision making based on process management.
Visualizing Projects, Timelines and to-do lists
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana integrates with Slack and is pretty easy to use from an intuition/familiarity standpoint. I have used Trello in the past when I was the only one working on tasks/initiatives, Asana has allowed me to add additional team members, project types and calendars!
What do you dislike about the product?
This is nothing against Asana, one of my team members is less familiar with how to add a task to a project so I have to go in and do that for them. They are new to tech, so it's opening up an opportunity to train them from a SOP perspective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
--Managing the many moving parts (details, project leads, timelines, cross-team visibility) of a marketing department.
--Allowing for planning ahead and tracking initiatives with accuracy.
--Minimizing assets getting "lost in email"

Great for team projects
What do you like best about the product?
I have used Asana for projects that require a lot of tasks completed by various people across the world. I liked how Asana has the option of not only seeing where you are at in the project but also communicating with everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first it was difficult for me to get the interface but it just requires for you to get used to it. I loved the app overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This app is very useful to assign tasks on big projects that require the input of several people. The ability to communicate on the tasks you have been assigned is incredibly useful as well.
A good project management tool having multiple features which can be used for free.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is the complete package for project and task management. Features like task assignments in specific projects to specific people and due dates are extremely easy to navigate and use. You can integrate Asana with various apps, we primarily use it with Slack. We can get an instant message when any task is updated, which is a very useful feature. You can add all the related assets like screenshots, documents, sheets in the task itself and the comment feature ensures that you have the relevant information secure with the task if you want to revisit it in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many cons of Asana, but if I have to, the costliness is extremely high in Asana. If you want to use the premium features like automation, goals, project portfolios, you need to pay a lot of money to Asana per month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a media agency, and through Asana, we can effectively manage the tasks for each team member in individual projects efficiently. It helps us keep track of the different deliverables to the client and keep track of the projects.
