Its a geat expanding platform that has the ability to control large assembly designs
What do you like best about the product?
There is tons of training you can do to expand your knowledge

it can have shortcuts that change from year to year and can become more involved to do the same process

Its helping me create designs for the customer in a timely driven matter and solve there issues

Multiple options for completing a tasks.

Knowing how to use the more advance commands

Im able to quickly design new designs
Tightly integrated with Teamcenter and integartion is faster when compared with SWIM and IPEM

NX Checkmate is the best feature for quality designs

Advanced assembly features and its licensing

Design the rocket cad model
Nx is very robust, but not always the most user friendly

The design capabilities with the intergration of Material properties has been helpful.

Using it or knowing the hidden features is not as intuitive or user friendly as other Cad software I have used. (solid works)

I can design very large, complex assemblies and use TC to manage the data

What do you like best about the product?
NX is one of the best software packages you can use for solid modeling, surfacing, or any of your CAD needs. With additional partners to have an end to end software solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
The weakest part of NX is their drafting package, which isn't bad but there are easier options, such as their cheaper sibling software, Solid Edge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating complex aerospace surfaces and NX has been awesome for helping create these complex shapes.
Very functional with lots of add on options
What do you like best about the product?
NX Cad has a very similar interface as other 3d softwares making it easy to transition from one to another
What do you dislike about the product?
some of the features are less intuitive for a first time user coming from other softwares like solidworks
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been a good tool to design aircraft parts and parts that have complex surfaces that other programs like solidworks would struggle to produce

NX is the most powerful design tool out there hands down.

The only negative is that there's more functionality than any one person can learn about.

Wide breadth of functionality. Relatively easy to access most common funcitonality

Online help is not well organized and difficult to navigate. Latest version of command finder does not show where the command is in the interface. The new sketcher is difficult to use

Numerous complex models. Check-Mate checking to verify best practices and standards. NX/Open to automate many NX functions
