What do you like best about the product?
All the diff tasks can be organized by today, upcoming, and later.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only had a free 7 day trial so I was not able to see how asana fully works with longer projects or bigger ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the tasks are not being kept to their due date. Enforcing sticking to the due dates.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great to distribute projects and share with team members wo are also depending on certain tasks.
Gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
Asana gives my team a platform to organize complex projects. It serves as a centralized location to assign tasks, due dates, and compile documents. It can be used as my personal organization system to keep track of assignments, can also be scaled up to our 50+ person office, and everything in between. In my day to day I use asana to manage and prioritize tasks across multiple teams, collaborate with project members, and share important files such as ad images, contracts, workflows, etc. My team also uses the project view to keep tabs on team wide OKRs and to share larger goals with the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The slack integration does not push notifications work if you are active within Asana. This is not something that's communicated clearly and my team has missed many messages as a result. Asana is also, like any other tool, subject to user error. If it's not set up correctly and not maintained it won't be effective. Team members who don't use Asana for their day to day find the tool intimidating and hard to pick up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of work existing in multiple locations. Gone are the days where I would have to dig through emails to find the file that was sent last week. With asana I can simply search for it and it appears!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Keep in communication with your team about what's working. Asana is a malleable tool that can be used in a variety of ways. Make sure it's set up and maintained in a way that works for you.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite function is the assignment tab - I am a coordinator at a gaming company and there is a lot of different tasks I need to delegate for different people to process. Using Asana and assigning them to people, creates a more streamlined approach to help get things approved.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many columns, in the midst of so many projects, too many columns creates confusion
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is used best for ongoing projects, especially during the approval process. It feels great to assign it to someone and let them complete the task on their own time. Perhaps we can also use a reminder button
Makes team collaboration seamless!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that my teams can have conversations related to a particular task or project without having to hunt through various emails and texts, and that project files can be easily kept in one place related to the task/project. This eliminates lots of redundant time and makes collaborative efforts more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Asana had a task list across all projects in all workspaces. Sometimes I like to be able to get the big picture of everything I need to do for various clients and projects, and right now, it's not possible to do that in a cohesive manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the problem of missing files, because they are stored with the task instead of potentially lost in an email. It also improves team communication and keeping tabs on who is doing what, what's been completed, and what is still left to do.
Asana is a great project management tool.
What do you like best about the product?
Its simplicity is what I like best. Many of the tools out there are too complex for smaller companies. And I love the calendar view.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike very little. I'm sure there are some features, like it connecting easier to my email, will come to play in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Asana for managing project tasks for 4 different clients. Which is a huge help. Bigger systems only allowed me two main projects and it was too bulky for my needs. Asana is great for now.

We finally have a way to assign dates, priority, and owners to tasks.

It's a little hard to see what you have due and all the context

What do you like best about the product?
Great organization and structuring is very flexible. It's very easy to create dependence and flows for repetitive projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The flexibility of the system means you have to know and understand it before you get too deep. It's very easy to use Asana in a crappy way. But if you are smart and invest the time, it is awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management across multiple teams for all areas of a business. Very easy to have others follow and bring folks into a task mid-project.

What do you like best about the product?
i like that i can invite team members outside my org and i like the logic/alerts you can setup for each task to notify the assigned resource
What do you dislike about the product?
i do not like the ux for formatting bullets/subtasks/numbered lists. additionally, templates are not very intuitive to apply

we use it for tracking website ux QA bug logging/troubleshooting/regression testing and status updates btwn dev/pm/creative/acct teams

its functional and easy to use for those who are not particularly tech savvy.

What do you like best about the product?
When I used Asana, it was great for managing tasks and automated processes. It gave me a clear view of where each project was at. My favorite view was the board view, it's just how my brain works. I absolutely loved that I could add subtasks inside of each task but my favorite thing was having a template created and being able to implement a more automated system within my projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like that I couldn't see all the projects on one dashboard (or at least I couldn't find it). I wish the board view was more condensed. I didn't like that I had to scroll really far over to be able to see where the end of my project was at.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to finally see what part of the process each client was in. I set it up so I could manage branding projects. I loved that I could see a lot of different views but also check off a whole chunk of the project easily. This made it much more efficient to work in.
