Increasing our effectiveness in planning and tracking a project progress
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has an aesthetic, organized and colorful look and feels that allows me to manage my custom tasks to send to the client.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not have a time and budget option and does not allow me to see the status of the account or project so I have had to do it independently from the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is quite easy to implement and the whole team has been able to adapt to its use effectively improving the way we have been using it these last months avoiding many tasks being lost or diverted. It is quite functional software because it has all the tools that fit each department in our company and its variety of functions allows us to keep proper control over what has been previously planned, sending us alerts and allowing us to tag users, creating a window that allows us to chat and talk directly with them about some problem that has arisen.
Amazing tool to organize tasks
What do you like best about the product?
Asana continues to be an outstanding project management tool for our team. The ability to create separate roadmaps for different projects keeps everything structured and easy to track. I especially like the flexibility within each project - using sections such as Active Operations, To Do, In Progress, and Completed makes workflow management simple and visually clear.
Some newer features I appreciate are the improved timeline view, better automation options, and enhanced integrations with other tools. Automations help reduce manual work, and the reporting dashboards give a quick overview of progress without needing to dig deep into tasks. The collaboration features, such as comments, tagging teammates, and file attachments, make communication seamless within the platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
If there is one area for improvement, it would be onboarding for new users. While Asana is powerful, it can initially feel overwhelming because of the number of features available. A more guided setup experience or interactive tutorials for beginners would make the learning curve smoother.
Overall, Asana has remained consistent in performance and reliability. It keeps projects organized, improves team coordination, and continues to evolve with useful features. Highly recommended.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a startup, there are so many tasks to do but with a small team. And because of that, it can be tough to keep track of all the ongoing tasks, to be completed or even completed. Asana has helped us stay organized and complete our work before deadlines.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is fully featured in terms of task management and a really powerful way to hit the ground running on projects and who's doing what.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI greatly restricts the tool to managing tasks. While it's sleek and very powerful, it's a bit hard to grasp how things can interrelate with notes or documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helped keep multiple, concurrent projects in check - helped team leaders understand where we were in terms of progress on any project - and helped us begin to put stuff all in one, cloud-based place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure that you relate it with other applications to give you the full, comprehensive experience for project management purposes. Slack integration is amazing, for instance!

Great software that makes communication easy
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a great tool for our team, and it has become even more popular because it is so simple and effective. The Gmail add-on is a great example of how useful external integrations can be, it helps reduce the chances of having duplicate tasks. Categorizing projects by their functional areas are also very helpful, as it allows us to see our overall progress more clearly.

Formatting fields and modifying theme colors should be possible. An easier way to display previously hidden timelines would be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our support and development teams use it daily to track tickets. Examples include bug reports, feature requests, and quality assurance checks. It assists us in assessing our workflow and preparing for future steps.

Complicated to handle for newbees and Only one assignee allowed per story

Try to master the setup and learn to use plugins and later it becomes a habit and may be best in terms for free plans among the competitors like Jira or test trails
