Better alternative to Marketo - from Marketo Certified user
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use. Everything is laid out very nicely, and most features have a walkthrough and self-service guide.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could organize landing pages into folders, and that marking emails as "operational" wasn't an added feature. Also wish Hubspot was able to integrate better with webinar platforms and have the status' auto-update like it can in Marketo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love the topics clusters tool. We have fully built this out in our instance and It really helped with how we better organized and structured our content and overarching themes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The customer support with Hubspot could run circles around any support Marketo users would get. And I know from experience.

What do you like best about the product?
It is currently considered the best system for managing automation and marketing actions on the market. It has specialized and quality support, provides courses and an academy that is super interactive and with an excellent quality.
Its automation are organized and have a clean and intuitive layout for creating LPs and Forms, not to mention the ease of altering by source code.

What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't have any problems or difficulties when using the system, however its value is considerably high and unfeasible for small and medium companies. Your discounts are a big incentive, but they get cut too quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It made it possible to create marketing automation, Lps and forms to capture leads.
I can send maketing and newsletter emails to my clients and inform them of promotions and make smart lead captures.

A tool that puts everything out front. Manage your contacts and your work easily.
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot offers a great tool for contact management and organization. A great tool for tracking sales cadences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really not much to dislike. The interface takes a bit to getting used to, but beyond that, it works quite well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to track the sales process and contact outreach. Allows for more accurate forecasting and cadence tracking.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to review all emails sent to and from the client. The fact that team members can assign tasks, write notes, and share templates are phenomenal.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email bounce system to too sensitive, and I had members who did not know our emails were pushed into their spam file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling tasks to the team member best suited for the job has been outstanding. Some team members are better at phone calls, and other shine in their emails. We direct our follow-ups based on the client's contact preference and location.
HubSpot does everything I need it to.
What do you like best about the product?
In a fast-paced, small start-up, HubSpot can deliver all the functionality needed for a fully-fledged marketing team but with accessible touchpoints for a small group that does not have the time or resources for a complicated setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think every piece of software has some form of limitations, and with HubSpot, I believe it is with the UX of the design templates for landing pages and emails. These need traditional designers when I have worked with other platforms that offer more straightforward drag and drop templates that are easy to add branding too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With HubSpot, we needed an all-in-one piece of software that integrates seamlessly with our Sales CRM, customer success CRM, reporting, and analytics software.
HubSpot has been my favorite CRM I've used.

I dislike how the creation of forms is a little junky and separate from landing pages.

Sometimes Hubspot has problems when tracking social media ADs.
Building a report needs to be more powerful and easy to see because to compare month to month, I need to use excel.

Information that Hubspot provides us is excellent for marketing attribution reports creation. As mentioned, you can track all your activities' performance, and It is straightforward to see how much revenue you are impacting.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about HubSpot is how easy it is to use, all the email marketing campaigns, marketing automation, workflows, creating landing pages is very simple and straightforward. I would say no technical knowledge is needed to use Hubspot and in the HubSpot academy, you pretty much find everything for you to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say only one thing which I didn't like about Hubspot is it gets expensive as you want to unlock other features for small businesses specifically. If the pricing was a bit under for 20000 contacts would be perfect
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted a platform where we can build our personalised landing pages, create email marketing campaigns, track and monitor the campaigns, create workflows for our lead nurturing and demand generation campaigns, design emails and use chatbot. Hubspot has been a wonderful platform for us especially their lead scoring model where you can implement the rankings for all the leads you get. This platform has helped us a lot and made our campaigns generate more than 2000 visitors to be ranked as MQL or SQL's.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is intuitive for the most part. It's easy to create new campaigns and tag content to determine attribution later. It's very easy to schedule new social media and blog posts. The reporting functionality is robust as well as the CRM and Service Hub components. The content on the HubSpot knowledge base is extremely helpful when it comes to learning best practices and technical knowledge. Testing within the email tool is intuitive and provides great insight on actions that improve performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to WordPress in terms of a CMS, it leaves some features to be desired. For example, it is not a straightforward process to create landing pages with new templates. Rather than being able to edit a template write within the landing page inline editor, it's a convoluted process of using advanced options to open a separate design manager. From there it's a guessing game to figure out which modules correspond to what content on the page. This is an area of the product that could be greatly improved from a user perspective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use HubSpot for CRM, email communications, blog, and landing page hosting and publishing, reporting, attribution tracking, etc. Having mostly everything all in one place is a major benefit. Attribution modeling is much simpler that way. HubSpot's customer support is also unmatched. It's so incredibly easy to get help either via chat, email, or phone. That alone saves our team a lot of time compared to competitors. Our marketing team uses HubSpot as the "single source of truth" and used Google Analytics as a supplement when necessary.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend working with your CSM to create a strategy for organizing marketing campaigns from the start. The reporting functionality is great however it can get messy if your information isn't tagged organized from the start. I would also say that this is the best all-in-one marketing platform on the market right now.
