Great Marketing & Sales Tool for Small to Mid-Size Businesses
What do you like best about the product?
I consider HubSpot the one-stop-shop for CRM, email marketing, website, forms, and automation. I have worked with HubSpot for the last 7 years and I have enjoyed how user-friendly it is and it's functionality. For the price and what they offer it is great for any small to mid-size business.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing HubSpot could enhance is their reporting. When it comes to the landing page and email metrics, I take those numbers with a grain of salt.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At my current job, we utilize HubSpot for our website, landing pages, b2b emails, lead gen forms, and workflows/automation. It's nice to have it all in one place.
A one-stop shop for Marketing and Sales needs.
What do you like best about the product?
Our team uses HubSpot primarily for marketing, with some sales tracking.
I work on the social media and content side, and I've used Hootsuite et al in previous companies.
At least for social media needs, HubSpot is excellent. I've been able to plan lengthy campaigns 6, 12, 18 months in advance to promote our evergreen content - filling up our channels and freeing up my time. Metrics are excellent, and I've used their reports for lengthy analyses and data-driven reports.
Landing page forms are also easy to use and fill out, as are email marketing tools. I've quickly put together mass mails in minutes using basic templates.
Being able to see where our contacts enter our marketing funnels is hugely advantageous for tracking the full customer journey lifecycle, and seeing where my role fits into it.

What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that the response interface under Social Media Monitoring was easier to use. Hootsuite wins on this one; it's easier to send reply tweets.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking and scaling long-term social media campaigns, and analyzing their results, has become infinitely easier. We're juggling multiple accounts as well, and with the month view, I'm able to very easily ensure that the right content is being generated and uploaded for the right channel.
Strong Automation toolset, key advantage of a fully unified platform
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is an enormous benefit to my workflow. As a Product Marketer, I need to understand the digital footprint of my audience and the impact of my content of their journey. HubSpot with the fully unified platform allows me to do this quickly, easily and adjust on the fly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even with the reporting add on, as a BI tool it can be a little limited. True 3-dimensional data analytics sometimes require exports to another tool. This in itself is not a huge issue, but it would be preferable to retain full end to end functionality on the platform. However, Dashboards are superb as a method of management reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By consolidating disparate data lakes we now have a single combined view of the customer and a unified commercial interest therein. We have a very strong unified view of customers, prospects and a powerful inbound mechanism to drive leads.
A great help for Digital Marketeer
What do you like best about the product?
With HubSpot I can do almost everything: website tracking, landing pages, mass mail campaigns, email automation, contact management. This what I use on a daily basis but the tool has far more features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is missing automated email dripping feature
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage all marketing campaigns in one place. Having Administrator access helps me to create lists and manage the contacts database. I build workflows that reduce the amount of manual work (my colleagues' and mine) also the landing pages, it took me some time to understand how they work but in the end, I am very happy being able to create them on my own instead of asking a 3rd party agency.

Very powerful and comprehensive software
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot has a very easy to use Dashboard that is easy to navigate and move between tools. It is easy on the eyes and not overwhelming at all. It was easy to get into and learn on the fly. The emails are easy to create, prepare and send, and it's nice to be able to manage all social channels from one place. Workflows and contact properties are easy to figure out and begin utilizing to set up all forms of marketing automation. The analytics tools also work well to help you attribute contact actions to conversions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features and tools are limited in functionality. You cannot segment data and contacts easily without some in depth contact maintenance strategy. You also can't exclude your own employees from the analytics when sending emails. Be aware that social media accounts will disconnect after a few months, which can be a pain. Using the email drag and drop builder is not recommended, we prefer to use the classic editor. It would also be nice to be able to connect more domains to the analytics tool for traffic monitoring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are in a constant state of improvement as a company. Utilizing Active lists and property tagging have helped to simplify list maintenance. Workflows have helped us significantly automate a number of areas, including form submissions, contact property updating and email nurturing campaigns. Running email, social, ads and analytics all from one platform has been a lifesaver as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a well rounded software that offers integration with a number of external functionality sources, go for HubSpot. The ability to manage a huge portion of your marketing strategies from one place is invaluable.

