User friendly, great support team
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Hubspot is their support team. If you have any questions they are there ready to help in an instant. You can also choose which level of access team members get which means you don't have to worry about people messing up what you had set as an admin.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not find any downsides to using Hubspot marketing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving generating blog posts to our websites, sending out marketing emails, managing marketing lists. It has been so easy to generate marking lists and manage them with Hubspot.

What do you like best about the product?
The customized reports makes it easy to track social, email, web and ROI in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you don’t have Salesforce as a CRM, don’t bother. The software is not easily adaptable and took us months to configure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales went up. The multiple automation and customized emails we were able to send took us to the next level.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are using Salesforce, do it. It’s worth the cost.
Comprehensive suite of all-in-one analytics...covers most basic needs
What do you like best about the product?
For a small to medium sized business, Hubspot offers a nice suite of marketing analytics cools that allow you to analyze your email performance, campaign performance, social metrics, PR mentions, etc. It's a nice package that gives you insight into most aspects of your marketing efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hubspot's metrics are fairly rigid and not too customizable. If you're looking to be able to slice and dice your data in dozens of ways, you'll need a more advanced platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, Hubspot is convenient from a budget standpoint, as I can oversee several efforts within one platform. It allows me to aggregate all users within my company and share metrics, reporting, and scheduled dashboards with them.
Clunky but affordable
What do you like best about the product?
The customer support is top-notch. Live chat is available within seconds most of the day and generally provides a solution to whatever question or issue I may have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrations with third-party apps are severely lacking, and there are major limitations within the platform as far as reporting and sales automation, e.g. moving through pipelines. There are times when you try to pull a report on a dataset and it will tell you that you CANT actually pull a specific field in reports. That seems like low hanging fruit to me. Also, there's no great way for a sales team to visualize a call cadence or separate calls made vs. emails sent. "Last contacted" contains both by default and you cannot change that setting.

I believe HubSpot will be the leader of the next generation of all Marketing tool.

The gold standard in customer service
What do you like best about the product?
By using a well-known and trustworthy program such as HubSpot, you are sure to be recognized later in life if you have experience using it. This is something that my supervisor is always reminding me of when I am working on the hotspot Academy I’m getting yet another certificate. I have to admit he’s right, I am seeing a lot of job postings asking for HubSpot certificates, and I can completely understand why so many companies decide to use this specific software over so many others out there because not only does it allow for simple content management, it also allows for great contact management, And there is almost no third-party vendor that doesn’t integrate with hot Spot which is by far my favorite part. Bonus points for their customer service which is beyond.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of a hotspot is not ass customizable or cannot be edited to my liking. For example when editing emails there’s only so much you can do in terms of customization, and the only solutions for this are too much work and take to long time. Also HubSpot does come with some difficult ways of doing things in terms of customer lists and updated contact information. I have yet to experience any huge headaches with it crashing but I do notice that around the time of an update Some parts of a hotspot is not ass customizable or cannot be edited to my liking. We use hotspot for our marketing team in house, we also use it for our customer relations management, and we have found that it is a great and holistic program for the entire company to work together and have a perfect workflow in terms of who does what. Assigning, jogging, or contacting someone else in the company is super easy and everything is always noted and you can go back and see what was done.

Here are some of my favorite aspects of using hubspot:
1) whether you are a professional marketer or just starting out doing your own marketing - you will find hubspot useful and engaging to use. If you are a marketing veteran you’ll find the powerful and important tools you need. If you are just starting out - you’ll be able to use most of its features without any additional help.
2) best.support.team. ever. I cannot say this enough. Hubspot’s customer service has never let me down and that’s pretty rare in today’s world.
3) they work with some of the biggest and best names in the industry so working with and using hubspot can be a great tool for advancing your career later. Hubspot also has their own academy where you can get certified for free and this can be a great leg up on your next job hunt.
4) their list of possible integrations is endless and you can take full advantage of the trust that is the hubspot brand when using.

There are some attributes to hubspot that doesn’t fill me with as much joy as the ones above.
- even if it is a pretty simple software to get started with for a beginner, it is still a complicated system that takes some time to get used to. Especially if you are using all features of hubspot in one and are used to using different programs for each.
- it is not only beginners that might find it hard to use. Thanks to hubspot’s constant drive to innovate (which is a good thing!) they’ll always Introduce new features and versions that you have to adjust to. For most this is not a problem, but I have had some team members who are not as comfortable with computers and software get frustrated when this happens.

