Asana Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana helps keep the team on track and can create multiple priorities. I like that Asana sends email reminders of your tasks, and rewards you when you're complete with something.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Asana is not designed in a very aesthetically pleasing way. The way the boards are created, it can be hard to read and keep track because they all look the same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana for project management with both quick deliverables and long-term creative projects. It is helpful for a dispersed team where someone cannot discuss responsibilities in person.
Great results achieved through efficient project management
What do you like best about the product?
I love the easy way to coordinate my work, collaborate with my colleagues, and move productively on tasks and projects together through Asana. Its working environment and views are friendly; everything within Asana is well organized and puts in our hands everything we need for planning, management, and constant monitoring of projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the moment, there is nothing negative I want to review about Asana; it has met my personal and group expectations. I am happy with the results obtained in the projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Within my organization, the use of Asana has been vital for each work team to stay focused on their joint tasks. The way Asana promotes collaboration between team members has been instrumental in keeping us in sync and moving forward with the projects under development. Our workflow is now more dynamic thanks to Asana, which is positive for my team and the organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is simply a fantastic tool, the right software for efficient task and project management. It is intuitive, easy to use, has very nice views, and keeps work teams in sync. Asana is one of the few tools I would recommend, without a doubt.
Asana Organization
What do you like best about the product?
If you want to be organized every day at work and keep colleagues organized on projects, to-do lists, etc. then Asana is for you! Working in supply chain, to hardware, to computer software, it doesn't matter the industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the amount of actions happening in asana across teams, projects, colleagues, and the notifications that result from them can be overwhelming at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are keeping track of Key Performance Indicators, project management, feature requests, ideas, all organized in one place where all team members can access and contribute in real-time seamlessly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It would be nice to have better control over the notifications you receive. Going through endless settings and figuring out how to turn off certain notifications isn't a great user experience all of the time.
Really helps our team workflow
What do you like best about the product?
- Easy to use
- Great looking UI/UX
- Notifications are very useful
- Seamless collaboration

What do you dislike about the product?
Its connection to Figma is lacking in functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us to track daily tasks across a spectrum of teams.
A solid choice for project management and task coordination
What do you like best about the product?
It's a fairly ease to learn user interface and allows me a great visualization of my projects as a workflow. Easy to assign and gain visibility across the team, too, on who's handling what tasks with each project, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
n/a I don't have much to share on this point at this time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inner-team project mgmt and task coordination
Love it - but could use a few updates
What do you like best about the product?
I like how many options Asana has to build a project - endless amounts of sub lists, and easy to view from any level. The timeline section and inbox feature are more helpful than other project management software I've used. The excel integration is top notch for extensive repetitive projects as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest problem for me is that you can't assign a task to more than one person. I often need several people to approve something, and with this function missing, I need to duplicate tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team works on several print brochures at one time. Asana makes sure we don't miss dates, and helps us integrate with contractors easily. Other PM software I've used isn't as friendly to outside accounts.
Asana helps assist with project and task based work
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is easy to use and works a lot like an email inbox. You can categorize and organize your task based work using the features provided to help prioritize projects and tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it seems to be used like an email system instead of keeping all task based work in it. This is not necessarily a bad experience but can make it confusing as to when to use one tool versus another tool for communicating. I'd just make sure that the group that uses it with you is consistent in how they use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing tasks. Prioritizing work. Sharing information about projects and passing tasks around, including making sub-tasks which help in project management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When implemented set guidelines for the group using it in your organization so it's used consistently across a team.
Love Asana
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and helps keep track of projects so you can do your work successfully. It helps to manage different projects and tasks in a way that makes sense and is simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit tedious to add everything into Asana. There aren't great import options when you create a marketing plan from Excel to begin with. It also can't track dollar amounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can easily keep track of all the different tasks and projects we have going on in a day. It makes it easier to not lose track of items that need to be sent or completed.
Loving Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can channel my ocd into this program. I can organize, track and make sure every team memeber is doing the best jobs they can!
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike a lot about this program. I guess i wonks say, remember to close all tasks out of there will be reporting issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This program easily shows what everyone is doing. It's a great way to keep track
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes!
Friendly and fun project management tool to keep even a small team organized
What do you like best about the product?
I love that each project has its own space, there are so many ways to view the tasks and information, and the interface is SO easy to use. I have used a lot of project management tools over the years (trello, jira, write, google keep) and this one had the smoothest rollout, basically no training needed, and we were rolling on day one.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just a small thing - right now you have to archive a project in order to "get rid of" completed tasks. That is fine but it wasn't what I was expecting. I'm still trying to figure out how to best use sub-task deadlines to support incremental progress towards tasks - it would be so neat if a suggested timeline came up!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transparency into who is doing what! This is especially helpful for independent work that may come together later on in a project. It is equally helpful in creating personal checklists and projects that no one else *has* to see - a great balance of features for teams and individuals.
