Hubspot review by CS leader
What do you like best about the product?
Working with workflows to automate our marketing and sales operations comes in very handy. High customisation capabilities of all properties makes work very organised.
What do you dislike about the product?
Email template editor can use some improvements with the UI. I find it somewhat limited or complicated (if you're not very familiar with Java) at times when creating emails for mobile readers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating the marketing and sales operation is the key use case.
An Intuitive Platform So You Can Jump Right In
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot has a very intuitive, clear interface and navigation system. Depending on what your role is, the features you need are spelled out for you. This makes it easy to survive on trial and error without too much wasted time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Part of the appeal of Hubspot is that it has so many capabilities. You can successfully run your site, CRM, content, social programming all from the same place. But if you're only using it for one or two of those features, it can be overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Website management, primarily. It's so easy to update that we can react in real time and be agile with our strategy. We have several different stakeholders contributing to updates and all of us feel comfortable on the platform.
A marketing automation power-house, a more than decent CRM and ever-improving customer support tool
What do you like best about the product?
The automation features of Hubspot are phenomenal. We are heavy users of the Workflows feature, which we use for both automatic data cleaning and updating, as well as running fully automated marketing campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
The design tools of Hubspot could definitely be better. Although Hubspot has done a great job at improving their design tools, they still do not provide us with the features we need to enable all marketing employees to easily create marketing emails or landing pages (while keeping the template landscape manageable).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generating leads, nurturing leads, scoring leads, automatically selecting leads to be pursued by sales, managing the sales pipeline, customer support tickets.
The most powerful Marketing Automation Platform
What do you like best about the product?
- Customer Support is just amazing: pro , reactive, and not afraid to work on their side to find a solution to your issue.
- The way they are developing very quickly some new features to help us to be more productive

What do you dislike about the product?
Actually the way they did their tracking on picture and also for the CTA (sometimes it's very blurry)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Enhance our Marketing Automation Strategy
- Improve the lead acquisition strategy
- Monitor our campaigns

What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brand awareness
Recommendations to others considering the product:
the best option
User-friendly software that I use on the daily
What do you like best about the product?
Overseeable and easily navigated software that covers most functions needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Templates and Design Manager are hard to use and non-intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating campaign pages, blog and emailing. The overall trackability and analytics are a great source of information.
Start running quick and personalized digital marketing campaigns.
What do you like best about the product?
I just like the simple and realistic flow that has been used to carry an idea to a live website. I mean, it's too quick to manage the design, display it in various platforms and sensitive sizes, then make a prototype and send it to your application team and eventually take it to live in less than a second. That flow helps our team minimize time-to-market a lot, and this is helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that HubSpot’s Landing Page Creator is not as effective as they say to be for people without website development expertise. If you're a web designer with experience in HTML & CSS, you'll enjoy it, but if you don't have that expertise, you'll be limited to what you can do with your landing page creator. HubSpot says it's a drag-and-drop creator, but that's not exactly the case. We decided to stop using the HubSpot Landing Page Creator and moved to Unbounce for this purpose, and it is much simpler.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall, my experience with HubSpot is great. I use it on a routine basis and find it very beneficial to my job. I'm using it for marketing formation, campaign management, bulk emails to clients and potential targets, email monitoring, google analytics, open rate, press level, which is a fantastic feature and efficient. I appreciate the fact I can handle all the details and information that it holds and get reports and create dashboards that are simple and insightful.
Ads has great capabilities but could use some tweaks
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that you can have all of your ad data in one spot. It makes it really easy to see the performance of each ad platform individually or overall. I also appreciate the ability to click right into the list of the contacts that were created right from the ads section.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the main things that I don't like is that the LinkedIn campaign groups are seen as the campaign. This has made it hard to filter the way I'd like when looking at all platforms at the same time.
Another aspect I find frustrating is that when I am looking at the MQLs and opportunities generated if one of those contacts moves from MQL to opportunity it shows one less MQL. I want to be able to look back and see that MQL number actually grow rather than drop and have to manually figure out what it was by adding two columns together.
I also feel the attribution is lacking a bit. We all know that there are so many touch points before someone ends up converting so I'd like to see a true view of how many contacts interacted with my ads by either clicking through to the website or filling out a form. Digital ads can't just be measured on net new only, there is so much more going on.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to truly understand and see the entire customer journey and Marketing Hub is helping us to do so. From being able to connect our advertising platforms, to emails, landing pages, and hosting ebooks it has begun to give some good insights into our buyer's journey.
Blogging with HubSpot
What do you like best about the product?
I use the HubSpot Marketing Hub on a daily basis and especially the blogging tools. It's so easy to work within the platform, edit both before and after publishing, and design a great page that users want to stay on and read more from. The link tracking is also extremely helpful in understanding where our readers are coming from and more likely to click.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to bulk-edit social media posts instead of having to go into each one to make changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking, understanding engagement, top content
Great Tool, but lacking a few key features
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to see such a variety of analytics on how social media is growing (or not) and comparing it to specific time frames so I can pinpoint different strategies and switch up how I approach social media. It gives me the ability to try out a strategy for a certain time, then switch it up and figure out what is more effective at engaging our audience.
What do you dislike about the product?
First off, I can't post Instagram or Facebook stories, which is a huge gap in our social media strategy. While I can post them directly through the app, I don't get the same analytics or ability to engage with my audience through one place, and that a big negative. I also can't see most direct messages or respond to those messages because they don't even show up as a notification on on the "monitoring" page. I would also love to see more platforms added to the Marketing Hub without having to subscribe to a much higher price, like YouTube or Pinterest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to try out a social media strategy or design themes and then switch them up and compare the results of engagement, followers added, etc. This gives me a good idea about what works for engaging our audience, and what doesn't.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great and indepth analytics that give you all the information that you need to see where your audience is and how to best engage with them. Unfortunately it lacks all the tools required to properly engage with them after giving you said data.
