NX Siemens with Daimler AG spec. review
What do you like best about the product?
Adaptive User Interface (UI) which tracks and learns user's actions. It predicts commands user will most likely want to see and use.
Search tab is also very helpful.
DAIMLER'S option Ftool for making holes gives much more different types of holes for user to choose.

What do you dislike about the product?
Making links could be much simpler.
Transparent "tree" would enable much more 3D space on the display.

Designing stamping tools for automotive.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
NX is a great CAD software and those who need a strong sheet metal design software should consider NX.

Efficient surface modelling
Easy working with Large assemblies
Not sketch based CAD software
What do you dislike about the product?
No option to easily create lids and grooves like Solid works
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Particularly Quick surface modelling is amazing
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Quick and efficient surface modelling, impressive, unprecedented quick syncronous modelling
most complete design programm
What do you like best about the product?
the most helpful are the extra plugins that NX has. Also with those plugins you deliver the project complete
What do you dislike about the product?
the first steps before you realize how those commands work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
benefits are the assembly part and the tests that you make like thermal tests
Recommendations to others considering the product:
check all diagnostics when you make a design.
Best CAD I ever used
What do you like best about the product?
In my 20y of job experience I use almast the most used cad (SW, SE, Creo and NX), all of them for a minimum period of about 3y.
I can say that, in my experience, NX is the best one, is extremely userfriendly, have advanced features (I used a Mach 3 ver.) and the huge capacity to transfer file perfectly described, closed and smooth is perfect to design aesthetic appliences.
I used Teamcenter PLM, even in this case I used many ones, and I can tell you that is quite complicated to use but give you a huge volume of information and really help all the product lifecycle.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only point that for me is not good is the price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Could realize complicated shapes for aesthetic parts that are quite impossible to realize with others softwers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For me is the best cad software
Perfect for Parametric Modeling
What do you like best about the product?
Unlike any other 3D modeling software, Siemens NX doesn't have
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain drafting issues need to be more streamlined and in sync with 3D model
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it for surfacing and rendering and have tried use it instead of keyshot but keyshot is way better
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is built for access to multiple users at the same time and for parametric design and modeling. One thing to note is the cost for one seat is way too high.
A Powerful CAD Software
What do you like best about the product?
NX nearly satisfies all the needs that I have. It's very handy for 3D design of complex systems and 2d drawings. I use NX very often in my work to make 3D models of stabilization platform. Also, to make mechanical production of my design I use either 2D drawings sheet or model-based definition features.
It is very easy to learn design in NX when you have some CAD software background. You can open a great variaty of file formats. I use NX with Teamcenter. I have to say that the harmony between these is a crucial point for my job. And it works fine most of the time.

What do you dislike about the product?
NX is also not a super fast CAD software just like the others. Bigger assemblies take a while to open. Sometimes matings may be hard to assign. Moreover, if you use it with Teamcenter you may have the patience of a saint. In model-based design, some deficiencies must be overcome too. Also, I work in a big institution but for small companies or students, its cost may be a bit expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use NX for all my design expects. I make 3d models, 2d drawings, model-based definition, and simple analysis. NX and Teamcenter solve most of my problem, since we have to use a PLM as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
NX might be a little hard to work for a beginner. After getting some experiences it may much manageable.
Choose a correct software- NX
What do you like best about the product?
It is best software for all kinds of modelling; surface modelling, solid modelling and sheet modelling . It is very easy to operate tools. Rendering option are best and their is no other challenger to the software in this aspect. We also do analysis and CAM operations. Anwers through analysis are very accurate to analytical values. We can also make a sequence video of assembly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Rendering options are best but it takes too much time for resolution static image.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for modelling of diffferent parts after initial portfolio preparations. Currently I am working on aerodesign.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hello this is best software available for you in market and you can open other existing software files also very easily in this software.
