An amazing tool for project management
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is easily the best tool I've ever used for project management and staying on top of tasks. It can be as in-depth and complex or as simple and easy as you want it to be. The wide range of project templates give you a lot of flexibility for managing your work the way you need to, and the various views and plenty of customizable options let you track things however you'd like. Overall, it's a great tool for working with teams or even keeping track of your own tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana can be a little overwhelming when you first start using it. Before I used Asana, I used another project management took that overall looked more user friendly and was easier to get started. It's possible that I missed training videos or manuals for Asana, but streamlining the getting started process and possible sending tips or training videos via email would strengthen the user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana as part of a small (5 people) marketing team. Before we started using Asana, we kept track of everything in our heads. Tasks constantly fell through the cracks and we constantly felt behind. Through Asana, our team has been able to consistently track and manage projects in an easy way that helps all of us stay on top of things!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's worth it! Even if it seems a little daunting to get started, go for it. It's well worth your time, and will save you countless hours down the road.

What do you dislike about the product?
Limited features in free edition. It may have some advance features in free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to maintain several projects

Review of Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I like that asana allows the entire team to add updates to keep everyone on the same page and allows you to assign tasks to others which can be especially helpful if a team member is going to be gone for some reason and needs to remind others to fill in for them
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is always very glitchy and I always have to spend so much time updating my tasks because the line item I am trying to type on keeps clicking elsewhere
I also dislike how there is no default to who the task belongs to or what date it is due so I have to set these fields each time I make a task which takes a lot of time

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows everyone to be on the same page but I honestly hate updating my taks because its such a hassle, usually the worst part of my day

Do not use it in internet explorer

When you are part of a lot of boards, it can get confusing

The best for managing workflow and times
What do you like best about the product?
The possibility to manage your own workload and others. It gives visibility of "The big picture" to you and your superiors. Things that are not clear for them such as amount of work, times and priorities. The communication improved a lot since we started usin asana. For me, the real value lays in being able to organize my everyday tasks and tag them in different projects. The calendar visibility is one of it's best tools, you can drag and drop as needed any task you are working on, making it easy to change the date of a task. We tried with many different softwares before: Basecamp, Trello, etc; but none of them were as full and satisfying. Features like time tracking, customizable permissions, risk management, team collaboration and much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
You are not able to assign tasks and tag them in other boards without appearing on them. This was the most problematic tool to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Times and workload are much more visible. Good organization.Conectivity with other applications and softwares.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Free trial is a good way to know if Asana is for you. Use it during a week and you'll see the value of it.
The Best Project Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is our favourite project management tool that helps our team to manage projects easily. The major reason why we love Asana over similar tools is it is absolutely free to use for up to 15 members. We can create tasks and Asana offers list view, board view, calendar view, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana's Android App is not easy to use as it's web view. Also, Asana doesn't make a native desktop app for Windows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If you are a small team and you are looking for free project management tools with excellent features, you can use Asana. Protecting the data you trust is Asana's one of the important priority so you won't need to worry about your privacy.
Gets the work done, manages the team, but there's just something missing...
What do you like best about the product?
Asana excels in laying out projects, tasks, and shows the info that the teams needs right in front of their own dashboards. A very useful feature especially if you have a huge team to manage.
Asana basically micro-manages the whole team for you. You can set it up so that there's a hierarchy that passes tasks along to those who need to do it... and at the same time, these can easily be monitored by people who need to know when these certain tasks are done.
The best thing I can probably say is that Asana has (sort of) a messaging center within the platform although, it still needs a lot of work, the main focus of Asana is task/team management.

What do you dislike about the product?
The messaging platform within Asana isn't the best... and it's not real time so you need to refresh your browser (not sure if they updated this but if they did, kudos to Asana). Aside from that, Asana does what it does best and that's pretty much the important thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of task management is compiled and updated easier because of Asana. While there are a lot of other competing software that can match what Asana does, Asana can do it seamlessly in their system. Something great about Asana is that you can easily set who can see which tasks, who can update or comment on a project, and who can assign or complete various steps needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
While there is a learning curve if you want to fully utilize everything Asana has to offer, it's still easy enough to hop into if you're looking to start out with a couple of projects. The best part about Asana is that you can get into it slowly until you master every aspect and option there is.
A really great option for medium to large teams with a handful of projects.