First and foremost it solves the most important question one can have in today’s world: “how do I find a program that is all-inclusive, is inexpensive, and functions really well?”. The answer to that is hubspot (in case that was unclear). It’s low price combined with its experience and knowledge on how to create a practical and functional software is alpha & omega.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Number one thing I would recommend is to take advantage of the fact that there are so many hubspot users out there so if you run into a problem or have a question about upgrading and want an honest answer - you can ask around on forums, google, or watch YouTube videos that will guide you. With smaller or lesser known programs you won’t have the same pool of people to help you.

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to see the entire pipeline clearly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it doesn't provide an extreme amount of depth. So, if you are the type that really wants to dig into the numbers, this may not be the tool for you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to use it free for CRM. I like that it keeps track of interactions because I can forget. As a new business owner, I need all of the help I can get as I am a one person team. They were also able to help me create a professional email signature to lead others to my website.
HubSpot CRM Analytics Tool
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot houses all of you customers in a very organized fashion. Also logs all communication each sales rep has with each customer so you never have to wonder what communication has happened with each customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
HubSpot however is only as good as the people logging information. If a sales rep forgets to log info then HubSpot never sees it, or if a new customer is added with the incorrect credentials then it is incorrect in HubSpot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps to track deals and where each deal is in our sales process. We also use it for automatic marketing tools and emails by putting a certain group of customers in a workflow and sends different emails depending whether or not the customer responded to the first email.
HUBSPOT HELL! I SPENT A YEAR AND A HALF RESEARCHING BEFORE WE BOUGHT AND IT WAS ALL CRAP!!
What do you like best about the product?
It has a nice looking user interface, that is how they get you to switch to the product. It is easy to sell your boss IF YOU JUST LISTEN TO THEM TELLING YOU YES IT WILL DO THAT!
They claim to be able to do all kinds of things, and possibly so, IF YOU SPEND A FORTUNE ON ALL THE THINGS THEY SELL INCLUDING HUBSPOT SEQUENCES, AND HUSBPOT SALES, AND AND AND JUST GIVE THEM 1000S OF DOLLARS EACH MONTH AND IT WILL GET YOU A TON OF PROBLEMS!
The people who work there are about half of them are actually nice and want to help! THE OTHER HALF ARE NOT! They are either sexist who think you have to hire an outside company to move your contacts or they are telling you to do it wrong! and wasting 1000 hours of your time or like the one person who is changing positions at the end of the month and Lord only knows what I will do when that happens, her name is Amy and she is the saving grace of this company! The chat support is useless, they have never been able to answer a single question for me, even just where do I find this! They do have where someone will call you, but the calls I have gotten are from CHINA! And when I complained about the lack of IP addresses the lady calling me from CHINA explained it was to accommodate other countries!

What I am guessing is that the developers who are apparently out of their minds and have no idea how to do the job of making a CRM customized to people who actually DO WORK! THEY DO NOT HAVE IT SET UP TO PRINT LETTERS! YOU CANNOT JUST PRINT THE EMAILS BECAUSE YOU CANNOT TURN OFF THE HEADER AND FOOTER! THEY WON'T LET YOU !! YOU CANNOT PRINT LABELS EITHER!! YOU HAVE A CRM THAT HAS HUGE INABILITIES TO DO THE SIMPLEST OF THINGS!! PRINTING LETTERS AND LABELS SHOULD BE A GIVEN AND THEY LIED TO ME DURING THE DEMO AND SAID IT WOULD DO THAT!! I RESEARCHED THIS PRODUCT FOR A YEAR AND A HALF DOING DEMOS AND TALKING TO PEOPLE AND EVEN ATTENDED INBOUND CONFERENCE TO SEE IF THIS WAS A GOOD PRODUCT!! EVERY SINGLE DAY IS ANOTHER PROBLEM! YOU CAN'T PRINT LETTERS! REALLY A CRM THAT DOES NOT PRINT. SO YOU HAVE TO SPEND MORE MONEY TO PRINT LETTERS! You can't access IP Addresses of contacts that submitted forms, SO YOU CAN'T BLOCK PEOPLE in CLOUDFLARE OR IN WORDPRESS PLUGINS!!! You cannot drop people into workflows where they are at in the workflow process, so what was one workflow in other CRMs is now 30 workflows for you to build!
You cannot simply set up an internal form to trigger a workflow! You have to put it onto a web page (SO THEY EXPECT YOU TO BUILD A WEB PAGE FOR EVERY INTERNAL FORM YOU NEED!)!
You only get 5 TEMPLATES for emails! ONLY 5! FOR THE COST OF $800 a month!! you cannot move people to another step in a workflow by skipping something manually, NOPE you have to pull them out and then build a damn workflow that is where they are in it!
You can't do so much it is exhausting! EVEN THE THINGS THEY ADVERTISE WORK TOGETHER DON'T UNLESS YOU UPGRADE! Next you get to make the workflow that runs for two years and is all one workflow in other CRMS into 67 different workflows because it can't let you make one, no each step in the work flow in the previous CRM (that cost ONLY $200 per month!!!!), has to be made separately because you cannot chose a step to put the person into, you cannot move a person to different step in HubSpot either.
I am telling you this was supposed to take 3 months, it has been an entire year and it has been an absolute HELL!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH!! RUN!! AWAY!!!

