Perfect for everything marketing
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to learn and understand how to use the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some capabilities that are not available yet. But they do have a system where you can ask to implement ideas. The most popular ones get implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to use automation to send emails and notifications to leads without having to constantly monitor it. The drag and drop system makes it easy to design emails, landing pages, and social posts. The Campaign system helps keep everything that needs to be kept together, together. It also helps with reporting for specific items as needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Out of all of the marketing hubs available, I believe this the best one. It is extremely easy to learn and their programs make you feel like a pro in a matter of weeks. Since there are different payment plans, you can decide which pieces of the system that you want to use and which ones you don't.
It does the job - but it'll cost ya
What do you like best about the product?
User interface is friendly. If you get everybody on board with entering information, the reporting can act as an FTE. Workflows are pretty user-friendly as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Feels like they nickel and dime you. My sales partner cant see certain activity on my instance and vice versa. Regardless of our separate logins, the visibility should be easily shared.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manual tasks. Automation.
Instead of sending weekly emails to keep new prospects engaged, Workflows can send targeted emails based on a variety of factors including behavior.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Whiteboard your workflow and sequence ideas before building in in Hubspot.
Will Sales and Marketing use Hubspot, or will sales use SFDC? If the latter, full integration is critical.
Will Sales and Marketing use Hubspot, or will sales use SFDC? If the latter, full integration is critical.
A lot more functionality/cost than I've ever needed
What do you like best about the product?
It does all the basics really well and has more integrations than just about anyone else.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hubspot is a really heavy tool that has far more functionality than I need and is fairly cumbersome to use. The price tag is eye-watering and I much prefer to use a combination of other specialty tools that get the job done more easily and at far lower cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot really required having someone who can manage it full time, which is something I simply don't have budget for. When combined with the cost of the tool itself, it just doesn't make sense for me.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do you really need a tool this robust?
Hands-down best Mkt automation software
What do you like best about the product?
I've used other marketing automation softwares, such as marketing cloud - HubSpot is hands down better. Marketing Cloud is a combination of acquisition technologies unintutiively put together whereas out of the box HubSpot truly allows nurture and meaningful automation to be done
What do you dislike about the product?
It's file replacement is quite poor, often not correctly publsihing new documents - this can be annoying then to have to create new pdf links to insert as the replacement is not working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Segmenting users correctly and nurturing leads before qualifying them to go to Sales Cloud so that true sales enablement can be done for the Sales reps
Great software for collaborative teams
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot Marketing Hub now has the most complete set of features for any marketing platform of its kind. The recent additions like ABM tools make HubSpot a great starting point for any marketing team, and you don't need as many other technologies to plug into it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The SEO tools could be more advanced and useful. I would never use HubSpot's tools in replacement of SEMrush.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Implementing advanced workflows, automations and lead scoring has allowed us to find new efficiencies in how we nurture leads.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the huge array of learnings available via HubSpot Academy and HubSpot Community to access all potential benefits
Good System but costs escalate when you add features
What do you like best about the product?
ease of writing blogs, forms and landing pages and ability to do social posts for future and included in campaign analytics
What do you dislike about the product?
costs for marketing contacts when you are already on the sales contracts - cannot add the two together and keep same level of fees if a long time customer
also cannot have more than one blog author
also cannot have more than one blog author
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
blogs and form capture of possible contacts for leads
Recommendations to others considering the product:
look at all the options before you decide on which path or service suits you - especially if you are a small company
Good tool for Marketing information and automation
What do you like best about the product?
They offer a wide array of tools, whitepapers, prompts, and suggestions for marketers to use on their own. There's a network of knowledgeable staff to help with your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be too much. They send a lot of emails, which can bog down your inbox. They also solicit you through phone calls a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's really helpful to have their whitepapers and prompts. Sometimes you just get stuck writing and designing. Their documents can be really helpful to get past that writer's block, and find the direction you want to go in.

OK for B2B, less useful for Ecommerce
What do you like best about the product?
Many nice features for list creation, email, landing page, blogging, and some types of workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Email editor pales in comparison to the features of other email platforms and is difficult to customize.
- The reporting is not intuitive and requires training.
- It took 15 hours of work to make an abandoned cart email work with our Shopify site.
- The platform feels awkward when creating a simple triggered workflow or email based on when a contact purchases a product (involving two workflows and creating more properties - we're passing 400 properties at this point with no end in sight). Product purchase-triggered workflows are commonplace, and HubSpot fails in this area.
- The Shopify integration is difficult to use and misses "SKU" as one of the integrated properties.
- Costly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to introduce customer segmenting, improve reporting, and introduce sophisticated workflows and nurture programs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are a smaller company, forget about this platform. It is labour-intensive!
Great for marketers
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot is a great one stop shop for marketers. The user interface is intuitive and easy to figure out. Their support documentation is awesome and the community of hubspot users is strong
What do you dislike about the product?
Data management and marketing operations functions are not nearly as powerful as competing tools like marketo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email marketing, sales stage management, etc.
Lifesaver for our business
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use interface that gives you the insights you need, quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes if I have an idea of something I want to do, I may have to search the community board to find the answer on how to accomplish it. But, HubSpot can't make everything for everyone so I don't even really consider this a downside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting our entire funnel. Before, it was kind of a guessing game what marketing activities drove sales, but with HubSpot Marketing, we're able to get full visibility and really attribute properly. It's really changed the way we evaluate all of our activities, beyond marketing, too.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's truly great. I can't recommend it enough.
