Very Comprehensive Product
What do you like best about the product?
I marketing hub professional for the workflows, and I'm liking it so far. It is a strong automation tool, which is cheap compared to its rivals. Also, it comes with lots of benefits of marketing hub professional. Ability to use Marketing Hub with free HubSpot CRM is the most valued feature for my institution. Also, it is integrable with all other softwares that we use.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Email editor is good, but there is no html block for custom edits.
- I really want to use landing pages for campaigns however editing there are limited options when editing the footer.
- For workflows, I believe Hubspot could've put an example one for buyer intent or cold outreaching.
- We don't use the adds and social media tool, they could be better.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use HubSpot in every aspect of our business, and it saves a lot of precious developer time. Our developers have more chance to focus on our product instead of marketing-related work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:

- Chat support is great but you can also find almost all answers in the community forums.

HubSpot has changed out world in marketing and customer service.
What do you like best about the product?
The convenience of scheduling marketing emails and social posts. Also, the reporting on customer service results.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you can't add a unique email attachment to the first email in a sequence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistency of scheduling emails and social posts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's so easy to use.
Try the workflow feature from Hubspot to be more efficient when communicating with your users
What do you like best about the product?
All the options available that workflows offer you. You can be much more efficient when communicating with your users, as you can automate how you interact with them based on their interactions with your campaign assets
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with Linkedin Ads is limited, not all options that you have available in the Linkedin portal to run your campaigns are present in Hubspot, so you still need to use the Linkedin platform to use some of that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When using workflows, you can define what the system should do after a certain interaction from the user. For example, if they fill in a form to receive a document, you can send the user an automatic email with that document. This is just a small example among so many other possibilities. This allows you to save time and makes that communication much more efficient.
Hubspot is Great for Higher Ed
What do you like best about the product?
I like having autonomy over our ads, I know what ads are running, how much we’ve spent and can track leads through the conversion funnel. There’s no mystery.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t anything I dislike about these tools, they’re easy to use and understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We weren’t able to track leads from ads in the past, and now we can do that by using the ad functionality combined with our Hubspot forms and landing pages.
Some Road Bumps, but Overall a Valuable Tool to Get Everything in One Place
What do you like best about the product?
Integration of all our data, emails, and ads across platforms and sales results into one tool, and have consistent UTM tracking on our efforts. We also use the ability to create simple dashboards for sales, marketing to check often - and to create one-time use reports to check on things as needed. Before Hubspot we were using several systems, like Google Analytics, Pardot, and Salesforce and we weren't effectively tracking things across the systems.
We use workflows for everything - they're simple to create and we are doing a better job following up on leads than ever before.
The landing page builder is also pretty solid - while you may run into some template limitations, overall we can achieve 80% of what we want in pretty quick turnaround.
I also really like the ability to save and organize our marketing assets. From files we frequently use to CTAs or other pieces we often include, like button designs or images, we're building a library of assets we can easily draw on to put together forms, landing pages and emails easily.

What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't a fault of Hubspot, and the tool is useful, but like any, only if everyone in the organization is committed to inputting high-quality data.
Handling 2 domains isn't as smooth as we hoped - we have the Enterprise package but frequently have to choose between our domains as to which one will be presented in things like 'unsubscribe' pages etc. where it seems like Hubspot was built for handling only one domain at a time. I sometimes think we would have been better with two separate accounts, but that is quite cost-prohibitive. We also find it pretty challenging to get good answers from support - we have contacted them on chat several times with questions about two domains or other issues, and they typically start by giving a very simplistic answer which we've already tried. So often when we ask for best practices or guidance we hear "it really depends, every user is different". We know that but a little more custom guidance would go a long way.

We have much greater insight into the ROI from our ads across platforms, not only by looking at the ad reports for Google, Facebook and LinkedIn in one place, but by following the leads from our ads down funnel to see how sales interacted with them, and which ones ultimately resulted in a deal. While we used to do this with conversions in Google Analytics, Hubspot gives us greater insight into sales activities for each type of lead and we're better able to assess the quality of leads by source. We're also better connected as a team. Previously each person was a bit of an expert on one area - ads vs. email vs. sales results, and now we all work in the same tools and see the same data, so it makes internal communication better. I know about every email that was sent out and can easily track their performance when I'm thinking about ad targetting.
Probably our biggest improvement is on follow up - we use workflows for everything, from responding immediately to form submissions to assign leads to sales, and even in our onboarding flow with our buyers, our communications are all more reliable and consistent and easy to set up, leave for a while and validate later.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hubspot is valuable if your organization is marketing-driven, and is relatively easy to use. But take the time up front to work out all of your touchpoints, and how you want to import contacts before beginning using it. The onboarding process is less technical than I was hoping so you need champions on the marketing and sales side to think through how you want the process to work.
Also, check your ad integrations carefully at first - while they work well, it's wise to check from time to time as there can be issues with password changes on LinkedIn etc. that will cause your ad connections to fail.