It should have been simple, the hope was that I would be able to check for duplicates by phone number and make my life easier, but NO!!! NOT EASIER!! CANNOT MASS MERGE!! HAVE TO DO EVERY SINGLE ONE INDIVIDUALLY!! IT IS BAD TO TRY TO USE THIS! I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY! the product is just bad. I can check for duplicates by phone number but have to merge every single duplicate ONE BY ONE! NO MASS MERGE!!
Other cheaper products are better, they at least work like they are supposed to without having to hook up a thousand different other products (that each costs another fee for this and another fee for that) to make each thing work. HubSpot at least needs to realize how to make this user friendly for an administrator. I have never seen anything like this! EVER.
I have NEVER been so DISAPPOINTED and yet FELT SO TRAPPED WITH A PRODUCT IN MY LIFE. I put in so much work it is like I should have recognized they were never going to be okay and walked away when I was only 1000 hours into this! INSTEAD I HAVE DEDICATED A YEAR OF WORKING LATE AND WORKING WEEKENDS TRYING TO MAKE AN INCOMPLETE PRODUCT WORK BECAUSE THE SALES PEOPLE LIE TO YOU ABOUT WHAT IT WILL DO FOR WHAT PRICE!
THEY CAN'T PRINT LETTERS OR LABELS!! (WHAT THE HELL KIND OF CRM CAN'T PRINT???!!)
MAYBE IF YOU HAD NOTHING IN PLACE THIS WOULD BE GREAT! BUT IF YOU HAVE A SYSTEM YOU HAVE BUILT WITH OVER 100 CAMPAIGNS (Workflows) THEN DO NOT DO IT!! REALLY!! They told me I could have this up and running in less than 3 months, the people who got us to sign the contract said "oh given how much you built in other harder to set up systems this should be simple and you should finish in less than 3 weeks", but the average is 3 months! NO WAY THAT CAN BE TRUE! JUST NO WAY!! EVERY SIMPLE THING IS JUST WRONG, JUST WRONG!! I CANNOT WRAP MY MIND AROUND HOW NOTHING WORKS LIKE IT SHOULD!!!
Just simple things that should be just common sense, wanting to print a letter, nope spend 3 weeks finding your solution and it still does not work then go through customer service until you get the one person who has a clue and she helps you find a solution that does not cost you 100s per month, to just be able to print letters, and still lots and lots of things like TEMPLATES ARE LIMITED TO 5! WHY??? WE can't have simple templates because we are not spending an extra $800 per month on the SALES PRODUCT! WHY CAN'T THEY GIVE YOU 10 TEMPLATES? OTHER CRMs give you as many as you want!! Some give you a limit of 20 or 50, BUT 5?????? THIS IS JUST INSULTING!!
HUBSPOT IS A SCAM AND A RIP OFF AND IT SHOULD BE CRIMINAL TO DO THIS COMPANIES AND PEOPLE!! I HAVE NO IDEA HOW OTHER PEOPLE ARE NOT LOSING IT WITH THEM!! DO THEY JUST NOT UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS EXPENSIVE TO NOT DO ANYTHING CHEAPER SYSTEMS DO???? HONESTLY!!! AND THE COSTS ARE EXPONENTIALLY HIGHER THAN OTHER SYSTEMS!! EXPONENTIALLY!!
WE THOUGHT GETTING VIDYARD AND CONNECTING THAT IS GOING TO MAKE THIS WORK BETTER, BUT THAT HAS NOT PROVEN TO BE SO EITHER! WE ARE STILL SETTING UP THAT COMPONENT AND HAVE NO IDEA IF THAT IS GOING TO BE ANOTHER NIGHTMARE THAT WILL INFILTRATE OUR WORK LIVES FOR WEEKS OR MONTHS!! I HONESTLY THINK THIS SYSTEM IS THE BIGGEST SCAM AND THAT IF PEOPLE HAD LIVED THROUGH THE LAST YEAR OF EVERY SINGLE DAY NOTHING DOING WHAT I WAS POINT BLANK TOLD TO MY FACE IT WOULD DO THEY WOULD AGREE AND BE READY TO TELL THE WORLD ABOUT IT TOO!
