Excellent product that helps us prepare for SOC2 certification
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, integrations, and streamlines the process of becoming SOC2 certifified.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't had any dislikes yet, other than the amount of technical work it indexed for us to do, as part of our path to become SOC2 certified.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SecureFrame is greatly expiditing and helping us become SOC2 certified.
Streamlining Compliance and Enhancing Security
What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe has an intuitive interface that facilitates easy policy acceptance during employee onboarding, fostering a culture of security awareness from day one.
The tool's real strength lies in its ability to guide teams through compliance requirements. Its tests and controls offer actionable insights, highlighting areas that need attention for specific compliance frameworks (they have quite a big list of frameworks they support). This proactive approach empowers efficient gap resolution, maintaining a robust security stance.
Secureframe's data management capability enables organized storage of compliance-related data, ensuring swift and effective audits, which makes the audit process very smooth for both parties.

What do you dislike about the product?
Reflecting on my experience with Secureframe, I find it hard to identify any significant dislikes.
There is only a minor feature enhancement that we've suggested to the Secureframe team. Specifically, we proposed to have a training and policy accepted on the date when the last task was done by the team member. This would simplify the annual training tasks, assigning them all on a single day during the next cycle. Our success manager took our feedback to proceed to the product team as well as came back to us with some solutions on how we could solve it using available features. I'd like to emphasize that this is a small matter in the grand scheme of our positive experience with Secureframe.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple and gives a fair overview of the whole process. Helped us out with both SOC2 Type 1 and Type 2.
What do you dislike about the product?
We missed a few things on populating default controls.

Its making sure we are compliant with SOC2.
Compliance the easy way!
What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe is ease to use, the team supporting you are fantastic. The team are really responsive and are the guiding hands you need. The intergrations and keeping all our complaince in one place makes it so much easier to manage with our small team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific. Sometimes it's not obvious where things are, but it's very minor. Some integrations are missing, from my prospective, but they take the feedback and add items to their roadmpa.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing our SOC2 Type 2 implementation.
Secureframe made it possible to achieve SOC2 as a small startup
What do you like best about the product?
As a small startup, Secureframe gives us tracking and lets us know at all times what we need to do to be audit-ready. I manage software, hardware, and company operations, and wouldn't be able to do SOC2 each year if Secureframe didn't keep track of readiness for me. The system is clear, well-categorized, and I know what I need to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't really downsides. As a young company, Secureframe has been adding features over time and has become a much more mature platform over the several years I've been a customer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe ensures not just that we understand our cloud security -- we use other tools for that too, but that our company processes and employee onboarding are auditable, compliant with best practices, and that I can document everything. We use it as our policy registry, risk register. Since we keep everything there, we never find halfway through the year that there is a bunch of work to do that we didn't know about.

After having gone through multiple years of SOC 2 Type 2 review, we have realized this software is the only way to do it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration / connection refresh times have gotten much better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helped us aggregate all of our steps for SOC 2 compliance readiness so we had one source to look at as we worked through certification.
Well-structured, great integrations support and excellent customer service
What do you like best about the product?
Customer experience! Not just with the UI and platform but also with the responsive support from its highly knowledgeable team. They make compliance, look cool!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. Support for more integrations would definitely help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying security and compliance gaps in our Azure cloud architecture, while providing cost effective recommendations on tools and platforms that help us bridge the gaps and move towards a SoC2 and HIPAA compliant organization.
Convenient solution for SOC 2 compliance
What do you like best about the product?
The support has been great. There are inevitably a lot of questions and our CSM has been extremely responsive in helping us problem solve and manage the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some resources that would be helpful for them to develop so that we can better navigate the process ourselves in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring we maintain SOC2 compliance which is a necessity operating a fintech company that works with regulated financial institutions.
Intuitive tool that gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
This is the reccomended tool for getting your first SOC 2 or ISO27001 cert, or both. If our company only had those two engagements in scope every year I would recommend this tool every time. It's only getting better feature wise and Jake Dekker, my CSM, was unreal at support. They get compliance and they priced very well in this busy GRC space.
What do you dislike about the product?
No api.. but not the end of the world. Some nuanced issues with pass / fail test logic but nothing crazy as far as dislikes. You can always override the pass / fail logic manually or by uploading your own evidence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Putting evidence into the right places for a SOC 2 Type 2 audit. If you get this tool to 100% readiness and know what your doing with the evidence to some extent, this will make a SOC 2 Type 2 audit go by with a breeze. Note, my experience was not with a big 4 firm doing the audit.
A Must-have for Companies Looking to be Compliant
What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe allows your organization to get a jump-start on compliance. Even if you are already SOC 2 or ISO compliant, moving to Secureframe will reduce the amount of time spent on reviewing controls, collecting evidence, and trying to figure out if your controls will satisfy the frameworks criteria.
Secureframe comes with predefined controls, already mapped to the frameworks' requirements, and these controls are written with security in mind, meaning they will satisfy both your SOC 2 requirements, as well as your security requirements from ISO or NIST. Additionally, the platform comes with well-written policies that you are free to use if it suits your organization. These policies are already writtent to satisfy the controls, and you just need to onboard your employees to sign them.
After completing the onboarding with Secureframe, you are already 50% through completing a SOC 2 audit, which through one of Secureframe's partner firms, will utilize the platform alongside you.

I believe the following items are on the roadmap, but they currently are not implemented in the platform:

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe speeds up and simplifies the compliance process, by taking spreadsheets out of the loop. The platform contains all your controls, tests, and evidence, all in one place. The platform also allows for auditing vendors easily and comes with the ability to help secure your cloud infrastructure if you choose to enable this feature.
