Work Abroad, Get Paid – No Hassle, Just Cash!
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is intuitive, and the support is excellent. It’s truly remarkable to have the opportunity to work abroad while still operating under the familiar laws of your home country. They handle everything for you, so there’s no need to worry. This allows you to focus on what matters most: receiving your money! Everything is done with full transparency. I highly recommend it!
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s quite challenging to navigate all the laws in the countries where employees are hired. In my case, some details took longer than expected to be fully resolved. However, the support team was always quick to respond, providing clear answers and maintaining transparency throughout the process, which gave me confidence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Playroll simplifies the complexities of international employment by handling legal compliance across countries. This allows me to focus on my work, knowing everything is managed transparently and efficiently.
Efficient Payroll System with Helpful Support, but Could Use In-App Communication
What do you like best about the product?
From my perspective, the most helpful part of using Playroll is how it simplifies managing payroll and HR tasks from one platform. I have a clear view of all my payrolls, employment documents, and submitted data, which makes it easy to stay organized. Submitting leave requests directly through the platform is also convenient, as it keeps everything centralized.
Another big plus is the dedicated personal contact they assign. This contact has been essential for questions and support, although it would be even better if we could connect directly through the platform instead of only by email. Overall, Playroll makes payroll management smoother, especially for someone needing to stay compliant with my country tax laws while working remotely for a company abroad.

What do you dislike about the product?
From my experience, the least helpful aspect of Playroll is the lack of in-app communication with the assigned personal contact. While it’s great to have a dedicated support person, communicating only through email can feel a bit limited. Having a built-in chat option or messaging within the platform would make it easier to reach out for quick questions or immediate assistance.
Additionally, though the platform is straightforward, there’s always room for improvement in terms of customization or flexibility, such as offering more interactive tools or quicker access to certain features. These improvements would make the experience even better and allow for more seamless communication and payroll management.

Playroll helps me and my employer navigate the complexities of remote work across borders. By managing compliance with my country tax laws and employment regulations, Playroll ensures that everything is legal and organized. Overall, Playroll takes care of the administrative burdens, allowing both me and my employer to focus on our work without worrying about compliance issues.
Excellent service and platform
What do you like best about the product?
Playroll is easy to use and implementation was seamless. The platform itself has some great features, in particular the HR information and the quote generator. Global coverage is extensive and meets our requirements. The platform can also easily integrate easily with BambooHR.. I receive excellent customer support from Amy, who is responsive and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

There are no real dounwsides to this platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Playroll is allowing us to hire in countries where we do no have an entity and therefore extending our global reach and access to other labour markets.

It's easy to use the website, and tracking working hours is simple. The pay split is informative and helps us understand how payroll is taxed.

For the period that I have used this website, everything seems to be in order, so I can't say that there is something I dislike.

Tactical employment considerations for onboarding team members outside of our home region. HR laws vary drastically, and we wanted to make sure we could do things at speed while reasonably addressing HR compliance risk.

What do you like best about the product?
Implementation happened smoothly and quickly. The platform is easy to use and with great integrations with other apps. On every occasion, the customer support team has been very attentive to help us and promptly action.

We are able to employ people from different contries without need to establishing a company entity at the country.
Great, professional experience
What do you like best about the product?
Communication with the Playroll team is fast and clear in South Africa. They consistently pay salaries on time, often earlier than expected. The online portal is easy to use, has good information storage, such as payslips. And their SARS (tax) process is accurate and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cut off date to changes in salary is quite early in the month. However, this is understandable considering their efficiency in paying on time.

Being employed by an international company, and having all local payroll issues taken care of.
