Using Asana has simplified my days!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can easily add tasks and dates, add collaborators, use the phone or desktop app, and that you can copy project templates to reuse.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish some tasks could be based on times (every 3 days, every Monday, every 4 months, etc)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's so easy to categorize everything in my to-do list and free up space in my brain. I love the reminders and the ability to message with my team.
Great for multi projects or team work
What do you like best about the product?
If great if you work with multiple projects or duties at the same time, or if you work with a team. It keeps everything organized, in time, and perfectly distributed
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you can forget to asign a person or the time and asana soes not tell you, you have to be carefull about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to work with a large team so everybody know what to do, who is next, their due dates, etc. Also, I work with multiple projects at the same time so, it so easy for me to have everything in control with asana.
Asana is great
What do you like best about the product?
We love how it helps us manage several projects across various clients at once
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish there was a way to apply changes to our template across all projects
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving collaboration internally and externally with clients
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana really shines when it comes to collaborating with our clients. It's easy to bring them into Asana and keep our projects segmented.
Asana
What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to keep my tasks organized and clear within Asana. I feel like this is great for independent contributors and small teams. As teams grow larger, there are better tools available for this type of functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
As our team began to grow, things felt like the got lost in Asana. It seemed harder to find what you were looking for and there wasn't much ability to collaborate in some of the ways that I now see are more effective/productive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using as an independent contributor, to keep track of my own tasks within various projects has been very beneficial to me. It's easy to see what exactly is accountable to me and keep it organized based on project/priority, etc.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staff workflow/understanding of what all needs to get done has been very helpful. Helpful for organizing the team an our tasks
Not my favorite
What do you like best about the product?
It was a pretty platform. It wasn't like it was outdated or anything!
What do you dislike about the product?
It was harder to navigate than other platforms I've used. I enjoy basecamp and teamwork.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that it keeps all work in one place and organized.it makes it easy to keep a paper trail.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think it's all about preference! Some people love it. Worth a try.
Best for project management
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly interface and easy management
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about asana though it would be great if we have more user guides
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits I have realised are that I don't need any extra tool for any project to keep track of it
Easy to use, eye catchy and interactive
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can add tasks and your teammates can check them in real-time. Also is easy to use, organized and includes different canvas options for your projects; you can share extra documents with your team. Moreover, it includes different view options depending on what you want to focus on in your project.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't assign the same task to different people, it only allows one person per task. Also, there's a limited importing and exporting documents ability, you can not upload a variety of heavy documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage my school program there, I can schedule a whole semester's lesson plan and check my progress and different teachers' progress. Moreover, if there's a barrier or we have to change the program it's easier for everybody to just do it there.
We love Asana!
What do you like best about the product?
I have been a project manager for many years. There are so many features that I like about Asana - the integrations, forms, portfolios, proofing, adding tasks to multiple projects...Asana is constantly working to improve. I love this since there is an element of surprise to see what comes next. I remember how exciting it was when it became possible to toggle between list and board view on a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Full team-wide adoption is challenging. We have upped our training game since I started to head up a task force about a year ago which includes a rep from each department. We meet monthly to check in re: pain points, strategies and wins in our departments. I have gotten better at training new employees on the platform when they join the company but then once they are onboarded and their individual team is not strong on Asana they may stop using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving for organizational silos. Silos are a perennial problem, especially now that we are almost fully remote.
We are working to build an archive of project templates so that we do not need to recreate the wheel each time and so we have an archive of past projects.
We are getting better at triaging various organizational requests through forms to different project boards rather than having this information get lost in emails, slack, etc.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana offers many resources for learning and implementing the platform. We did not have an in-house expert when I began at Dream Corps 7 years ago. It has been a challenge to build up team-wide commitment and use of Asana. As the years have passed and I have assumed more and more responsibility for team-wide implementation I recognize that patience and persistence must be part of any Asana implementation strategy. It also might have helped us if we had hired someone who was already proficient in the platform before introducing it so that the foundations were strongly established from the start.
