Best CAD program on the market but high entry cost.
What do you like best about the product?
Advanced Surfacing is best in class for consumer products.
What do you dislike about the product?
High cost of entry prohibits small business from implementing NX.

Callaway Golf develops golf products in consumer product category. NX advnaced surfacing and best in class wire-frame-to-solid tools give Callaway an advantage over competitors.,

Drawing package still feels cumbersome to me.

I like that NX CAD has a lot of commands that can do just about anything that you need

The downside to NX CAD is that many college age students do not have access to the program and need to learn the program when taking on their first job

NX CAD is solving the problem of how to efficiently apply model based definition

The contextual driven engine seems more intuitive withing the basic modeling process

The boolean based engine seems dated in technology and common to most other apps. What is the next Gen Cad? More dressed up Boolean engine?

Ability to do things more than one way and still meet the needs of the design

I am using nearly 20 years from UNIX platform. Strong and more friendly
What do you like best about the product?
- Strong and Friendly. I can use multiple disciplines in one platform. So I don@t need to find other solutions at outsides. Using NX Cad is easy, and fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Freeze to much times.
- If I click stop session, NX doesn't stop quickly.
- Old measure tool is better than new one.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analyzing the mass properties for a big assembly. Normally in my old company, operators manually calculated all components. But after NX helped us to find the total weight correctly in one second.

NX is the best CAD software!
What do you like best about the product?
I like routing electrical, routing mechanical and radials capabilities. Also, the assembly sequence feature is really cool and has helped me to complete several tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Load times and that it does take a lot of CPU memory when working huge assemblies. I dislike the fractional license, I would like to test all features.
I would like that NX has more tolerance analysis capabilities out of the box.
I would like that assembly sequence module has a capability to do analysis considering design constraints for assemblies such that you can play and work with articulated parts to allow improved studies.
I would love to see improved capabilities for NX radials, I love this feature and has improved my design workflow but I haven-t seen any improvement for a while, example a larger radial capability.
