Our Multi-Client, Multi-Cloud Consultancy's Standardised Compliance Engine
What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe enables us to operationalize and systematize security compliance across our heterogeneous set of client projects and internal cloud environments. We are consultants and we work in multi-cloud set ups (AWS, Azure, GCP) for different clients with different compliance needs. Secureframe offers a single, centralized place to manage evidence collection, map controls, and maintain audit readiness across all of those. This standardization is huge force multiplier for my team because we don’t have to build custom compliance processes for every new engagement. The fact that it easily integrates into all major cloud providers is a key reason why we chose it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Great for pretty typical frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001, but in some cases quite a bit of heavy lifting is needed to comply with newer/envisioned industry specific regulations that some of our clients seek. This customization can be resource-intensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It resolves the critical issue of scale and consistency. Prior to Secureframe, showing our security posture to prospective clients was a customized, manual process that changed with each proposal. This way, we have a scalable, repeatable method. This is great for us because it dramatically accelerates the sales cycle of our digital services, reduces the compliance workload on our delivery teams, and enhances our branding as a security conscious partner. It’s increasingly a part of our own internal due diligence, and an asset within our pre-sales toolkit.
The Solid Foundation of Trust for Our Financial Wellbeing Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Our sole product is trust, managing sensitive payroll and banking information as a fintech company. Secureframe is the bedrock to that trust. It enables us to show enterprise customers – so their HR, legal and security offices – that our platform has world-class levels of security and compliance. The fact that evidence collection is automated for things like SOC 2, it’s a huge operational efficiency. It allows us to offer (potential) clients real-time, reliable proof of compliance and has helped tip the balance with sign-off for many large B2B contracts. It’s not a compliance tool; they think and know it’s a foundational business accelerator.
What do you dislike about the product?
The website is a significant operational cost to the business. The ROI is obvious when it comes to won deals and mitigated risk, but the price tag demands a strong business case – particularly when you're fighting for budget with customer-facing features. The initial installation also requires concentrated time from key technical staff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It eliminates our single largest commercial hurdle: security due diligence. Prior to Secureframe, vendor assessment process was a long-winded, manual nightmare that delayed our deals by months. And now, we have an efficient and professional process. This in turn has a direct impact on our bottom line, as it speeds up sales cycles while trimming down the legal and operational overhead of client security reviews and strengthening our image as a secure and trustworthy partner for Fortune 500 enterprises.
Secureframe was a startup-friendly choice for achieving SOC2!
What do you like best about the product?
As a security-focused startup building authentication infrastructure, achieving SOC 2 Type II was non-negotiable. Secureframe made the process far less daunting, especially given this was our first SOC2 rodeo! The platform gives us a clear, user-friendly dashboard for tracking compliance progress and ongoing control health, which makes board and investor updates simple and credible. Their automated vendor security assessments and seamless integrations with our cloud environment saved countless hours. Most importantly, their team felt like an extension of ours, guiding us through policy creation, evidence collection, and auditor prep with remarkable responsiveness.
What do you dislike about the product?
A very tiny nitpick: GitHub branch rule tracking sometimes flags “failures” on brand new repos before any files or rules exist. Tweaking the logic for repo setup timing would smooth this out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe helped us get SOC 2 ready so we could confidently answer existing customer and new prospect questions about compliance, while also tightening our own internal operations.
Simplified Our Compliance Journey Dramatically
What do you like best about the product?
The support from the customer service team is top-notch, and they held our hands (cross-functional team) throughout. What I also liked about the platform was how user-friendly it was. I'm not technical, but to manage tasks and track progress, for example, for controls related ot Google Workspace or Jira, the interface was intuitive and transparent.
What do you dislike about the product?
You may overlook the reminders of due tasks just depending on email. It would be nice if alerts via Slack were a bit more integrated when it comes to tasks so they’re more visible for my team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My vision as a Project Manager is to leading complex projects. “Secureframe provided the order and guidance that we so desperately needed, as this was our first time going through an ISO 27001 certification. It removed all the guesswork and manual spreadsheets, and provided me with one source of truth about our state of compliance. This was critical for tracking between our tech team on Jira, and the rest of the company through Google Workspace, so we could actually get this entire process manageable and efficient.
Secureframe Makes Third Party Risk Easy to Manage.
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use, even if you're not super technical. We love the built in templates and how it automates vendor checks. Customer support has been great and it works well with our other tools. Getting started was smooth thanks to their helpful team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of learning curve at first because there are so many features. Some parts like customizing questionnaires, cloud be more flexible. The interface cloud also use small tweaks to make it easier to navigate for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe helped us take control of how we manage third party and supplier risk. Before, things were manual and scattered. Now we have one place to track everything, automate vendor reviews, and stay on top of compliance. It saves us time and gives us a clear view of our vendor risk levels.
