Easy-to-use, all-in-one platform

What do you like best about the product?
I love how much utility HubSpot offers! I really like email tracking and scheduling, list management, tasks for lead follow up, scheduling social media and all of the data to review.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only potential downside I could see is having too much utility for someone who only needs a little of the functionality. It has the potential to feel overwhelming depending on what kind of tool you're looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The CRM helps me keep track of all contacts, review past correspondence and schedule future tasks to make sure I stay on top of leads. I also like being able to schedule posts for all social media channels in one place and easily see which posts have performed best to help inform future content.

Excellent Value, Robust Features, and Intuitive Technology capable of handling most marketing needs.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use the most. Without coding or back-end support I can build out solutions that I need to make marketing efforts work. Training new marketers can be done in a few hours to have them creating emails and lists, or a few weeks to be building and using workflow automation.
Workflows are a powerful tool that can carry out a variety of tasks and are being improved upon regularly. Training is available but not fully required, as the Marketing Hub is intuitive and easy to master. The automation workflows are able to change and update properties, fix contact records, and run constantly in the background. It is easy to control contacts entering and exiting (and easy to fix the mistakes when they happen).
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a fan of the limitations set by Hubspot on lists and workflows. As with contacts, there should be options to add additional blocks of both for larger companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most recent problems solved with Marketing Hub was solution-based scoring models with score deprecation over time. the benefit of working out of a system that runs and updates by the minute lets us easily keep real-time scores and take action as contacts take actions. Other platforms update actions every 24 hours, so there are delays and the potential to miss something.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure that you have defined processes and naming for the different pieces within Hubspot, as it can quickly become impossible to manage with many people building competing workflows

Really easy to use, great automation, nice reports

What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot has great automation as part of their workflow tools. I'm able to change have details on company properties change automatically based on deal stages changing and so on. The dashboards and reports are all really nice and easy to use. In my organisation we use HubSpot for sales, marketing and customer success and the solutions work really well for all three.

As Head of Customer Success I like that I can use HubSpot as a customer success tool, including sending automatic reminds to CSMs when renewals are coming up, reviews are due and so on.

And finally I like that even when there are sometimes limitations or the product doesn't do exactly what you want it to do, there are usually fairly painless ways to resolve this. For example, I wanted a dashboard that would show me customer renewals due by quarter. While I can report by date, there's no way to group by quarter. I was able to resolve this easily by creating a custom property and having HubSpot automatically change the property to reflect the quarter. Easy to do and I got the exact report I needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Any minor dislikes are completely outweighted by the workflow automation which allows me to work around pretty much any issue I have in the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can now easily see when customers are due for renewal, remind my CSMs to start working with customers in advance and so on. I feel that HubSpot is really solving all my customer success needs right now.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take your time to define your sales, marketing and customer success process first - you can then define HubSpot settings around your process.

Using HubSpot for Social Media

  • October 15, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of the social media tools are very helpful. I schedule posts months in advance from six social media accounts on three platforms. Some posts are reoccurring and I am able to copy them.
The calendar view is most helpful for me so I can make sure that we are putting out content consistently. It's also nice to be able to drag posts from one day to another if needed.
The preview options for posts are very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as I can tell there isn't a search function for social posts, and when you are trying to find a post that came up six months ago this can be a real challenge. I would like to be able to hunt by keywords, because otherwise it's scrolling through page after page. If you don't know the date you posted something it can take forever to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to track how our social media posts are being viewed and if potential clients are clicking on lead generation items like forms to sign up for our webinars.
We use it to post almost of our social media posts.
We send marketing emails for our webinars.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be methodical in your use. Try A/B testing.

Creating ongoing communications that are relevant to subset customer groups.

A great and user-friendly marketing platform for SMBs

  • October 15, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love HubSpot's usability. It is incredibly user friendly and intuitive. HubSpot is robust enough to handle many of the marketing processes, automations, and features that are needed for most small to medium sized businesses and startups. HubSpot is deep so that even experts can continually learn new functionalities, yet it is also intuitive enough to for a beginner to learn with some grit and learning. The resources that HubSpot provides are also incredibly valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
HubSpot is not ideal for larger sized companies. You are going to be able to get a lot more out of say a Marketo or Pardot, and there are a lot more powerful CRMs out there, but HubSpot definitely has its place. There are times when you run into roadblocks with HubSpot's automation abilities or with its reporting, but overall there are a lot of useful and compelling use cases that deserve to be considered when thinking to buy HubSpot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do just about everything that's marketing related through HubSpot. Our website runs on HubSpot where we create our home page, product pages, landing pages, and blogs. HubSpot forms are some of the best and are used greatly by our team in order to capture leads and data. It integrates very smoothly with our PPC platforms and many other tools we use. It is at the center of all of our marketing functions. We also heavily use the Sales Meeting tool within HubSpot to allow individuals to schedule meetings with our sales team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're the right size of business that needs a powerful tool to help automate your business and you're a quick learner that likes to have ownership over your marketing operations, HubSpot is an awesome choice.

