Hubspot marketing is great, their social media tool - not so much
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot for marketingis a very powerful tool which allows you to create custom properties and design a CRM and/or CMS which is highly suitable to your needs. Through HubSpot workflows users are able to create powerful email marketing campaign which allows detailed customed journeys based on consumer interactions. By integrating your advertising you will be able to accurately track your leads, and by integrating Facebook lead generation ads you can smoothly transition your leads into your sale pipeline and look back at their survey responses.
What do you dislike about the product?
While HubSpot's marketing hub is a powerful tool, their social media tool is incredibly disapointing. It won't allow for scheduled posts on stories, gives somewhat arbitrary suggested posting times and provides lack luster reporting dashboards.
To improve the social tool, it would be necessary to provide more indepth and detailed social media analytics. The social media accounts are already connected, so integrating the already existing data points from the native platforms would be a bonus because it would allow for more detailed and in-depth reporting. Furthermore, it would be beneficial if HubSpot included a more powerful option to improve and customise the social reporting dashboards. At the current state, the extremly limited and predetermined data sets are often not what i am looking for, and it won't tell me one of the basic data points in social media - when are people interacting with my content? While "campaigns" exists in HubSpot, categorising social media content and being able to visulise which category is performing best would be desirable.

Overall, would never reccommend hubspot social for anyone working in social media, but would suggest that the team invests in a dedicated CMS.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the Marketing Hub to schedule social media to collect data points on engagement, and automate our social media posts. We feed our external ads through an integration to capture our leads, we use the email tool to send staff emails/newsletters. We use the workflow tool to customise email campaigns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
HubSpot can very quickly become a complicated system if you do not set it up accurately from the start. Do not over complicate it for yourself, and start out with the basics before you go too deep.
Loving it so far
What do you like best about the product?
Tracking all email is an epic feature, also love social posting feature and the templates. And love the meeting function, again saves heaps of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor glitches like being able to tag companies in LinkedIn posts but not people.
And the price is hectic for a bootstrapped startup once the first year discount expires.
I find the contact cells are a bit too expansive but I understand why.

Time, efficiency, lead capture from website, automation of comms workflows.

Definitely do it. If you can afford it, it's an excellent tool.
Great way to keep your marketing organized! Utilizing all the different tools and shortcuts
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to track emails and measure data. Including comparing data between emails sent at different times, no matter how far apart they may have been sent. The ability to turn emails quickly into reports is a great feature that otherwise would have required several programs/softwares and hubspot really saves us a lot of time!
I also really enjoy that Hubspot is constantly improving their systems and always updating products with new features. As well as accommodating challenges that users are facing and working to implement them across the board to make the overall user experience better. The help/customer service that they offer is always very informative and they'll actually work with you to ensure that you're being efficient and fully understand the capabilities of the Marketing hub!

What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to share emails with non-hubspot users if you need external or team review and feedback. There is a very specific path that we are able to use that allows us to send links to a third party email sender, (part of our marketing includes sending emails through another platform to users on the specific program) or colleagues that are not in the hubspot system - so it's not to say that it is impossible, but it is a very delivate process that does not allow for much flexibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to upsell our products to clients. With the marketing hub, you're able to see if the emails attributed to any sales - so it's an easier way to see if your emails were impactful or not. You can use a lot of what Hubspot recommends to better sell, as well as better personalize user journeys and customize workflows so your clients are receiving the most accurate and informative pieces to move them along their specific sales funnel.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great way to organize a lot of various marketing elements and house them all in one place. Rather than having to continually log in and out of different platforms, you can do all of your marketing right from the Hubspot platform. It's a great way to not only stay organized, but also integrate your marketing strategies cross-platforms and keep messaging in line with one another to not confuse your clients on offers, messaging, or general information on your company!
Great for Marketing Automation!
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is (1) intuitive, (2) easy to use, and (3) really efficient. As an ops professional, I spend most of my time inside of HubSpot, particularly within the workflow automation tools. It's so easy to setup and integrate with our CRM and additional applications. We've been able to rely on HubSpot to help scale our automation processes as our business grows. There's also a great support team behind the platform. As a relatively new user, I'm still learning, and the support team is great at resolving issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm really eager to see how the reporting tool grows over time!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving automation, efficiency, scalability, data hygiene, and reporting. HubSpot integrates perfectly with our CRM and two platforms speak to each other so well. We've been able to fill a lot of reporting gaps and see where gaps might still exist.
Loving almost everything Hubspot Marketing
What do you like best about the product?
We're actively creating new workflow almost every day and HubSpot continues to provide us more and more features. We run our webinars, sales funnel, book fulfilment, data integrity checks, almost everything we need. It's far superior to our previous CRM. We can even push updates to our team on Slack so everyone is immediately alerted and we can make the most efficient use of our time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Branding is an issue. We have issues with segregating the separate brands but HubSpot has been very responsive and continually develop the product so we're expecting it will be resolved soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot is a continually evolving product. Almost weekly we notice new implemented features and we can continually enhance our offering to our customers. We love the integration with Slack and multiple other apps that assist us to make the most efficient use of time. We love HubSpot.
Great learning resources and content
What do you like best about the product?
You can do a lot in Hubspot, from emails and landing pages, to social and overall reporting. It can serve as the core of all your marketing operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since there are so many tools, there is a steep learning curve. It can take a lot of work to set up properly. If something with your data is just a little off, your reports will look like nonsense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a marketer, I find Hubspot's marketing tools are amazing for managing our incoming leads, reaching out to them, getting them the most relevant content for their needs, and making sure they get the right calls-to-action.

