An CAD environment integrated with Teamcenter enabled traceability of design through the digital thread into part release and manufacture.
What do you dislike about the product?
At present, I am still yet to find a proved data migration solution to enable data migration from legacy CAD tools.

Advanced modelling capabilities.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the UI, how things are easily accessible and in 1 place but not too cluttered. I also like how intuitive the software is to use.

I think the integration with PLM can be difficult to use from an initial perspective

The long term vision of digital thread is what interests us the most

I think some menu options are bad for UI

Working with large assemblies is better

Facet bodies are perfect when we are opening large assemblies.

NX doesnt have enough smart feature. Sometimes SOLIDWORKS feature is better when you want to design

Our products designs are really huge. We have too much detailed part. So Large assemblies performance is pretty good and there are more than one approach for opening.

What do you like best about the product?
NX CAD is a very powerful tool for 3D modeling and product design. I liked how precise and detailed the modeling features are, and it supports a wide range of design needs—from basic parts to complex assemblies. It also integrates well with other Siemens tools, which helps streamline workflows across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be a bit overwhelming for beginners, and it takes time to get comfortable with all the features. Some commands aren’t as intuitive as you’d expect, so you really need some training to get the most out of it.

NX CAD helps streamline the entire product design process by providing accurate 3D modeling and fast design iteration. It reduces the time needed to move from concept to final product and makes it easier to collaborate with teams on large and complex assemblies. It’s also great for detecting design flaws early, which helps avoid costly rework.