What do you like best about the product?
Visual tools empower to create marketing workflows easily without technical knowledge. We can also use Hubspot to trigger workflows or emails directly from our system via API.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hubspot is very quick to improve the aspects that I don't like as the service is constantly evolving. It has become a more and more flexible and powerful tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can send automated emails that are triggered by customers' actions. We can easily monitor which emails are effective and improve based on the reports.

A great tool for developers and publishers

What do you like best about the product?
The way of how i can build modules and implement functionalities to a site using hubspot, for me is a straightforward process that allow speed up the whole development for my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The drag and drop builder for pages is quite limited, i'll like to see for example be able to add classes to the sections and rows because sometimes get some effects or try to get a perfect responsiveness can be tricky to achieve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like from hubspot that i don't need to worry about the server in terms of storage and configuration, I like the simple process to set up a domain and get the site just working in a couple of steps, also the form builder is a great tool because i can use it inside another's cms with just a click and keep all the benefits like the data analytics in hubspot
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try to have a plan ready for deploy in Hubspot before you get it, this can help you to save time and costs.

Better Than Most, Still Some Room for Improvement

  • October 15, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Most of my work with HubSpot Marketing Hub involves the platform's Social Media Scheduling tools, so this review will largely speak to that aspect of the product.

HubSpot makes it easy to schedule multiple posts on a similar topic at once. For instance, if we're promoting an event, I can post on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook all at once from a single page. That's especially helpful when I'm scheduling 60-100 posts per month.

Scheduling is also very easy - plus, HS will let you know if you already have an item scheduled for that time or even on that day (and will let you know when that day) - which is helpful when we need to post on-the-fly without causing a disruption to our content schedule.

HubSpot is generally very good about getting things posted on time. If there's a problem, Hubspot lets me know so I can review.

Adding photos within Hubspot is easy, and I'm almost always happy with the results.

Analytics are excellent, and extremely helpful for tracking engagement planning future posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest disadvantage of HubSpot is not being able to edit posts after they've been published. In order to do that, I have to log on to the social site itself and edit from there. My only option within the platform is to delete and start over if anything needs attention.

My other main problem is with the link previewing. I share a number of articles, and very occasionally, the link preview shown on Hubspot either renders improperly or not at all. In these cases, Hubspot will either cut off the image or fail to display it. In those cases, I either have to find a new photo or share a different article. On the bright side, Hubspot almost always shows me within the platform that the link isn't displaying properly, which means I don't wind up with an embarassing, awkward looking post - but I wish the platform could address this issue more thoroughly.

Overall, the benefits of HubSpot for social scheduling far outweigh any of the negatives, and I would absolutely recommend it- especially if you're already using Hubspot's marketing hub in other ways.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot's Marketing Hub makes it possible to schedule posts far in advance + faster than with products I've used in the past.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend using HubSpot for social media management if your organization is already using Hubspot in other capacities.

Easy to use once you know where everything is

  • October 15, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's super straightforward and all the tools are right in front of you. I appreciate that there is a central files page so that I can upload all my images and PDFs. Creating new CTAs is super easy and intuitive. I also really like that we can access the CSS files and templates to change what we need to suit our tastes. I was concerned whether or not I was able to do it, but the ease of HubSpot allowed me to make my changes even though I'm a newbie.
What do you dislike about the product?
Accessing the design files is difficult to locate, as well as locating where to change the footer and header designs. Creating a workflow can be a little hard to understand exactly what it does, so I'm not confident in my decisions. Email automation options are a little hard to understand intuitively as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analytics are the biggest problems. HubSpot Marketing Hub provides an easy-to-understand layout of my website analytics that is very useful in understanding what my marketing strategy is doing. We're also constantly creating new content for our website, so it feels nice that I don't feel lost in my many, many pages of content, because of how easy it is to sort and search.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to centralize a bunch of your marketing and sales processes into one location, HubSpot Marketing Hub is the spot for you! I appreciate the ease of the site to configure whatever I want!
