What do you like best about the product?
It keeps you organized and on track of each task.

What do you like best about the product?
Tons of features that allow you to detail as much or as little as you'd like for each line item you add.
Categorization of tasks allow for easier viewing and streamlined organization between teams viewing page. No size restriction on uploads is very nice.

What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe not the best for very complicated projects that require mutliple updates a day for long periods of time. I think some items, such as the inbox and updates, could be highlighted more... it's easy for a newbie to Asana to possibly miss some of these items as they come. We noticed a few people we integrated with Asana had to be reminded a few times that there were tasks on their plate that we put on Asana, they mentioned they did not know where to look or didn't see them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staying on the same page with external vendors. Allows for sharing and updating eachother outside of company intranet.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make it a required task to hold meeting minutes on Asana - come up with a format to follow when doing so. Make sure to enable emails when updates are made on tasks you are assigned to.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana keeps our team on the same page. I can see the progress and status of everyone's work, and it's so satisfying to mark a task as done!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike - it's very helpful!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana makes our team more efficient. Transparency into all of the projects makes it easy to see where we are and what needs to get done without having to ask anyone. It is a time saver.
Asana is kind of okay
What do you like best about the product?
It’s helpful to get the tasks aligned. Easy to track. The job done criteria’s are clearly defined. In fact on hold is also wisely done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like the number of steps I need to do to get to something. It’s a lot of clicks. I don’t want to waste time on clicks to get get to one thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s used for tracking and updating stories and tasks. It’s beneficial to accommodate all the tasks in various stages.
Great for sharing, but not always intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Asana is that it allows for easy sharing of projects, assignments, and information among team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Asana interface does not always seem intuitive and it can occasionally be difficult to find what I'm looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows me to share information with other team members in real time, assign taks, and manage follow up. This is especially helpful when team members are not always working during the same times or in the office during regular hours.

This Software works for us tracking what needs to be done and what we have accomplished as we go along

I don't like that it's so similar to other softwares that we use in our company

We are solving the transparency problem in our company. We can see what every department is working on when we use Asana
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana does exactly what they say they will do. They help you track your tasks and who they are assigned to, you can set due dates and see what's been completed and by whom.

Appealing graphics, the ability to tag people, and recurring emails
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the navigation to a specific task is not clear and you're dependent on the search tool. It also seems like the indexing for search is not always intuitive.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a startup so we're working to manage a lot of cross functional projects on Asana, we've used it for smaller compliance projects all the way to rolling out new products
Best Project Management Tool & To-Do List
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a big to-do "lister" and I just love Asana. I like that you can use it as a basic to-do list, or you can use it to help plan out projects. I also really appreciate the recurring tasks, as I have tasks I need to do weekly so it's helpful to just set those to recur. I love the random unicorns you get for completing tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
They got rid of the ability to automatically sort by due date, which I find really annoying. I have to re-sort every time I log in. I also don't love that with recurring tasks, if you are late to complete it, it pushes it back to X amount of days after you complete the task, not after the task was due. Sometimes I'm late with tasks, and say I want the task to recur every 15 days, I don't want it to be 15 days after it was late to be completed. I'd like a workaround with that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It just helps organize my life and plan out big projects. I have my tasks assigned for major projects through August 2020 (it's September 2019).
Love this product
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can make a to-do list in asana and I love the satisfaction of ticking off the items on my list as I finish them. I also love how easy it is to use and how I can communicate and tag other people in it so that they can see tasks that I assign to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am happy with the product, there is nothing I would change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving communication issues. We have a few people in the company that work remotely and this software has helped us all stay on the same page when trying to finish products and to stay organized.
A Great Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a great way for any employee to utilize Asana the way they want. It is great at breaking tasks into subtasks and view your task in any way you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't have a small learning curve if you are coming from another project management software, but its not bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are finding a way to share tasks between teams in different offices. It makes it easy for us to streamline deadlines more efficiently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great way if you have a big team with different departments and want to keep track of a lot of tasks. We use it to not let things slip through the cracks.
