Customer Data All In One Place
What do you like best about the product?
After being integrated with Hubspot, we can track the source of contacts and efficiently nurture them to become customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The flexibility of the landing page module and theme is minimal and less friendly than other drag and drop landing page builders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to track the conversation of all landing pages, send automation nurturing email, one glance dashboard to track results.
Good for leads and campaigns
What do you like best about the product?
As a web developer, it is very handy for me to be able to make page and email templates that the rest of our Deman Gen team can use.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a web developer, I find it a little difficult to code and use the CMS. It is not as flexible and easy to manipulate as I would like it to be
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to track and manage leads effectively.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The CMS is not the greatest. It's very easy to integrate with WordPress or custom-built sites.
HubSpot is a one-stop shop for your digital marketing needs
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of HubSpot is having all aspects of digital marketing (email, social, ads, analytics) all under one software provider and platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had to sacrifice the control of analytics by not being able to customize Google Analytics to our specifications exactly--I have had to pick HubSpot's way of tracking to keep all analytics within HubSpot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am consolidating several separate systems into one platform that is easy to use, even for non-technical users.
Effective email marketing + CRM with in-depth analytics
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part is having my email marketing platform and CRM as an all-in-one. After that, the ability to review analytics for my campaigns is crucial to my marketing strategy and that of my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sheer number of ways you can setup your sales funnel and marketing-sales connection is a little overwhelming at first. There are lots of ways to customize, which is great for platform sales but could be hard for those who are trying to onboard themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to see at a glance how much money I have on the table AND which of my prospects are actively engaging in my email campaigns. Tracking emails is so important for knowing when to followup.
Easy to use interface - top notch customer service.
What do you like best about the product?
0-minute wait times! One ring and someone was on the other end, ready to walk me through the answers to my questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. For someone that has little coding/dev experience. This platform has been a life-saver.

I wish there were more assignments beyond quizzes to help me become an expert

I used hubspot to become a better marketer for my job, and it has taught me a few good skills to utilize.
Extremely helpful in automating and tracking our marketing efforts
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to link various assets to campaigns helps us gauge the success of the entire campaign, not just individual pieces of a campaign.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I would like to see improved is the flexibility with templates for Landing Pages and blog pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating our customer journey - we are able to really visualize and report on which clients are interacting with which marketing material/communication. It has given us a much clearer insight into what our clients or prospects are interested in receiving.
Great marketing tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love Hubspot Academy! I was a beginner blogger when I started and grew my viewership by over 2000% using advice from your videos. I also love how user-friendly everything is.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish when I added links, it would default to opening in a new window.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are keeping all info in one place, able to make updates to content quick and easy.
Great Page Builder and Email Marketing Tools
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how I can quickly use the default landing page templates. They look great, styles carry across all pages, and the drag and drop editor rivals similar page building systems on the market. I appreciate how dynamic modules like forms and CTAs are easy to integrate into designs and have their own metric tracking properties. The email tracking is also hot-spotted, which lets me know which links folks are using most when I send out campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
When building pages, I wish I could save and replicate sections or components of pages I build – or I wish I could easily save my own page templates. When I first started, I found it difficult to understand how to move contacts into subscription types and lists – and why both were needed. There's definitely a learning curve when getting started with the system. I also find the available elements in the default page templates to be oddly restricting at times. The button element, for example, can only be left-justified. If I need a centered button, I have to use a CTA, which has be building CTAs for things I don't need CTAs for – just so I can have centered buttons in some places.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In particular, we've been easily able to create free drip-email courses using pre-written emails and the Workflows feature to time-release emails based on when a contact signs up, and then deliver subsequent messages on Mondays. Workflows has a lot of parameters to sift through in order to fully understand its capabilities. I find that I mostly use the same few parameters and try to keep them simple.
A One for All tool!
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of the tool is it's strength. The way every capability is set up with all relevant detailed help documents and all-time support inbox makes it a comprehensive experience when it comes to using the tool. Also, Hubspot is the goal standard of CRMs when it comes to the depth of the capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's costly for a small or a relatively new organization that is still solidifying it's foot in the market. With the expansive capabilities I believe everyone should be able to use a platform like this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to use automation and workflows with ease. It is simple and easy to use. Also storing contacts and importing them via lead gen software is easy.
