Mendix: The low code platform
What do you like best about the product?
Mendix is a low code platform in which we can simply just drag and drop instead to writing code, that's why it is easy to use and also to integrate with other applications
What do you dislike about the product?
Less support available for nosql databases
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using mendix, it is very easy and fast to develop an application with just drag and drop features.
I have used the block programming for work

It is is intuitive and makes for a fast upload to new ysers

Sometimes getting what I want out it when I am looking for something custom takes more work than I would like

Development workflow and easy to use. Mendix Academy is best place to grow know-how and prepare for certification.
What do you dislike about the product?
NoSQL databases only to be bound with REST calls. It would be great to have specific connectors for that

Trying to build interface platform to connect hardware for real-time data acquisition
Very less code, fast, easy to use, easy to integrate new features
What do you like best about the product?
Very less code, fast, easy to use, easy to implement and integrate any third party api, easy to create rest api's, and layout structured using various tools like layout grid, container, table. Customer support is great, you will get quicker response. I am using this for developing client applications of various domain. I have used mendix to create ERP level application. Frequency of use of existing and marketplace module makes your application more interactive and functional. Use of Java actions makes your applicaiton futuristic.
What do you dislike about the product?
We can not change session object like java or php. Large data set is lowers the performance of the application. We cannot handle page parameters on condition on page it self rather with the use of nanoflow or microflow. We can not export or reuse domain model in another application, we have to export entire module
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Day to day business operations automations helps to reduce the manual interventions in the business operation process which gives many accuracy in time constraints.

What do you like best about the product?
There are plenty of the Acccelarators and Add ons for the integration with the top most industry solutions of ERP , Learning and Quality solutions. IT is easy to design and demo to customers in the mfg industry
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing Cost. It would be great if the siemens has better licesing options and better solutions to match with the middle level customers who are in the process of growing mfg world.

Not all things are that easy or possible. The same can be said for High-Code or other application platforms. But not everything that you might want with Mendix is possible.
I do expect Mendix to expand their capabilities with every updating. Making the application building experience ever easier.

Mendix solves many issues. But the two main problems are:
- Speed: compared to other platforms or using just coding. Mendix delivers more value way faster.
-Effectiveness: Compared to buying a software and then building the last 20% to make it a perfect fit. Almost 80% of the time using Mendix and a custom application will do a better job faster.
