Comprehensive UI
What do you like best about the product?
I love the general UI of Arena PLM. The use of dropdown menus and tabs allow for a comprehensive navigation and overall view of the workspace. The advanced search is greatly helpful and straighforward in creating filtered searches based on various attributes (including custom ones). The saved searches, bookmarks, and layouts further customizes my experience with the UI. My customer success coach has been integral to helping me maximize the system's features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I use Arena on a daily basis, so I've had a lot of time exploring than most people in our company. Although I enjoy Arena's UI, it did take some time familiarizing myself with the workspace and navigation, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes a very powerful tool. It would be nice to have additional workspace settings that can be customizable, as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been our primary system for our QMS (Document Control, Change orders, and training.) Transitioning from a paper-based system to Arena has been wonderful and rewarding. Having our documents in one database, where we can access its history in one system has been great. Managing and resolving reviews, approvals, releases, and training in a cloud-based system allows our employees to access what they need immediately and on-the-go. Our QMS process become more efficient when we spend less time worrying over paper-documents that many may not have acccess to right away.
Most User Friendly PLM
What do you like best about the product?
I also liked the adaptability of the configuration, which allowed us to customize the system to meet our unique needs, it make its very easy to roll out any new implmentations. This flexibility was a key factor in our decision to purchase this software.
Integrations are easy from the Arenan side once you understand the export file data, numberous systems have been integrated. This sysem has been user friendly due to the web design, and also being a cloud site.
This is a daily use tool for our entire compnay, the front runner for mamanging all of our engineering data.
Our personal Success Coach is extremely helpful, flexable and responsive.

What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of options for creating linkages that are more controlled and searchable for documents. Item to Item references is the only official option and is not as flexable as I would like.
Lack of viewablity for finding effected Items for Changes being processed, wouldlike to see a more itemmized list of effected documents and assemblies ratehr than just top levels.
Reports world is not always cabable of pulling the data I need, so more search fuunctions would be nice when trying to filter through reports.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining compliace to customer requirement ss for COnfiguration Managment, Change Control and documenta control. For QMS would be maintaining all history of part or supplier issues. Providing clear process and orgainization along with documentation.
Simple, straightforward PLM with Lifecycle documentation, revision control
What do you like best about the product?
Arena is pretty straightforward to use, There are more than adequate options for customizing what you need for PLM documentation and revision tracking. Lifecycle phases are also present to help differentiate between "In Design" or "In Production" phases. Adding part categories is also pretty simple. Integration was pretty simple - rolling from our previous PLM to Arena wasn't too bad a process.
What do you dislike about the product?
As modular as Arena is, at times it can be difficult to change some options that were previously setup. Some things would require an update to the PLM package itself by Arena as a rolled out update and it may be a hassle to have to wait for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Part traceability and revision tracking - Arena does a pretty good job of handling our needs for these main things.
Useful to track the progress of a project

The dashbord is easy to navigate allowing for easy access to files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to see all projects that are open in the company in one view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arena integrates PLM and QMS into a single cloud-native platform. This streamlines collaboration, increases visibility, and ensures consistency across the entire product lifecycle.
Arena PLM just plain works
What do you like best about the product?
Arena PLM works out of the box. It is intuitive and easy to teach users. As an Arena PLM Administrator I find the Help menu invaluable as a resource for my users to gain a greater understanding of the capabilites. When I have a question about further functionality, Customer Support is always ready to give quick feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only issue is the lack of Out of the Box integration with SolidWorks PDM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arena PLM is giving us control of our BOMs, Documents, and Changes.
Incredibly versatile and customizable
What do you like best about the product?
The support team is very responsive, and the system itself is very versatile and easy to configure.
What do you dislike about the product?
We'd appreciate a little more quidance in how others use the system. There's so much customization, it's difficult to feel confident in how optimized our configuration is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation, having a single source of truth for our engineers and vendors. This redues the stress on our team and makes collaborating with our vendors much easier.
Flexible Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to use even for a new hire. Though it is new it helped me get faster on the tool.

Should be little more organized like SAP

Reliable system with a few quirks
What do you like best about the product?
Wide variety of searchable filters which making finding a specific (known) document easy and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature seems to glitch out at times and reuse a previous search when attempting new searches, thus returning 0 results. The "training" section is also rather difficult to navigate as it does not show a completion of said training unless you click on that training number.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our documentation, training and NC initiation procedures are utilized by Arena and its inner components. It is combinding several previously used services into one platform. Depedning on the user, the priviledges on Arena may change.
Great for start ups looking to start from scratch
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplified UI and ease of creating new processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature could use work. Currently you have to select what type of document to search before typing it and it only works well when you select both the type of document and the sarch field first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Good traceability of manufacturing during an audit. Easy to cross link records and documents to parts of the BOM.
Smooth integration and operation
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of adaptability to different implementations. Integrations are also very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that automations are currently only availble for the qualtiy module. Need to expand the project module capabilities.

Paperless using templates. Document control system is amazing and the ability to use QR codes for teams to get to specific documents.
