A CXO’s perspective on vendor security and privacy compliance

  • August 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe has truly transformed our third-party risk management as a CXO who weighs vendors’ security assessments. The AI-driven compliance platform automatically audits 20+ security frameworks on our vendors and produces real-time risk profiles full of actionable insights. The instant evidence validation hascut our new-vendor onboarding time by 60% while boosting the accuracy of the assessment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform needs more privacy laws for large global vendors, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. I would also love to see a more granular access control feature for our internal teams to simplify vendor reviews.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe has helped us cut our vendor due diligence timeline from 4 weeks to 72 hours and reduce our assessment costs by 45%. We now have 100% visibility on our 300+ vendors’ compliance, and the AI-generated risk scores are the go-to metric our board trusts for securing our supply chain. The use of Secureframe is a must for IT leaders who have to keep track of long vendor lists because of the platform’s strategical and operational value..

A Must-Have for Scaling Compliance Efficiently

  • August 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe had a beautiful UI and Microsoft 365 and Okta integration which helped us with operations. It took us days to implement, not months compared to 8+ months of “best effort” at our own homegrown credit heuristics and their customer success team held our hand throughout the process. We use this on a weekly basis for policy reviews and other uses showed automated vendor assessments have cut our procurement due diligence by 40%! Regular updates (for example, support for the new frameworks) we are always ahead with evolving requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
No detailed role-based access controls (RBAC) for subs, so… workaround. Great support but at times will redirect you to the documentation for edge case conditional access policies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe replaced our grout of consultants and spreadsheets by centralizing compliance to a 300-person team. This has cut audit prep time by 60% and helped investors have confidence during due diligence.

Automated Compliance That Lets Us Focus on Innovation

  • August 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As the CTO, Secureframe helped us get SOC 2 compliant for the first time and ISO 27001 compliance easier than I anticipated. The platform offers remarkable ease of use so that even non-technical teams and engineers find it intuitive. Using pre-built integrations with AWS and GitHub from DataDog, we were able to get up and running in less than two weeks. Their customer support are fast to act usually within a few hours. We use Secureframe on a daily basis for evidence collection and the continuous monitoring capabilities ensure we are always audit ready without any manual overhead.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inside the workflow, some of our internal tools work not with integrations on their own but with evidence uploads for them manually, all while core integrations remain butter-smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe removes the need for a compliance team (we save ~200 engineering hours per year) Our clients want to ensure security the more traditional way, with formal reviews and documentation around security policies, practices, etc. so this has helped speed up sales cycles as well by allowing for the automation of evidence collection and continual risk monitoring through our clients.

A CTO’s Perspective on Cloud Compliance

  • August 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe has done wonders for us in helping to automate and streamline our compliance process as a CTO overseeing cloud compliances. By up to 70%, its AI-driven evidence collection and real-time monitoring for SOC 2, ISO 27001 and HIPAA have eliminated manual work. It integrated seamlessly into our own AWS and Azure environments for constant compliance while providing the easiest to read executive dashboard I've seen yet (to keep the board happy).
What do you dislike about the product?
However, while good at standard frameworks, Secureframe could certainly develop further value if support is expanded to more niche or region-specific regulations (e.g., GDPR, FedRAMP). Furthermore, flexibility with reporting would make the solution more appealing to our executive stakeholders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Time savings: Pull audit prep time from weeks to days.
2. Risk Mitigation: Discovered and corrected over 50 misconfigurations proactively in advance of audits.
3. Cost Savings: Lowered compliance cost of processing by 40%

Secureframe makes compliance a growth factor for CTOs in cloud-laden environments

A Trustworthy Friend for Merchant Security & Personal privacy Conformity

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Enter Securframe, a tool needed to qualify and quantify the vendor compliance across every which standard ( SOC 2, iso27001, GDPR etc.) The centralized dashboard of the platform gives you a level of unprecedented visibility to vendor security postures that greatly simplifies due diligence. Integration-driven evidence collection (e.g. AWS, Okta) ease the manual verification effort while customizable questionnaires adhere to our bespoke risk profiles. Excellent customer support, their team are good at grasping intricate compliance nuances and are quick in responding to edge cases. We use this tool weekly to audit our vendors for audit readiness and its policy templating gives me confidence in the consistency of third-party assessments. Very easy to implement; we could onboard critical vendors in days, not weeks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is particularly strong with mainstream cloud services, yet may come up short with certain niche or legacy vendor systems, necessitating manual workarounds. Vendor risk scoring: This could be more detailed, some of the ratings seem a little simplistic for sophisticated privacy assessments And, cross-framework mapping (i.e., SOC 2 controls to GDPR requirements) isn't automated enough for my liking and must sometimes be manually reconciled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Employ Secureframe to automatically validate evidence, maintain compliance records in real-time and navigate through the inefficient process of vendor security reviews. At the end, we had faster procurement cycles (from our side), less spreadsheets to validate manually and could fairly push more turnover through non-compliant vendors. Audit trail alone results in saving of 40% at the time to assess, report standardization providing a uniform reporting across client portfolios. Most importantly it transformed compliance from a check-the-box function to a trust building item for our clients.

Streamlined Compliance Without the Headache

  • August 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We ❤️ Secureframe 🙂They also are one of the biggest helpers for us in terms of compliance & work with Google, Microsoft 365 & 1Password. It is simply one of the most user-friendly platforms with little to no learning curve for your non-technical team members. The work we gave them was completed fully and that made the entire deployment simple enough, with their team supporting proactively to ensure everything had setpoints in place rightly. We used this answer more because it's the soft of evidence gathering that save us many man hours (and is therefore in heavy rotation). All of these features mean that no matter what we do, including the ad proof running through has to policy templates or audit prep — everything is easily changed.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only very minor gripes were some minor points around integration with certain (niche) internal tools but their team helped us out with ways around that and not a single blocker issue. Could use a broader marketplace for third-party applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a fast-growing start-up and we needed something to help us scale SOC 2, ISO 27001 compliance WITHOUT hiring full-time security. With Secureframe, we automatically collect evidence, monitor these risks and keep up-to-date with frameworks—this is enough to reassure our existing clients as well as new investors that our security program well in action.
