Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive to use for users. Covers most of the bases needed as a PLM
What do you dislike about the product?
Admin functions can be limited to change or remove some customizations.

We have custom made parts management databases that are becoming difficult to maintain. A cloud system works for teams around the world without having to be on VPN or corp domains.

User friendly not complex and quick implementation process

request for new features takes a lot of time to implement if any.

Complex Product life cycle management challenges.

User friendly not complex and quick implementation process
Very helpful in managing and improving our BOM management.

Easy to navigate through. Changes are easily trackable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is sometimes trouble with having a good overview of products/configurations. Perhaps a visual representation would be more helpful than a list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving & improving BOM errors. Overall quality. Increasing traceability. We are allowing easier expansion of market variants.

Make use of the training space.
My Experience with Arena as a QMS is the best one Ive used so far.
What do you like best about the product?
I like Arena because of the interface. I think the design is lightyears ahead of ETQ Reliance. ETQ Reliance was made by developers who have never used their own product where every text entry and workflow was counter-intuitive; You couldn't even have multiple tabs open. Here in Arena, Everything is made straightforward. It is easy to navigate and changes are easy to make.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things could be improved, such as the permissions. I've ran into a few cases where I've edited "in production" revisions, and there is no way to revert the changes done if changes were made by accident. One thing I would like to see is making batch edits where multiple items can be edited at one time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problems that we are solving revolve around product verification.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly suggest this service due to the easy navigation and clean user interface. You can tell that the designers have put a lot of effort into making it very user friendly. Again, I have used ETQ reliance at another company and it was like working with hand tied behind my back. Nothing, that program was about made any sense. The fact that you cant have multiple browser tabs open, the fact that you couldnt select text. Arena is a breathe of fresh air, and according to coworkers, its what all the big successful companies use.

Scalability and customization capabilities can be a limitation at times.

The system is a relatively easy platform to use but buggy at times.
What do you dislike about the product?
SmartLinks have issues when not properly logged out of various access points.

We enjoy the ability to have controlled document links so that everyone has the most up-to-date files.
the connection is TRASH. you should not be happy about it. other than that it works pretty good.

the slow connection is the worst. sometimes it also doesnt allow me to do something, then i refresh and it does ( and nothing else changed)

You always have the most updated document and the working revision. In addition, you can customize Arena to your needs and manage Quality processes, approvals, etc....

What do you like best about the product?
Our help team that consisted of Frank Farls and Mitch Mitchell was amazing. Always ready to help me with any small issue and look for solutions to my problems. Also I like how intuitive Arena is. It looks good and has a lot of helpful functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is little modality. If there is a feature that I would like but doesnt exist for me, then it most likely wont, because everyone uses the same arena.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting up our BOM in an easy to follow sheet. Previously we had our BOM in excel and it was always hard to keep track of everything. The BOM view and item information you can add is extremely helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look into its features and make sure it fits your needs. Very good for smaller firms that dont have the capacity to have their own servers or PLM team.
