More than Marketing Automation
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about HubSpot is it's an all-inclusive place for digital marketing. From landing pages, blogs, emails, even down to the CTA being able to be tied into a campaign, you have everything covered and tracked.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't use it as our CRM because we're a Microsoft partner using Dynamics. So syncing marketing data to our sales CRM needs to go through a 3rd party. I haven't taken the time to set up specific reporting yet because our data gets sent to our CRM and is out of HubSpot's hands at that point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More than just a tool, HubSpot is a knowledge base for the inbound methodology. Even if you don't use HubSpot, you will find yourself utilizing best practices based in the HubSpot method. So why make it difficult to translate those concepts to another automation tool? Just use HubSpot. Their knowledge base is part of our Sales training now.

What do you like best about the product?
Love the close loop method of being able to tie Sales and Marketing together.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the email templates are a little tricky to figure out where everything is to change it. Even changing a simple logo or color can take a few steps to do it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The sales process and how the follow up emails can be automated so they aren't forgotten about.

What do you like best about the product?
I worked at another company prior to my current role and enjoyed using HubSpot so much that I convinced my current company to start using HubSpot! I truly believe in the product and the capabilities a marketer has access to once using HubSpot. I like that everything we need is housed under the same roof and we don't need multiple tools to get the job done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there aren't many times when I dislike anything about HubSpot. I can't imagine using another software. We went through the whole process to compare other tools but ultimately HubSpot was the best for us and really on the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email automation, list segmentation, form creation, social media scheduling, and more! It is great to have all of these marketing solutions under one software to be able to watch a customer's journey when interacting with us. I also love the analytics for the website and social media tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think it is easy to see once you start comparing other solutions that HubSpot is the best. I tried to not be biased since I had previously used HubSpot before and looked at other products but at the end of the day, HubSpot was still the best choice. The price for the value of tools you have access too is unlike any other. I also like how responsive support is whether by phone, chat, or email. We still have monthly calls with our on-boarding representative to help keep us on track which is also very helpful.

Sometimes the simplicity becomes a limiter within the platform.
Granular reporting is difficult so you have to use an outside tool like Google Analytics for deeper analysis.
Which should be obvious, but for some reason the HubSpot team will try to convince you that their reporting is all you need.

Easily identify valuable contact record behavior to market via segments easier and close new business.
Hubspot helps bring our startup to the next level
What do you like best about the product?
Email automation using workflows on the marketing side and sequences on the sales side has been amazing in helping us nurture prospective customers, answer their FAQs, share our USPs during their customer journey, taking a lot of workload off the shoulders of our sales team.
I love the reporting dashboards, especially the funnel reporting and new attribution reports!

What do you dislike about the product?
There are little tech issues like how manual it is to delete duplicate contacts, that add unnecessary time to my plate. And I wish we could archive old leads, old forms, old content in a better way so nothing accidentally gets sent with old branding or to old contacts or something. Hubspot claims to be supportive in GDPR and CASL legislation but I feel like to be truly supportive would be to help us identify and smart-list the contacts who are too OLD to legally be contacted again without a renewed opt-in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just the segmentation of types of customers and steps for how we treat those customers differently by sales and marketing efforts has made our marketing so much smarter and more personalized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just be ready to put a lot of work into to get the most out of it! To do it right it takes time, and you WANT to make sure it's set up properly or face messes later on.
Powerful marketing automation tool, easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot makes creating and tracking marketing campaigns easy. The software is extremely intuitive, and if you do get stuck a quick visit to the community or Hubspot Academy will usually clear things up. Hubspot support is super friendly, too! I appreciate the certifications courses available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to set up 'parent/child' campaigns, the 5-email limit in sequences are two items on my wish list. I dislike that I don't have more time to learn more about the software, too. :-) I know there is much more I can learn to continue to grow our business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media management is now a breeze; analytics are easy to locate, and setting up workflows for email campaigns has never been easier. Tweaking things and doing a/b testing has been really fun and interesting. Our website is built in Hubspot, and editing pages, adding landing pages and monitoring visits is easy for very experienced users or newbies.

What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot is very user friendly. They have truly made the platform as user friendly as possible. The training on Hubspot Academy is great, but everything is very intuitive and straight forward. Everything from emailing, to building reports, to posting social, and beyond, Hubspot makes it easy to do my job as a marketer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hubspot pushes feature updates randomly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hubspot makes it easy for us to streamline all of our marketing initiatives. Tracking campaign, emails, social, website, sales emails, and more are all easy to see and report on. Now that Hubspot has some our with attribution reporting, we can really see the fruits of our effort.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see analytics generated by each platform and the ability to create campaigns easily. This is a great option for our members since they pay for social media posts and blasts so being able to give them the analytics for their campaign is really valuable for our organization and creating that relationship.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of Instagram Story Scheduling and Instagram tagging option not available. The tagging option as stated below is the biggest issue, it takes a long time to tag accounts which takes up a lot of time in the long run. Sometimes you can't even tag accounts until after its published.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to create different messages for different platforms depending on the audience. Automation is really helpful for emails and social media, we can schedule everything and not worry about it, the design function for emails is also really good, we have increased our email subscribers by a few hundred over the last month just from being able to target emails to specific people.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The social media function is not as user friendly as it could be, if I was only using Hubspot for social media I would be disappointed. It takes quite awhile to tag people on each platform and sometimes it still doesn't work. This is a big problem since I need to tag out members in each post. It takes up a lot of time trying to get the tagging right.
This is my biggest complaint. For those looking at HubSpot marketing I would suggest learning email marketing and how to create lists so that you can reach different people for different reasons, also learn how to use social media, create different captions for each platform and have a general idea of how each platform works so you can create posts more easily.
Lastly, use the education portion of HubSpot, HubSpot academy to learn how to use the platform better, and get the most of out it. I never did this and I regret it, it took much longer for me to understand how to use all of the features and had I done it earlier I could have implemented different tactics earlier. More set recommendations would be good as well.

Great software for marketing automation and CRM
What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive to use. Easy to add new content, send marketing emails and landing pages, create workflows, etc. HubSpot consultants were very helpful in getting up to speed with marketing automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hubspot has some features that a company our size (125 people) can't use effectively. We are growing into using more features though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can track our sales efforts through the HubSpot CRM. We are hosting part of our website using HubSpot. We can optimize our marketing materials using A/B testing easily. We can track the customer journey through emails, webpages, blog posts, etc.
From all of these efforts, we can easily generate reports for management that show the ROI on various marketing initiatives. All of this in one easy to use platform

If you are looking for a strong Marketing Automation platform, Hubspot excels in lead capturing and continued marketing campaigns. The advantages of having the full service CRM, Hubspot connects marketing, sales, and onboarding. If you use a different CRM such as Salesforce, Hubspot offers a great integration to utilize marketing automation tools.
