Great for project management!
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the simplicity and ticket system to help keep myself organized. I also enjoy the task email reminders.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I didn't like was the overall format for displaying projects (I'm an excel girl) and recently they added the list view which I love!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, I don't have any problems! :)
Personal Training Gym
What do you like best about the product?
I like the checklist feature so the gym owner can assign me tasks and give deadlines, then I can work at my own pace to complete them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't find it particularly necessary. I like the convenience, but don't depend on it most days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like how the gym owner can push stuff out to us trainers without having to call a meeting or send a lengthy email. It streamlines communication and I can simply check off tasks when they are done and know that I've gotten caught up.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's great if you need to communicate with people who aren't normally together.
An easy project management tool that helps us review and share projects remotely.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how visually appealing it is, able to see projects in front of you clearly -- along with subprojects and able to assign, comment, drag and drop, and mark as done! I love the ability to choose the layout that works best for us! Having the mobile app is helpful when you are on the go and don't have access to your laptop/desktop
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't necessary like the some of the short code used to editing/adding/subtracting/connecting projects. Although they offer many great things for a base-level account, I do wish we had more capabilities without going into a higher payment bracket.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are all remote staff with varying schedules, times, and projects. To be able to communicate either through the mobile app or desktop has done wonders for being able to see where each individual is at in their projects. It's also been a life saver as it connects with Slack which we also use for communication!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It might be a different way of communication, or it might take a bit to fully understand all of it's capabilities, but I would encourage you to continue learning. When you begin to implement and use all of the functionalities, you will see your project management skills thrive and all projects completed. It's visually appealing and doesn't make you feel that you're working with a dated software. It's fresh, it's clean, it's easy and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a project-management platform!
Great product for team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is useful if you are working on projects that require close coordination between multiple team members. I've used it to track my individual work streams as well which can be helpful too, but depends on your personal flow and preferences.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's sometimes hard to find tasks that are buried as subtasks within other tasks. It's also annoying to set up projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Asana helps to keep my team on task, organized, and communicating effectively!

Honestly, there is nothing I do not like about asana.

The biggest benefit of asana is being able to see what my team is working on and visually understand where we need to be prioritizing our time and what is still outstanding.

Collaboration techniques with multiple people within same team, as well as different teams

The user interface is quite basic and simple

Working with many teams, trying to solve the com[lexity of communication
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's slightly better than Trello. However, it feels the same while using.
It's great for teams that have several steps for process

I like that you can organize tasks and assign new tasks to coworkers. It was a good way to track other's progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't seem to be as intuitive as I had originally thought
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When there are tasks that take a long time to complete having the tasks spread out and completion reminders is helpful, but we found that it wasn't the best fit for our team. When using it new tasks would come up and it just wasn't the best form of communication for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Educate yourself on how to use it first. We didn't do a lot of research before using it and I'm sure that we missed out on some of the better features of Asana out of ignorance

Ability to create daily task checklist in a template and create a new task list every business day as needed

Not able to add view only IDs. Would be nice feature to add View IDs Only to keep track of checklist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has made it easy to keep track of daily tasks and reassign tasks if necessary because employees are OOO or workload imbalance.
