HubSpot Marketing is Useful for Organization
What do you like best about the product?
Cloning email and social posts makes it easy to tweak messages. Smart lists are great for targeting. Connecting social media accounts is extremely easy, pretty much just a click of a button, which is nice. Social has an option to create the same post across multiple platforms which is a big time saver. Hubspot holds onto all the pictures and gifs you use in your messages so you can easily search and use them for future messages.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to click every single page I want to post from, we have over 300 branch pages. Form building seems a bit messy at times, same thing with landing page building. You can't add an attachment on emails, instead you have to link to a document, there also doesn't seem to be a way to embed video into emails (or maybe I just don't know how).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Targeted marketing is much easier. Just getting into workflows, I know there is massive time savings benefits there. Social and email analytics are helpful. Time savings by handling all social platforms from one software. Landing pages with forms allow us to gather leads and know where they came from, then follow up - this one is a game changer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you are keeping your database clean from the start. I inherited an absolute mess and it has been very annoying to deal with the poor quality and inconsistency of data.

What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot is very user friendly but gives you a lot of capabilities. For our marketing purposes, it is an extremely useful tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the design elements of email and landing page templates are challenging to customize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating and structuring all marketing emails, managing marketing events including in-person and virtual.
Easy to use, intuitive, great for a lean marketing team
What do you like best about the product?
The email templates and landing pages are simple and intuitive to use. The drag and drop interface makes laying out page and email elements fast and by building out the templates in line with our brand guidelines, we can scale quickly and always adhere to our own internal brand guidelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of integration with all our internal systems - we're doing what we can with this however. Education - more regular, short tutorials on how to use feature functionality would be great. I know there is a lot more that I could do with Hubspot but I don't know or have visibility of what that is.
The number of templates we have available for the subscription level is low - I would like more options. Some case studies would be fantastic of how other marketers in my industry (software - marketing to retailers) are using Hubspot to achieve great things.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pushing out targetted marketing messages to segmented audiences at scale. We are tracking channel effectiveness and monitoring leads as they move through the buyers journey. The unique tracking links help us identify the most effective channels and report these findings amongst other metrics to senior leadership teams.
Digital transformation!
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot Marketing hub has helped improve efficiencies, reporting, and communication between multiple departments. We now have data to help us make better decisions! The ability to track a contact's activity on our website and have a wonderful visual to move them through the funnel with pipelines has helped us our sales people keep track of more leads and actually follow up with them!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much I dislike, but I'll say getting the whole company to adopt has been a challenge. It's difficult to teach the sales people how to use it as they already have processes they are used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we used a static excel sheet to track leads and now we have dynamic reports with extensive data that has decreased quarterly reporting time immensely. There are tons of benefits, so to name a few: helped us track progress and exceed our goals, the automation and website manager is a dream to use (compared to word press) , we have seen a significant increase in digital leads and ultimately- sales!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be patient and also spend the time in the software to discover, makes mistakes, ask for help, and use the resource center. It takes time for your sales time to create new habits with the software so you will have to give many reminders to get them to use it. Also praise them when they do it right, it can go a long way!
Communicate with your contacts like never before!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy HubSpot makes it to segment our contacts! We can now strategically talk to our contacts in a way that they'll best relate to and respond to based on their previous activities and interests. It's safe to say that HubSpot's segmenting and automation has been a complete game-changer for our organization!
What do you dislike about the product?
I love most aspects of HubSpot's landing page and email marketing features; however, it's frustrating that we cannot include videos in our HubSpot emails (I'm sure this is a bigger issue though than just being HubSpot's problem). I also wish that some of the landing page templates were more customizable and easier to edit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Through HubSpot, we are meeting our contacts online when there's currently been no other option. Due to COVID, our church has solely been an online church & HubSpot has been instrumental in providing us with ways to resource our website visitors and contacts with digital content. We've also been able to follow up with our contacts and nurture relationships in ways that we never could pre-HubSpot.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're wanting to take your email marketing and your lead generation to the next level, you definitely will want to consider HubSpot. The platform's ease of use and functionalities can transform a company or organization.
Much Needed Tool in Your Marketing Tool Kit
What do you like best about the product?
How many features has in their platform and how easy it is to integrate with our CMS.

Product features can be slow to add in and improve upon.

Fantastic marketing intelligence tool set
What do you like best about the product?
We have several different digital ad vendors. It's great that all of those different shops can collaborate and gain intelligence from each others efforts. But also being able to tie together our email campaigns, CRM and data into one tool set.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that is slightly cumbersome is that when viewing certain FB ad analytics, we can only select three accounts at a time. With around 160 locations / FB ad accounts, it would be nice to be able to view a broader cross-section.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously we were shooting in the dark with our digital ads. Now it feels like we have the right tools to make good decisions.
Extremely helpful and user friendly tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like all the automation action options. I can automate email follow up based on how they interacted with the email, I can automate form submission follow up, I can automate list creation and the list goes on. Hubspot takes all the manual work out of tracking leads and segmenting lists so its easy to manage high volumes of activity.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to manage multiple brands on one platform. We share a portal with our parent company so we have limitations with reporting, analytics and subscription types because you can't separate our data out from our parent company's. We had to create properties to keep all our contacts and emails separate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are automating follow ups to actions taken on our website and emails. Hubspot makes it easy to see lots of different interactions that recipients are taking with an email and it's easy to define automated next steps to follow up. We are also managing lead statuses automatically and its super easy to share them with my team. We also manage our contact lists and keep them updated by making them active lists making it easy to segment our lists.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and navigate. There is also a wide variety of articles and resources to help answer questions and teach out how to use the tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The templates available in the blogging tool do not allow for text changes, indents, additional photos, or spacing without breaking the templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to access information and tools for our customers to better understand us as a company and how our company can support them.
Easy to use, great with plug-ins
What do you like best about the product?
Integrations with GoToWebinar and Salesforce are great. It is simple to connect them and the reporting on results is robust and useful. Landing pages are easy to build and customize. I am in HubSpot every day so it's great for everyday use. There is a lot of valuable information in there, if you know where to find it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the formatting of landing pages gets messed up inexplicably, so it's annoying to go in and figure out why that is. I haven't built out reports to my liking yet. Sometimes it messes up my A/B email tests and sends out the loser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Driving leads and getting conversions from email campaigns into landing pages. It's easy to put together a holistic campaign using email, a landing page, and hopefully someday soon social media. (Working on that!) I am about a year into using HubSpot and I am learning more every day.
