What do you like best about the product?

I like how Designcenter NX allows me to be independent and help others. I enjoy the tools that allow my team to get the work done together as a group. It helps me develop products with no errors and faults.

Designcenter NX helps me develop products with no errors and no faults.

What do you like best about the product?

I think it's great that Designcenter NX is an integrated software. Everything is combined in one solution, and I have no issues with interfaces to other software systems. Additionally, all downstream processes can be derived from a master model, which is really practical: If something is changed on the master model, the subsequent processes are adjusted accordingly.

Especially in the CAM area, I can program all types of machines and technologies – milling, turning, and additive. Through the NX Open API, I can also develop my own tools to standardize and automate processes. The semi-annual main releases also regularly provide new and improved functions.

The price is relatively high, but when you compare it with other products where you would have to buy CAD/CAM/simulation separately, it puts it into perspective, and the price is understandable to me.

Siemens is working very hard on the integration of AI. The implemented copilot is a great help and has very specific NX knowledge. This way, you quickly get summarized support and approaches to problem-solving.

What do you dislike about the product?

Partially, the performance for computationally intensive functions could be improved. Many functions only compute on a single processor core, and I think computation via the GPU would be very advantageous. It is not very intuitive; as a beginner, you definitely need support from experts and plenty of training.

Designcenter NX is an integrated software that allows me to work with just one system.

It feels very seamless with the new Designcenter X NX, and it also integrates with Capital and Teamcenter.

What do you dislike about the product?

Most of the complaints from my users have been around performance of NX.

It helps our user base build boating products more quickly and efficiently.

The Ui interface is a great interface. Connection with simcenter is a plus

Our customers is nx, so that is the reason we are using nx

Designcenter NX is the go forward CAD tool for defense programs.

Currently, there isn't any dislikes using Designcenter NX.

The ability to be model based and move away from drawing based or the old way of doing business.

What do you like best about the product?

The wide range of features, along with how easy it is to integrate with the Teamcenter ecosystem.

What do you dislike about the product?

Unfortunately, NX doesn’t have strong backward compatibility with Teamcenter, especially when it comes to integration. If your Teamcenter version is behind what NX supports, you often end up having to write custom scripts to make things work.

Intricate design requirements when the final product needs to work in thousands of feet below earth with limited communication bandwidth.

Selection intent is amazing for ease of use.

I wish surfacing had more options to nail down definition.

What do you dislike about the product?

The found relations are frustrating. I understand when creating a profile or just placing down lines and arcs that they can be created and that is helpful but if I am asking the software to make 2 lines parallel I should not have to turn on persistent relations as that is not "Found" I am creating that and it should take higher priority

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Creating 3d models from 2d drawings for customer.

What do you like best about the product?

The interface is very user-friendly. I came from another CAD system and it was very easy to adapt to. The built in help tools can be very good.

What do you dislike about the product?

It should be possible to create law curves in sketcher. I also think that some of the surfacing tools could be a little more accurate and consistent. Sometimes the help tools are not consistent. I prefer if they take me to an external page that gives me in-depth documentation, rather than videos.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's made it easy to model, and allows us to collaborate with other Siemen's customers.

Powerful solution, integrated across the software ecosystem

Learning curve is there, but documentation is very good
