high presicion, excellent scalability and excess features

price used to be to high to get in place or in sales

JT format was native and we could exchange data from CATIA easily with out much of hassle

Hard to integrate and hard to manage configurations and standards for a large dispersed engineering team

Slow, does not make use of multithreaded CPU’s. Bugs in basic items still being found.

NX supports parametric, direct and modeling enabling designers to create complex geometries with precision.
Great Tool to support the daily design requirements

Easy and understandable way to create the needed design.

It took so long to create a co-edit functionality, but finally it is there.

Good API's in order to store and save the design data in the ERP system.

The capabilities and power of the tool. Support for NX is also excellent.

Not a big fan of the new sketcher, but it is able to be configured to work based on our processes.

NX CAD allow me to teach students the fundamentals for design for change though through the use of various features and modeling best practices.
