When working with multiple CAD systems in an organization, it becomes a bit difficult.

Very stable for large assemblies modeling

The toolbars and menu bars are not easy to use

NX review
What do you like best about the product?
I love the synchronous modeling, sketching, and drafting. I've been an NX driver for 20+ years and am a little biased. NX feels like home to me. It makes sense. It's easy to use and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the new selection features make it harder to get information. The less clicks, the better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's our design package for product, manufacturing, and support design.
A great way to quickly design and iterate a system
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ray traced studios a lot. The assembly system is very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes strange things happen with patterning features. Difficult to integrate with pdm.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the problem of jointing a system together and easily visualizing it. Much easier to fix my design when I can see the issues with it interacting with other parts of my design.
Powerful CAD software
What do you like best about the product?
The feature set is very complete. It handles large projects well, and has lots of tools to complete anything I’ve needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Installing a version of NX is challenging, especially as a student using it for a project team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps my rocketry team design our entire vehicle and ensure subsystems integrate.
With the proper training, NX is a powerful tool for model manipulation.

Quickly make changes to the CAD models and integration with Teamcenter.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve to understand the navigation can be overwhelming for non-designeres.

I use NX to make small changes to models.

The ribbon and interface of the tool is easy to use and intuitive.

Not all features are immediately discoverable and easy to find.

NX is allowing us to design parts easily and saved back to team center for vaulting.
