What do you like best about the product?
It is suppose to assist with SOC 2 certification
What do you dislike about the product?
The software is not what they claim it to be. Very complicated and the support is very bad.

Automates the SOC 2 certification process

What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard that had everything we needed in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
We were Beta testers with the Audit that went very well but just like any Beta test some of the communication from the Secureframe platform to the Auditor could have been better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The were fast, cost-effective and Easy to use, with excellent customer Service. They were always very responsive.

What do you like best about the product?
The integrations that are available to pull our data automatically and ensure we have the required practices in place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having more detailed instructions for the failing tests would have been helpful. There was recently an update that has helped alleviate this issue, so progress is being made!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe is helping us know what areas we need to work on within our business to ensure we comply with SOC 2 regulations.

Fantastic platform to achieve your compliance goals

What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe really simplifies the compliance journey, breaking down complex regulations into actionable tasks and remediations. Integrations are powerful and valuable, and they have a lot of resources to jump-start your company's policies and procedures.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few quirks to the platform, and they are still rolling out features to assist with ongoing annual compliance milestones, such as SOC II Type 2. There are a few bugs, but the support teams are quick to respond, including talking with auditors to clear up any questions they have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Achieving and maintaining SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance for our small but growing company. Thanks to them, we've achieved our compliance goals with a light resource commitment.

What do you like best about the product?
I have to mention their Customer Success team first. They really have a plan in place to make sure you succeed.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some minor UI issues, especially around changing settings or making the changes stick.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
automating a lot of our compliance efforts in one place. the controls check list is a super helpful feature to know how close you are to compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe makes it possible for small shops to finally overcome the daunting task of becoming SOC II Type I and Type II compliant.

The best part about picking Secureframe is you'll get access to their customer support team via Slack and recurring meetings as you prepare for your audit.

I also thought the platform was intuitive, which made it easy to track where you and your team are at any point in the process.

If you're looking for a way to become compliant quickly - look no further!
What do you dislike about the product?
You occasionally have to provide a screenshot if you have a product that they haven't yet integrated with. However, the platform makes it incredibly easy to upload and track evidence (screenshots). Overall, they provide a great alternative when/if needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Becoming SOC II Type I and Type II compliant to meet customer requirements.

Promising tools, but falls way short.

What do you like best about the product?
Has an app to run tests against your infrastructure. It has integrations for most major cloud providers, identity providers, HR systems, code repositories, etc. However the testing tool fails in a large number of ways, it doesn't refresh, flags errors that you have no way to resolve (after support calls, it was identified that rate limiting prevents them from properly being able to sync historic data at least with Github).
What do you dislike about the product?
Their tool presents many errors with little to no information on how to resolve them (i.e. says the problem with X Amazon tool in region, but fails to identify WHICH regions it's finding the problems.). Also plenty of false negatives -- fails to sync (even after days) with various providers. Presents error messages that once you resolve them, it displays an entire additional set -- so you never quite know when you might be done, and some errors you cannot clear
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's supposed to help get ready for SOC-2 compliance verification. It also can do HIPPA and other certifications. We are only utilizing it for SOC-2.

Information in multiple sources/difficult to answer compliance related questions

Customer success rep was not able to answer questions and had to schedule separate meetings for engineering experts

What do you like best about the product?
Our Account Manager (Alexis) has been thorough and responsive to every request and question. Always connecting us with the right resources or technical team. She also did amazing pre-launch walk-throughs to assist in resolving any remaining issues
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the early integrations or automation features seemed a bit clunky, so we didn't use them right out of the gate. We would consider using the MDM integration later
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Industry certifications in information security are important due to regulation and insurance needs. Secureframe was the quickest and most efficient way for us to navigate this process without having to build an in-house tool to manage all the required information.

What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe did a great job of connecting with our various tools and helping us understand what's needed to get to a state of compliance. Their support was also exceptional, with regular check-ins and prompts from our account manager and integrating directly into our communication stack with Slack Connect
What do you dislike about the product?
Everywhere the Secureframe product was lacking, we were able to remedy by talking to their support team. We weren't very clear on exactly which vendors / tools were in scope, but a quick call with their rep was able to help us clear this up and we were sailing smoothly shortly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to be SOC2 secure because some of our customers were seeking SOC2 compliance and needed all vendors to be compliant as well. We needed this to close an important deal and secureframe helped us scope out that timeline quickly.
