What do you dislike about the product?
Can become a more complete system by integrating availability & Lifecycle informaiton of BOM parts, Support for Requirement management and traceabilty, Itegration with ECAD/MCAD tools to manage BOMs & changes without manual entry would help. Though some integration is availble, it comes at high cost and is not much controllable.
Also work flow & inventory management can be added to work as a complete ERP system

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are managing our QMS trainings, QMS templates and file versions in Arena for the medical projects. Arena helps us with maintaining these items in a structured format and managing approvals for these files. We are also managing the electronics BOM in this tool
Could be good, but unfortunatly is just so bad
What do you like best about the product?
it COULD be extremely helpful, however the interface, lack of any usefull tools, and refusal of the Arena team to improve the product makes it just painfull to use.

Search function is the worst ever invented by man
No way to sort, filter, organize anything
Integration is bad
Exports are bad
Imports are terrible

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I guess it does give us a place to store a bunch of into... that is neato.
But unfortunatly it comes with a very poor interface, terrible search/sort/filtering tools, so finding, using, comparing the data in the system, is orders of magnitude more difficult that it could/should be. (AKA get ready to do everythign in Excel, that Arena should do natively).

The solution is powerful, easy to use, has transformed how we manage design and quality processes.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Arena PLM & QMS is its comprehensive approach. The platform allows us to efficiently manage the entire product lifecycle and quality, from conception to production. The visibility it provides into project status, its ability to manage changes, and its seamless integration with other systems have been a game-changer for us.
Its ability to enhance team collaboration is unmatched, making it easier to innovate and launch high-quality products to the market.

What do you dislike about the product?
While it is an excellent tool, I would like to see more customization options in certain reports and dashboards. Additionally, the initial learning curve can be a bit steep for new users, although the available support and training help to overcome this quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its ability to centralize collaboration among our teams allows us to respond quickly to any need for change and ensure that our products not only meet regulations but are also of the highest quality. Thanks to Arena PLM & QMS, we have improved efficiency, reduced development time, and ensured that every product we manufacture is market-ready and, most importantly, safe for patients.

Additionally, the customer support team is responsive and knowledgeable, providing timely assistance whenever needed. Overall, the frequent updates and continuous improvements also show that Arena is committed to staying ahead in the industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area for improvement is the integration with some external tools, which can be a bit cumbersome at times. While Arena offers a broad range of features, it can feel overwhelming, especially for users who only need to access a few specific functionalities regularly. Although the customer support is helpful, there are moments when resolving complex issues takes longer than expected. Lastly, the frequency of use can be a challenge, as the extensive features require consistent engagement to fully leverage the system's capabilities, which may not always align with the team's workload.

Additionally, the platform's robust BOM management capabilities allow for precise tracking of parts and materials, which significantly improves accuracy and reduces the time spent on manual updates. Overall, Arena PLM & QMS enhances productivity and ensures compliance, ultimately contributing to smoother project execution.

In general it's a very organized and integrated way to work in the organization.

Satisfactorily integrates information from different areas. It is intuitive and easy to use, with a very good search engine. Excellent help and support system.

Not very flexible in certain things and lack customization options.

Solves the problem of storing information and transferring it between relevant people and departments.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of Implementation, the Frequency of Use is really high in my job and I have not had big issues so far, I really like the number of features and the Ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have complaints about the Arena by itself, I think the only issue we have is the integration with our ERP, but i think is more related to the way the system was integrated.
