Great platform, response support, and attentive sales
What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe's automated compliance platform makes preparing for our SOC 2 audit achievable using their automated and manual tests. They break down the criteria into bite-sized tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the automated tests don't match our environment and require overrides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful aspect of Secureframe is having a game plan to work on SOC2. It's daunting to start from scratch... where to start, what's my progress, can I automate any of it? Past that, having experts to consult with along the way, at any time, is phenomenal. They're all very knowledgeable and customer service oriented.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were no major obstacles we encountered. We achieved SOC2 Type 2 very early in our company's history.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Achieving SOC2 Type 2 was critical for customer acceptance as a startup. The automated integrations is massively beneficial, as you know your compliance status at any time. If infrastructure or processes change at any point, you can validate those against the Secureframe integrations without any additional consulting.
Great team of people - Product checks a lot of boxes - UI could use some refinement
What do you like best about the product?
Where the product may lack, SecureFrame more than makes up for in their customer success team members and sales team helping set you up for success.
Having worked with hundreds of SaaS vendors, I'll take a product that has shortcomings but is supported by a great team any day of the week over a great product with a terrible support experience when I need help most.
SecureFrame does a great job consolidating and automating so much of the minutia associated with compliance workstreams. They offer solutions to consolidate reporting functionality and will help check a ton (if not all) of the boxes that you need for generating content and trainings, as well as gathering evidence and generating reports to provide to your auditors. Within the scope of what they do, they do it super well.

SecureFrame's UI can be a bit confusing initially. I have struggled to understand where to find settings and configurations without the help of documentation or support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use SecureFrame for monitoring, reporting, and automatically gathering evidence for SOC2 compliance reporting. It provides a single pane of glass to provide our auditors access to see whether or not we're compliant to our SOC2 Type2 controls
The speed and detail of the process was excellent.
What do you like best about the product?
The platform overall is user friendly even for someone who would not be tech heavy - the weekly calls with our supervisor made it easier to navigate. I have no experience of competitors so would not be in a position to comment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it was difficult to work out how to upload revised documents - it would probably be useful to have a more in depth first meeting on how to use the platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Achieving SOC 2 Type 1 and 2 certification and ISO 27001 certification in a relatively easy way for a company like ours which is resource limited. It is too early to tell if business performance has improved but the feedback from clients is that certification is critical for contract winning.
It has straightforward functionality that is simple to navigate.
What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe has a fantastic side menu that organizes evidence into structured categories so that it is easy to find and review. Additionally, there is a wonderful feature that allows you to search control IDs or simple word phrases that will help you find specific evidence resources if you can't find them on the side navigation bar.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't easy to navigate the evidence room because the evidence resources do not always have previews, have basic names, or are linked to a controls that need them as evidence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe links to appropriate integrations that organizations use, saving them time. Also, Secureframe uses these integrations to generate easy-to-read reports that auditors can use as evidence.
Excellent Audit Preparation
What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe knows what they're doing. When it comes to compliance they don't leave their customers in the dark; they work closely with you to ensure you're prepared to succeed. In my experience, if you find standards like SOC 2 and ISO daunting (or others), the people at Secureframe will make it clear and straightforward. If you have years of experience, Secureframe complements and streamlines your efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish controls exported out of Secureframe came organized into more common trust ids (like CC for SOC 2).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an auditor, Secureframe makes all of the difference. They take much of the traditional heavy lift and mystery out of compliance, making it realistic for everyone.
Makes a painful process exceedingly less painful
What do you like best about the product?
The ease with which failing tests can be cured with tips and templates. The integrations make it much easier to manage it all. Their support is great as well for figuring out how to solve some issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to get your whole team to accept the policies on a rolling basis, but I'm not sure this is a Secureframe problem. It just makes the problem more obvious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC 2 Type 1 compliance. It's a real slew of issues to tackle and Secureframe ensures you don't miss any. They also have future compliance needs we're looking to utilize soon.
Good automated solution for security and compliance reviews
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to set up and with cloud resources. Gives good reports and advice on potential security holes in the infrastructure. The categorization of aspects SecureFrame is checking makes sense and is is nicely divided into levels which can be used for priorization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes security checks are very specific due to their automated nature. Having an alternative approach might be ignored, making checks red. This can be overcome by providing manual proof though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping the business and it's infrastructure secure. Giving advice and automated tips about cloud infrastructure, best practices and approaches that need to be taken to have confidence in the software ecosystem we are building.
Great platform, great team
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate their consistently kind and responsive team, from sales to account manager, that accommodated our needs from the beginning. The platform is clean, easy to follow, well-integrated with vendor solutions, and has phenomenal policy templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform does have some bugs and odd behaviors, and there is no room to negotiate the audit package price.

Helping us go through SOC2 compliance fast and with support, which is critical for our business to proceed with customers.

What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe is a handy tool for streamlining our compliance needs. Secureframe is excellent at highlighting AND allowing us to address a variety of security-related policies. Being able to easily mitigate or resolve an issue from the dashboard is key to a useful solution, and SF delivers. Also, their support is excellent!
What do you dislike about the product?
It could use firmer triaging rules to help address issues in the proper order. If more than a handful of items are out of compliance, triaging can become a handful. But overall, happy with the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe helps us stay compliant with SOCII rules and other frameworks. It makes it easy to keep on top of our policies.
