Easy to use with a simple task interfase
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is simple to use, really quick to set and friendly with users. Especially for those teams which are starting their journey for a project management tool, this can solve in the way of "To-do lists"
What do you dislike about the product?
Way too basic for complex or long-term projects.
Asana is more a "task organizer" than a project management tool. If you want to have full control and track of the activities related to a project with detailed follow-up, Asana might not be enough

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helped us to organize follow-ups in short periods with non-dependent tasks.
We used it to identify who was responsible for Task assignation and notification to users, due dates and somehow, nested or related tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
We loved Asana for our bookkeeping firm and we need to an app that would also create invoices.
We also loved the tier training sessions for our staff.
We also loved the tier training sessions for our staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
We could not make invoices for our time spent on a project. We could have used an invoicing app but it was too expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, facilitation to modify a batch of projects and tasks.
Better management of projects.
Better management of projects.
Great tool for almost the entire company regardless of size.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is really easy to work with and learn. The boards are easy to setup and gives you the ability to easily switch between. I think it has a better layout than Monday.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automation is limited at the business tier and would require enterprise that has a little too high price tag. The Jira integration could be better and work two ways.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project Management, make sure design, copy and other things stay on track along with development. Made the team much more productive, with greater performance overall.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at the entire company's needs, and near future needs, to build requirements. Ask the sales team if if it's doable and what tier / other applications are required to make this possible.
We’d be lost without Asana!
What do you like best about the product?
Love how "approachable" Asana is. The friendly, light branding goes a long way, in my book! They also have a wealth of tutorials and templates written in plain English that help the daunting task of project management seem a little less overwhelming....and, dare I say, a little fun?
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a plus and a minus that Asana has so many awesome features. I sometimes feel like I'm not using it as efficiently as I could be, but it not really the software's fault that I'm a perfectionist!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company rarely has time to all be on our computers tackling things at the same time- Asana helps us all stay on the same page from afar and keep important, pertinent info all in one place.
Solid Project Management Resource
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of communication and to be able to collaborate across teams at my organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you accidentally delete a task, it is gone forever and there is no way to retrieve it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary use for us is making sure every task that needs to be done for a project/event is assigned to someone and helps create an accountability system.
Great tool for tracking projects and tasks
What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive very intuitive provides several ways to very task list
What do you dislike about the product?
No reporting of completed tasks and progress of tasks
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prioritizing and listing of projects and tasks. Holds teams and people accountable.
Simple, flexible and very useful
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very well designed, very intuitive and even when we get new people to use this in the team they pick it up pretty quickly. Its flexible and we use it on both sides (Sales Process tracking and Sprints)
What do you dislike about the product?
Custom information capture at each stage could have made this even more powerful. Also, more reporting and dashboard features would be nice to have. Overall fairly satisfied with how it it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating on our Sales leads as we have a very unique process and Asana's flexibility helps us set it up and have multiple users collaborate on a lead. On Project Management side as well this is turning out to be very useful
Asana has made it so much easier for me to manage my own time.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how flexible Asana is. I can create my own columns to track varying elements of my tasks. This makes it super easy to manage the time I estimate each task will take too. It's also easy to change the format for each project based on what that project is. Is it an internal learning tool the team needs to implement? Is it an event? Is it a general marketing campaign? These also look so different from each other, and Asana allows us to create based on that specific project.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to get everyone onboard in Asana. There are so many pieces to learn, and nuances for our specific team, and can be time-consuming to get in and learn. So really the fact that Asana is so robust is the biggest challenge we face when getting members of our team to use the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're working on getting people to plan further ahead with their small day-to-day tasks, but we're also using Asana to think through bigger projects that are coming down the pipe too. So ultimately Asana is our planning tool to manage our teams' work and workload.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would strongly recommend Asana because it's so customizable and yet easy to use at the same time.
Love Asana!
What do you like best about the product?
I truly appreciative the collaborative nature of Asana, allowing me to use it for both my professional and personal life.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more of a gantt chart-like view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving core collaboration needs across a cross-functional team. A lot of streamlined operations and the ability to duplicate plans for similar tasks/programs.
Ultimate Workplace Management Dashboard for Businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is the only tool in this space that is loved the most. Asana helps our organization work cumulatively on a project seamlessly. We can create, assign, and manage tasks with the greatest of ease. It helps us break down a huge project into small tasks and assigns those to multiple team members where they can work and update progress in the description box embedded within the task menu. It reminds about the tasks which are due by some date in order to help us priortize our work. It allows us a lot of conveniences to work with no trouble while working remotely.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is a great tool yet some drawbacks are there. If a task is to be assigned to multiple people, it won't allow you to do that. Apart from that, if you are working on a task from a long list of tasks and you have to go to the next task you have to go back to the previous master task to jump to the next one. It doesn't provide you the convenience to jump to the next task from the previous one. That consumes a lot of time when we are working under pressure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it to keep a record of the tasks I have performed in a day. Additionally, I'm using it to track the progress of the tasks assigned to my team. I'm using it to gather data from multiple people working within the organizaion in several departments. At last, it reminds me of the due tasks and helps me prioritize my work.
