Excellent tool for personal organization as well as team organization and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy Asana's back end - how they send out frequent email updates with new technologies in their platform, as well as posting friendly videos in platform of how to utilize new tools. I love the Portfolio feature for Business as you can group together projects by department, for example, or by departmental section, and then receive a weekly forecast of that portfolio in one email. They're terribly useful, especially for sending to CEOs or other top leaders who are not involved in the day-to-day minutia.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you create a task, you can assign it to a person or project. When you create a subtask, you can do the same. When you create a subtask of a subtask however, these assignments cannot be made. It isn't often that a third level is needed, but it would still be useful to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Initially we were using Asana as a task tracking tool, rather than really utilizing the projects and teams properly. As we've worked with it over the last year, and grown our startup, we have realzied how to better use the platform. Ultimately, we decided to completely start a new company and scratch the old one rather than try to copy tasks over. We've gotten a better sense of the way we organize and how that translates to Asana. It's not like OmniFocus where you are coming from a GTD base, so there is a set way to use the platform. Asana is open to anyone and so flexible that it can be adapted to most settings, be it personal or business. That flexibility does come with a learning curve.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that you are organized, or have an idea of what you want the platform to help you with, otherwise it will just be a big daunting toolbox.

Task Lists: Projects are made up of subtasks and sub-subtasks, lists and to-dos. Being able to delineate what needs to be done, when, by whom, is essential for a project to develop well.
Schedules: schedules, calendars help you know where tasks fit within the broad outline of a project. This is key to be able to deliver a project on time.
File Sharing - Nobody likes wasting time trying to find random files. The ability to organize and share files and key project assets is important to efficiently deliver a project.
Communication: Project-specific contextual communication to quickly analyze things and chat with your team and the client is vital to keep tasks on track.
Reports: As a Software Engineer and project manager, our job is to know whether or not our project is on track. Therefore it is essential to know how the tasks of a project are progressing, will it be delivered on time or not?

With Asana you get improvement in the contextual and specific communication of each proposed project, it is ideal to quickly analyze things, chat, get proposals from the rest of the team, make changes, with your team and the client, it is vital to keep tasks on track, good direction.

it takes a while to really get the hand of Asana. It's a lot of learning to get a handle on it.

cross-team collaborations are able to see results/status in real-time. I'm able to quickly see the status of a project, what needs to get done, ping the person who needs to get it done.

if you need to manage a project and need to have it detailed out this is the software for you. While it takes a while to get up to speed the ability to track team work and projects is a no brainer

What do you like best about the product?
One of the useful features that I love about ASANA is its ability to adapt to different situations and different work times that occur throughout the life cycle of a project. Each one of its functionalities or characteristics contributes to achieving each project successfully. Its integrations are other platforms, being able to create cards, add content, ideas, attachments, and other things, is completely simple.

Taking our expectations into account is important and that is why I want to recommend asana because it has the necessary resources to develop any project we have in mind, it is efficient in resolving conflicts and it motivates each team member.

What do you like best about the product?
It's not difficult to create activities and projects by adding updates, data, and notes! I say much more about intuitive design and the functionality of this particular program. Not merely could I do all in the application of mine, but also the look of the application site is properly designed. This results in a painless procedure when attempting to handle tasks. No one loves a cumbersome screen when it comes to utilizing GSD.

Asana does everything so smoothly. Want something moved? Chances are you can drag it. Wish you could do something? Click the 3 dots, I bet the option is in there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Naming your custom reports is great, but takes a second to figure out how to do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project Management. It does it so much better than other dedicated solutions. Zoho for example.

Speed up workflow, and make life easier. You'll have spare time to fill out surveys online :)
Excellent way for supervisor to assign tasks.
What do you like best about the product?
I believe it is good that Asana is actually the ideal way for supervisors to assign activities and monitor the improvement of the staff, as well as take notes on the jobs I've to do. Asana is actually intuitive, not hard to learn as well as adapt. Feedback can make it easier to discuss specific tasks, and that is actually helpful. Sub-tasks are also a very good feature that really should be done much more often, but unfortunately it's not.

I have had not found something I do not love about body style. It provided all the services I expected.