PLEASE RECONSIDER IF YOU ARE ABOUT TO CHANGE CRM SYSTEMS! LOOK AT OTHERS ON THE MARKET! LOOK AT INFUSION SOFT! WHILE I GET IRRITATED WITH A LOT OF THE THINGS I CANNOT DO WITH THEM LIKE DUPLICATES BY PHONE NUMBER, I CANNOT IMAGINE THAT I WOULD HAVE LEFT THEM FOR THIS AND THE PRODUCT FROM THEM IS SO MUCH MORE ROBUST THAN HUBSPOT MARKETING AT 1/4TH THE COST!! 1/4TH THE COST!!
Other cheaper products are better, they at least work like they are supposed to without having to hook up a thousand different other products (that each costs another fee for this and another fee for that) to make each thing work. HubSpot at least needs to realize how to make this user friendly for an administrator. I have never seen anything like this! EVER.
I have NEVER been so DISAPPOINTED and yet FELT SO TRAPPED WITH A PRODUCT IN MY LIFE. I put in so much work it is like I should have recognized they were never going to be okay and walked away when I was only 1000 hours into this! INSTEAD I HAVE DEDICATED A YEAR OF WORKING LATE AND WORKING WEEKENDS TRYING TO MAKE AN INCOMPLETE PRODUCT WORK BECAUSE THE SALES PEOPLE LIE TO YOU ABOUT WHAT IT WILL DO FOR WHAT PRICE!
THEY CAN'T PRINT LETTERS OR LABELS!! (WHAT THE HELL KIND OF CRM CAN'T PRINT???!!)
MAYBE IF YOU HAD NOTHING IN PLACE THIS WOULD BE GREAT! BUT IF YOU HAVE A SYSTEM YOU HAVE BUILT WITH OVER 100 CAMPAIGNS (Workflows) THEN DO NOT DO IT!! REALLY!! They told me I could have this up and running in less than 3 months, the people who got us to sign the contract said "oh given how much you built in other harder to set up systems this should be simple and you should finish in less than 3 weeks", but the average is 3 months! NO WAY THAT CAN BE TRUE! JUST NO WAY!! EVERY SIMPLE THING IS JUST WRONG, JUST WRONG!! I CANNOT WRAP MY MIND AROUND HOW NOTHING WORKS LIKE IT SHOULD!!!
Just simple things that should be just common sense, wanting to print a letter, nope spend 3 weeks finding your solution and it still does not work then go through customer service until you get the one person who has a clue and she helps you find a solution that does not cost you 100s per month, to just be able to print letters, and still lots and lots of things like TEMPLATES ARE LIMITED TO 5! WHY??? WE can't have simple templates because we are not spending an extra $800 per month on the SALES PRODUCT! WHY CAN'T THEY GIVE YOU 10 TEMPLATES? OTHER CRMs give you as many as you want!! Some give you a limit of 20 or 50, BUT 5?????? THIS IS JUST INSULTING!!
HUBSPOT IS A SCAM AND A RIP OFF AND IT SHOULD BE CRIMINAL TO DO THIS COMPANIES AND PEOPLE!! I HAVE NO IDEA HOW OTHER PEOPLE ARE NOT LOSING IT WITH THEM!! DO THEY JUST NOT UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS EXPENSIVE TO NOT DO ANYTHING CHEAPER SYSTEMS DO???? HONESTLY!!! AND THE COSTS ARE EXPONENTIALLY HIGHER THAN OTHER SYSTEMS!! EXPONENTIALLY!!
WE THOUGHT GETTING VIDYARD AND CONNECTING THAT IS GOING TO MAKE THIS WORK BETTER, BUT THAT HAS NOT PROVEN TO BE SO EITHER! WE ARE STILL SETTING UP THAT COMPONENT AND HAVE NO IDEA IF THAT IS GOING TO BE ANOTHER NIGHTMARE THAT WILL INFILTRATE OUR WORK LIVES FOR WEEKS OR MONTHS!! I HONESTLY THINK THIS SYSTEM IS THE BIGGEST SCAM AND THAT IF PEOPLE HAD LIVED THROUGH THE LAST YEAR OF EVERY SINGLE DAY NOTHING DOING WHAT I WAS POINT BLANK TOLD TO MY FACE IT WOULD DO THEY WOULD AGREE AND BE READY TO TELL THE WORLD ABOUT IT TOO!
PLEASE RECONSIDER IF YOU ARE ABOUT TO CHANGE CRM SYSTEMS! LOOK AT OTHERS ON THE MARKET! LOOK AT INFUSION SOFT!
