NX has increased our capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
We have been able to increase our design capabilities by bringing in NX.
What do you dislike about the product?
NX allows you to do so much that it can be difficult to grasp all the concepts quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to increase our design/product capabilities more with NX than what we've been able to do with other software.

I like how powerful the tool is. So many features that integrate seamlessly into Teamcenter.

I am newer to CAD so the immense amount of feature are overwhelming.

Change management and BOM management

What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of capabilities in the CAD.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's clunky compared to other systems. I don't like all of the unnecessary mouse movements, multiple clicks and lack of shortcuts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it in the shop for everything from design concepts to production versions of products.
Not the best tool for the job but a good tool for some things

connection to TeamCenter to track and open data. Easy to get into and access

It's less user friendly then other software and not as good as creating surfaces.

We use NX to create our final datasets we hand off to engineering. Makes it easy to pass data between creative design and engineering.
NX CAD a better CAD application

Usability of the CAD. It was my 1st CAD to use and its the best from the CAD softwares I know

1. The connection with FEA: The performance predictor looks a great solution so the user doesn't have to create all the additional files in Pre/Post and it is great but still too simple and with the design space explorer it's not possible yet to consider more than one analysis at the time