Inability to rearrange form dependencies and the fact that you can't easily view form submissions resulting from CTA clicks

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have a sound onboarding procedure where landing pages, workflows and contact properties are all mapped out. This will make it much easier to layer automation on top of your business processes.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that marketing efforts are tracked through contacts, deals, and companies - you can see all activity from any one of these places.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to get a notification right away if I try to send a marketing email to a non-marketing contact, along with an option to switch them to a marketing contact without having to exit, change their status, and then resend. As it is, the only way to tell is to watch the delivery time and try to notice when an email hasn't been delivered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping all of a company's historical work with us together, even if the company's personnel change over time.

What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot is great for scheduling out social media posts, emails,blogs, and ads. It easy to work on everything right in hubspot. Hubspot also has great tracking tools so you can see how your marketing and materials are doing. Its also nice to have everything in one place and hubspot is easy to navigate. Its very helpful being able to clone past marketing materials so you can easily update it or to reuse the format. Being able to edit and keep saved recipient lists saves a lot of time. Its great to be able to have different lists of recipient to be able to send certain things to some people and not to other. I really like that when I am scheduling a post hubspot will show what other dates there is also something scheduled so you don't schedule something at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful thing about hubspot is being able to edit or crop photos. Sometimes I'll be working on an ad or post and the photo is too big, I have to go to a separate app to edit the photo instead of being able to fix it in hubspot. There is a lot of different assessments of date on hubspot. I think the date would be helpful, but for some of it I don't know what it means. Some of the analytics need of explanation of what they mean. Sometimes I need to go back and search for past facebook and instagram posts. Hubspot doesn't have the ability to search for certain posts. If I want to search for an AD I can, but not posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hubspot helps track how the different marketing techniques I use are doing. This allows me to change around my techniques if they aren't doing well. Hubspot also is useful to watch how many marketing materials that we are sending out. It could be useful for hubspot to have its own calendar that we could keep track of information on there. Recently hubspot has updated their website and now we are able to create ads directly in hubspot whereas before it was through facebook. This update has been very helpful. Hubspot has made the process of creating an ad very simple with the main pieces of information organized well. Being able to create ads directly in hubspot has saved a lot of time and frustration.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend that someone considering using HubSpot check it out first to make sure this is what they are looking for and what they need. Try out the free trial that HubSpot offers and check out all of the analytics that they provide. I would recommend hubspot to everyone using social media or someone who is trying to upgrade their social media game!
Everything you need in one place.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is both the reporting side of things in the marketing hub and the simplicity of everything I need to create effective marketing strategies in the one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside is that everything needs to be done in HubSpot to get reporting. I wish that if we posted organically or create lives, stories, or what not directly on our socials Hubspot could track this and monitor it so we could get the reports as close to accurate as we can
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are multiple problems being solved with Hubspot Marketing. Before we used to post for the sake of posting and didn't really understand. Now we have campaigns linked to posts liked to SEO and we are seeing what works and what does and this is allowing our social presence to grow rapidly.
