HubSpot Just Makes Sense

  • October 09, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
If you’re running marketing campaigns, doing lead‑nurturing, want a clean system that ties in with sales and service, HubSpot Marketing Hub is one of the best bets out there. Just make sure you plan ahead for when you’ll need the paid or premium features, so you aren’t surprised by cost or limitations
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get expensive quickly. As soon as you need more advanced features, more contacts, or more team members, the cost scales up fast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before HubSpot, we were piecing together different tools for email, forms, landing pages, and reporting, and none of it really worked well without issues. Now everything’s in one place, and it’s actually easy to use. We’ve been able to automate a lot of manual tasks, like follow-ups and lead nurturing, which saves time and headache. It also helped us better understand what’s working in our marketing, so we can focus our efforts where they matter most.

Definitely an improvement on Salesforce, some small issues here and there

What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is a big improvement over Salesforce, which I used in a previous role. HubSpot is more intuitive and easier to use. It also has a more attractive interface. I use it every day in my marketing role.
What do you dislike about the product?
Permissions are tricky - this is more of a feature of our org, but the ability to set contacts as marketing contacts is very locked down and slows our workflow. Also, when creating a workflow, if you want to add people to a list, you can't create the list in the moment - you have to navigate away and set up the list separately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of visibility over customer information and communications. HubSpot allows us to manage email and social comms to customers, record and track customer information, and create forms, lists, and workflows in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot's Marketing Hub has helped our organization achieve our marketing objectives by offering a platform rich in features and excellent customer support. I highly recommend HubSpot to my peers and colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing I dislike is the Marketing Email window on smaller screens. I am unable to increase the height of the emails table. Other than that, no complaints!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing Hub is helping us reach and engage with our members and build stronger customer relationships, something we were lacking before Marketing Hub.

Great for sales and revenue insights

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about HubSpot Marketing Hub is how it manages to combine user-friendly simplicity with robust capabilities. The platform streamlines campaign management, workflow automation, and personalized outreach, all without becoming too complex or technical. I find it particularly valuable that its automation features still maintain a personal touch, so customers don’t feel like they’re just getting generic communications. The reporting tools also stand out, providing clear insights into what’s effective and what isn’t, which allows me to make quick adjustments and improvements. Additionally, its seamless integration with other tools ensures that marketing efforts are closely connected with sales and service, making teamwork much more efficient. In the end, HubSpot Marketing Hub enables me to market more intelligently and efficiently, giving me more time to focus on creativity and strategic planning. Deal creation
What do you dislike about the product?
What I find challenging about HubSpot Marketing Hub is that many of the more advanced features either require a significant learning curve or are only available in the higher-priced plans. Although the main tools are generally easy to use, exploring deeper customization, advanced reporting, or more complex automation can sometimes feel less straightforward than expected. At times, the platform can seem overwhelming because it offers such a wide range of capabilities, making it take longer to determine the most effective setup. Additionally, small frustrations—such as occasional inflexibility in design templates or having to click through several steps to complete a simple task—can accumulate over time. While none of these issues are dealbreakers, they can slow you down when you need to work quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot Marketing Hub is solving the challenge of managing multiple marketing efforts in one place. Instead of juggling different platforms for email, social media, lead tracking, and analytics, everything is centralized, which saves time and reduces complexity. It also solves the problem of disconnected data—by integrating marketing with sales and service, it gives me a clear view of the customer journey from first touch to conversion. The automation tools help address the problem of scalability, allowing me to nurture leads and stay engaged with prospects without manually managing every step. The biggest benefit is efficiency and focus: I can spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time on strategy, creativity, and building stronger relationships with customers.

Solid free tool for organizing and supporting campaign workflows.

What do you like best about the product?
The custom views for the contact and company pages. I have saved view that filters for contacts with a recent website visit activity log.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limitation of automation features and the lack of access to more advance AI tools in the free plan, such as the email automation. I have to export lists manually since workflows are locked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the free live chat feature and simple forms. It lets us capture web leads directly into the CRM and assign them to a rep using the simple rotation feature built into the free forms.

What do you like best about the product?
This CRM was quite comprehensive, which was exactly what I needed to help manage my small business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price was higher than I was comfortable with, and I found the product somewhat complicated to use—even though I consider myself quite tech savvy, with more than 40 years of experience in IT.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like a communication history with clients as well a setting up marketing automation.

Easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
The Hubspot Marketing Hub is user friendly and intuitive. I use it mainly the marketing email section and I love that it has an integration with Stripo and can update an email without needing to stop the sending and upload a new version.

We also use the forms and I like that is flexible and can be used for many use cases.

We also connected our Google account and mainly use the Events.

Customer support is super helpful and usually is knowledgeable. I had a really good experience with them recently, when they went above and beyond to help as as fast as they could with an urgent problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some edits are not available to templates exported from Stripo, which results in a little back-and-forth between the 2 platforms.

The forms should have way more customization options to stay on brand. We need development help to get them to a point to be able to publish on our website.

I wish Google Events could be based on lists (segments) as well, not only lifecycle stage change or form submission, because we have a few use-cases where these do not apply.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Offers and easy to use, but complex solution for marketing nurture flows. The educational resources are also very good for any level of expertise.