Hubspot is very robust
What do you like best about the product?
It can handle a lot different functions from website chat to email marketing, social post management, CRM capabilities all in one place. It makes it convenient to have one software to got to that can do all of that. It's relatively easy to set up and get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
It lacks some elements from a B2C perspective. For B2B it can really handle it all, but as an ESP for B2C ecommerce it doesn't natively have elements that other ESPs have built into the platform for things like email personalization and browse abandonment emails. We've had to resort to third parties to help us pass data or create some of those email elements for us since it isn't in their plaftform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's become our main contact point to reach customers which has helped us keep track of and manage customer queries and get information out to them in one place. We're able to reach out to customers and keep a record of their activity which wasn't easily done before
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool and can handle a lot. If you want to have all these features in one place it's definitely for you. If you're looking at it from only an ESP perspective in the B2C space it might not be the right direction due to some of its limits.
Really easy to use with excellent visibility of contacts
What do you like best about the product?
The visibility of contacts in Hubspot is excellent. It gives marketers the opportunity to really dig deep and learn a lot about their audience.
What do you dislike about the product?
As Hubspot is used across so many business, there is an element of standardising. That means smaller business don't have the customisation they might get with smaller platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a full view across all divisions and job roles to see everything that is going on makes communication and culture flow much better.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Having used a number of marketing automation software systems, I can say that Hubspot is as good as, if not better than many. I think there could be some improvement in the scheduling and entry requirements of workflows and emails.
Easy to use, customizable CMS and marketing platform
What do you like best about the product?
Once set up, Hubspot Marketing Hub is intuitive enough for all marketing team members to use. Building out global modules has helped our team immensely so we're essentially able to drag and drop to build new landing pages quickly. The HubDB functionality has also allowed us to essentially automate how we manage resource libraries on our site and spin up child pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like most CMSs, to do custom work it requires working with developers, and it's harder to find developers that are experienced in Hubspot coding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hubspot has allowed us to centralize many marketing activities for the corporate website, landing pages, blog, and email marketing.
Great for a small team
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to schedule my blogs, social media posts, and emails in the same spot! We use the social media scheduler daily, have weekly newsletter, and can easily add images and links into our blog posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the social media analytics are not matching with Twitter. I'd also like to see leads or contacts touched on social posts without the post needing to be in a campaign. The mobile app is lacking. I wish I could see my posts and change things from there. I never use the new drag and drop for emails because I cannot have images within text - that feature is a must and it looks so horrible to have a random large image on the bottom rather that within a paragraph. I hope they do not take away the template version because it is superior.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to track our social media activity to see what works and what doesn't. We also have a lot of gated content - which I create - and it is great to be able to see how is actually downloading it. When we send an email, who is clicking where? We can find out what parts of our data they're interested in- whether it's US or Canada data, market or consumer insights. It is very useful to be able to see all these different activities and then thin about how I would write out a social post to attract this type of consumer.

Give it a try!
HubSpot is an Invaluable Tool for Marketing
What do you like best about the product?
We love the easy to read reports, the large amounts of pertinent data, and the simple and effective interface. Tracking email, blog, and landing page effectiveness is easy for us using HubSpot's dashboard. The same case can be made for website and sale tracking.
We have a better handle on what content works and who is engaging with the content This drives what decisions we make with planning or marketing, and how to better engage our potential customers.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are few ways HubSpot could be improved. Finding certain data points isn't as easy as it should be. Some graphs and reports that should be clickable are not. Also, some important data is buried in the UI and take digging to find. Some specific details, like total contacts, are not available. Finally, UI issues add minor frustrations in day-to-day use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previous to using HubSpot, we used a cobbled together system that was inaccurate at best, but offered no insight in to the prospect's engagement. All our contacts and prospects are now in one ease-to-navigate place. We can see the complete lifecycle of a contact, engagement with our content and emails, and easily reengage them with future campaigns. Email campaigns are simple and the reporting is excellent. We are continually finding ways to use HubSpot and implement features we've never used before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is well worth the money! I recommend finding a good partner to help implement HubSpot Marketing Hub and make the transition especially if you have a large library of content and blogs already built.
