Ease of use and integration into teamcenter

Sometimes it can take a while to load models.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using it to demo integrations within teamcenter.

NX from Siemens is best software for 3D modelling & automobile design
What do you like best about the product?
NX software is used to make 3Ddesign of Product & machine. It is supported with surface Modeling & mold design. It is very useful & time saving software. Its PLM centre isused to manage full organisation. It supports all 3D format
What do you dislike about the product?
Its cost can be made more competitive. Its support team should be more friendly. This product can improve its user interface & should increase its cloud storage space
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NX has helped us making complex 3D Design. It supports product DFM analysis. Its sheet metal & mold wizard are used very frequently. We can make 3D design & later do 2D drafting for manufacturing.
Most used for CAM Purpose
What do you like best about the product?
It has the best capabilities related to CAM. If you want to use the software in machine shop NX is the best you can get. It's very easy to create NC program in NX.
What do you dislike about the product?
NX does not have much options for large assemblies. It is difficult to design complicated assemblies in NX. it doesn't have much capabilities in drafting also as compared to other softwares.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it in our machine shop to create NC program for different machines. At first I do 3d modelling of the part. Then I chose tools and toolpath to be used to create NC program of part.
Powerful CAD system
What do you like best about the product?
Great tool set and parametric features. Easy to interlink parts to make easy changes across assemblies.
What do you dislike about the product?
Teamcenter is a separate purchase and there are no basic PDM capabilities built into NX.

Creating good designs across sites.

What do you like best about the product?
The siemens NX is a CAD software to create engineering designs according to specifications. The software is best to create part and assembly models in 2d and 3d. Also the software helps to do analysis of the created design and components. The designs created by the siemens NX can also be used for computer aided manufacturing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is not good. Hope they will improve it. No other issues were found.

The Siemens NX helps us in creating the 2d and 3d drawings of the part models and assemblies. We are also using the software for the analysis of the design to check for the errors.

What do you like best about the product?
You can design very complex things. NX CAD modules provide the possibility to manage 3D designs, assemblies & 2D drawings. The 2D part is estraigelementary to use. I can handle easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
More complex compositions take a long time to update in 2d mode. There are also minor bugs in the program. The support system is not the best.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I designed custom machines with Siemens NX . The biggest advantage is that you can plan practically everything with it. Many good features can be added to the basic program.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to design the most complex machine, NX is very useful.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Siemens NX, when compared to other design software that I had encountered, is that it is pretty easy to learn and very powerful at the same time. Using this software, I was able to create complex geometries with ease. It also has a pleasing interface that seems helpful, especially when you are working with features such as chamfering, extruding, etc.
Also, if you have to run multiple cases on a particular design by varying its geometrical parameters, you can do it with ease via NX.

What do you dislike about the product?
While creating geometry in NX, I used to specify the units that I was using in the very beginning. However, after exporting the geometry into different software for meshing, the unit changed, and now the dimensions are scaled up/down. Although, it didn't cause much of an issue but still was something that I disliked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To perform numerical simulations(CFD) on a particular component, I had to create its model and then mesh it. For making the model, I used Siemens NX, which was then exported to a different software for meshing.

What do you dislike about the product?
Overall liked the software. But sometimes the software gets crashes during work, which could be because of the high load. And sometimes, the imported Solid 3d Model shows in surfaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I began using Siemens NX in my first job, where I worked for four years designing various 3D Part models for clients and creating 2D technical Drawings that were utilized in the machining center. I also used the freelance work software.