What do you like best about the product?
Super helpful CRM, very easy for me to automate and communicate with both leads and customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish that the small things that are wrong with HubSpot would be fixed. One thing is that I don't like that I have to check things off to edit them, I wish I could just click directly on the property that I want to change and have a drop down appear to edit it. It would be much easier. Also having group tours be a thing would CHANGE EVERYTHING! Not 5 staff meeting with 1 person, 1 staff meeting with 5 people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of getting people to come tour our space. Its really beneficial having the forms and workflows automate a lot of our processes. I really wish I utilized some features more, specifically deals, but for where we are now, it is a super helpful tool.

Please utilize the ideas page more, some of these edits cannot be that hard to implement.
I'm not a marketing person, but I like HubSpot!
What do you like best about the product?
I am not a Marketing person, nor have I ever worked in that Department, but our company needed someone to step up and learn HubSpot for our clients, and I did. It took just a few weeks and I swinging through the Software like an expert. I have only been using HubSpot for a year now, and I'm still learning new tricks about lists and exports. It really does have everything in a very clean layout. The customer support is awesome as well. I have thrown them a couple of questions that had them boggled as well, but they figured it out!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes finding those tricks and the right things to click on is a bit difficult. It does help to have a list expert around to teach someone how to do it. The Workflow or automation can be rather tedious linking and clicking on everything and putting in the delay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For myself, finding contacts who did or did not receive the email is a great benefit. You can see if it was delivered, opened, if they were removed from a list, everything.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take your time with it at first, after about a month, you will be clicking around it like an expert. Also, do not be afraid to reach to the customer support - they are so pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable.
Intuitive interface & great supoort
What do you like best about the product?
Well-designed easy-to-use marketing automation platform packed with great features which are constantly being updated. The workflows and smart lists make automation easy. There are so many properties you can use. I would also recommend setting up the properties that fit your business as some of the existing Hubspot ones don’t do the job. You can set up an unlimited number of properties or at least I haven't hit a limit yet :)
What do you dislike about the product?
Possibly too many features. I use about 50% of the system as not all are relevant to me. There's a lot to learn just to understand what is available and what will be most useful. Can get very complex the more segmentation and exclusion you use to make sure contacts get the right messaging and not too much which I suppose is the same for any marketing automation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Hubspot for marketing automation for lead gen, social media posting and customer communication. In addition to lead gen it has helped us with brand awareness and contact nurture. It provides an essential source of warmed up contacts for sales development and our sales teams. We are able to manage an extremely large database and have detailed records of each contact which can also be seen in our CRM.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Initial setup and integration can be challenging but worth persevering with as once set up it is easy to use and administer with great suport.
Hubspot is very useful to my company for its organizational capabilities.
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot allows my company to store vast amounts of data and information. I like the workflow automations and the way ticket pipelines work. I get tasked a lot as part of my job, and it keeps me organized on what I have to do. That task also stays with the ticket, so others will know if the task is done or not.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how ticket properties for the same company or contact do not transfer between tickets in different pipelines. It is difficult to add company properties and see the results I would like. I would prefer if answers from HubSpot forms could be attached to the company for easy access. I wish a notification would go out if a task was completed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work for the Customer Success team, so we are still fleshing out how to use Hubspot the way we would like. We wish to associate all information with the company instead of the contact, and it is not done that way in HubSpot. It's difficult to know what access certain users have. A simple checkbox from an admin can take permissions away for other users, and they would have no idea until it ruins their workflow.
Hubspot makes socials and emails easy to create and schedule
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I most like about Hubspot is being able to schedule my socials ahead of time and to do it all at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to do Instagram stories, gifs, polls on Twitter etc. These specific app features you have to do in the app/website itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to increase our social following, collect accurate data, and grow our overall customer base with its features.

HubSpot makes your life easier - if you are looking for a platform to start with, HubSpot is easy to learn and use and they have a great support staff.
