SecureFrame provided a Streamlined SOC2 Type 2 Process
What do you like best about the product?
The online tool and integrations were very usable and helped us work independently. It was helpful to have the shared Slack channel and Google Drive as well to answer questions and share documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a few bugs with the integrations, several of the work items related to Cloud Providers needed back and forth to resolve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are obtaining SOC2.

What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe treats you like a person, their platform is robust yet clear, and their representatives really work with you one on one to help your progress towards compliance and totally understand what you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some items that need to be added or removed on the backend. But, due to their great connection, it doesn't take long for me to request that edit and them to execute on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are preparing for SOC2 compliance and need the support and guidance of experts. Secureframe has worked with us closely to ensure that we create, update, and verify the right materials and items.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are other players in the space that may be flashier, but connect with Secureframe, ask them questions, and explore your needs.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
I love the one-on-one support we receive with the Secureframe team members. They are quick to respond, knowledgeable, and patient with our questions. As this is our first time getting certified for SOC2 and ISO, there was a lot of confusion I had with this process. However, Alex and Jonathan at Secureframe so kindly walked us through every step of the way! With the Secureframe portal itself, I love how the website is integrated with other platforms (ex. Slack, Google, etc) to see exactly what steps are needed/see what is missing from our company. Secureframe has a fantastic alerting and reporting system that outlines every category of the certification process and lets us know what is needed. It is also an excellent tool for maintenance of SOC2/ISO. I had full trust and confidence in my Secureframe managers and could confidently rely on them if I needed help. Secureframe was instrumental in this entire process and we loved them!
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Secureframe is great at alerting for specific categories, there was still a lot of self-learning that I had to do along the way. It would be great if some education was provided on what the SOC2 categories entail and why (ex. Asset management, Vendor Management, Why "x" policy needs to be in place). It would also be great if Secureframe could provide some alternatives/options for each category for further guidance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the SOC2/ISO process, there was a lot of things we didn't know until we started using Secureframe. There's a lot of mystery and information overload regarding this whole process, so it's nice to have someone who is familiar with all the controls to fall back on. We realized there is a LOT of maintenance that needs to be done with SOC2/ISO and I have confidence that someone at Secureframe will help us answer a question that we may have.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You won't regret choosing Secureframe with your compliance help. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and the website is easy to review.

Some evidence are showing "Needs Work" even though we uploaded the evidence and selected the appropriate category.

What do you like best about the product?
I usually hate cold sales e-mails offering services... I had already spoken to three other SOC readiness firms and had received quotes. I'm so happy I responded to Secureframe's cold outreach and decided to engage with them as opposed to the other firms. They have made our SOC compliance efforts significantly faster and easier. Things I love: 1) Affordable, transparent pricing at a fraction of the price compared to old-school, traditional compliance firms 2) Fast, helpful customer support to all our questions in Slack 3) Actual security experts on their Customer Success team (Kyle is incredible) 4) Easy-to-use dashboard and readiness reports 4) Templates for policies and procedures 5) Great introductions to high-quality and affordable audit firms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Secureframe has been a phenomenal partner to us.

Achieving SOC 2 compliance in a fraction of the time (Secureframe's support, expert advice, integrations, templates and management dashboard are huge time savers). Huge cost savings compared to legacy compliance firms without compromising on quality or high standards.

What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe saved us months of time to get SOC2 audit ready. Everything was super quick with integrations, and the support was amazing to help us go through it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really hard to say anything here, as we really loved every piece of it. Perhaps, there were 1-2 issues with some data upload, that the dev team was quick to fix.

Secureframe helps us accelerate our SOC2 certification process. We saved tons of time within the company and accelerated the process of getting there.