Secureframe A Reliable Partner For Vendor Security and Privacy Assessments
What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe customer support is genuinely one of the best parts. The team is friendly, quick to respond and really knows their stuff. The platform is also super easy to use, with features that actually make sense and fit into workflow. Setup was smooth and it integrates well with the tools we already use. You can tell they care about making the experience better over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we first stared, some of the template felt a bit too board for how we work, so we had to tweak things to better suit our vendor processes. It took a bit of extra effort, but once everything was customized things ran smoothly. A bit more flexibility upfront would've made setup eve easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe made it so much easier for us to handle vendor security and privacy assessments at LawVu. We used to spend way too much time managing compliance across vendors, but their platform brought order and clarity to process. It saved our team a lot of time and et us focus more on our core work software development.
Our Cloud Compliance Program’s Central Nervous System
What do you like best about the product?
The app works as the lightning rod for our compliance initiative, that is exclusively geared towards securing our Salesforce ecosystem. The platform’s support to automatically gather and map all evidence from Salesforce (user access reviews, login audits, configuration settings) to specific SOC 2 /ISO 27001 controls is outstanding. This automation has eliminated hundreds of hours of manual work as evidence collection was conducted in the past. Integration was a breeze and the real-time view it gives us into our compliance posture is critical for reporting to the board and running audit engagements effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
The out of the box integrations are good, onboarding the platform to understand certain of our custom Salesforce security and sharing settings required initial input from us. It would be helpful to see additional ways to handle complete out-of-the-box integrations are good; however, onboarding the platform to understand certain of our x CRM setups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe addresses the key challenge of scaling and precision in cloud compliance. Although our reliance on Salesforce has been increasing, manually vouching for the security of our CRM data simply didn't scale for us. Secureframe makes this process automated, ensuring that we are always assured that customer data is secure. This is beneficial for our business because it saves time in audit preparation, reduces risk, and gives confidence to our sales and service teams that the platform they sell and support is secure and compliant.
Scaling to Secure the Connected Fitness Experience
What do you like best about the product?
And our infrastructure is very complex, covering hardware, mobile apps and video streaming. That Secureframe can weave compliance together in these various domains is powerful. With how smoothly Cider integrates into our AWS ecosystem and CI/CD pipelines, we are able to enforce these same security controls at every level of our delivery process from code commit down to a streamed workout played within a member's home. The ability to automatically obtain evidence for the thousands of IOT devices we have in our network is critical for scaling out our compliance efforts in a dependable manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a software and cloud platform predominantly. We have had to create a few custom integrations in order to support all of our unique security controls around our hardware devices and transferring that data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It unifies security and solves the problem of siloed security. Previously, there were a variety of teams managing compliance across different parts of our ecosystem. Secureframe is the source of truth. This provides our members with a seamless and secure experience, whether they’re using the app, the bike or our web platform, which is critical to maintaining trust in our brand.
Powerful sales acceleration tool that makes it easy for selling teams to do the results they need.
What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe has been one of our most effective sales enablers. In today’s market, a thorough security review has become a baseline requirement for any enterprise sales cycle. Before we adopted Secureframe, these reviews created significant bottlenecks, with deals delayed for weeks as my team scrambled to answer lengthy questionnaires. Now, with the Third-Party Risk Management module, we can take a proactive approach by sending prospects a secure, branded link that demonstrates our compliance status, complete with automated evidence requests and risk scores. This has allowed us to shorten the sales cycle considerably and establish trust right away, enabling us to focus on our value proposition instead of getting bogged down in security paperwork.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sales structure is excellent. While Wade is correct, I find that the reports are often too technical. I would appreciate having more 'executive summary' options that I could share with non-technical buyers, giving them a high-level overview of what we do without overwhelming them with technical details.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This solution addresses the direct challenge of 'security friction' in the sales process. It turns what was once a defensive, reactive task into a proactive competitive advantage. As a result, we are now able to close deals more quickly, since we can more effectively demonstrate our commitment to security compared to organizations that still rely on manual, less dependable workflows. This improvement has a noticeable impact on both our revenue velocity and our win rates.
Streamlined SOC 2 Compliance with Helpful Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
I really value the integrations with our vendors and tools, as they make it easier to automatically monitor compliance. Having everything connected in one place streamlines our process and saves time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The distinction between tests and tasks can feel a bit redundant, and it can be confusing when certain tests show as not in compliance while the broader section still appears compliant. It would also be helpful if the platform made it clearer which items are truly required for SOC 2 versus which are optional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe provides a centralized framework for managing SOC 2. It gives us one place to track requirements, monitor progress, and check off tasks, which has made our compliance process more organized and manageable.
