My NX experience.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about NX is how you can modify just about every detail it may have a bit of a learning curb because of it but it's very much worth it. It's a great product!
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike are the seemingly unnecessary changes that come with every new version. It seems i am constantly wondering why they took some out or updated it when it worked just fine before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage to get create my projects with ease switching from a model to a drawing in an instant makes it a smooth process and the integration of Teamcenter is great.
NX will enable to design for complaince
What do you like best about the product?
Enable to do desing for compliance during the product deign and take decisions so that elimate the problems later in the manufacturing process. This enables the sustanaitlity
What do you dislike about the product?
NX customization with matierla managment solutions where pulling the data from the GRANTA and too complex to bring and enchance the data. We need a simple integraiton
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complaince during the desing enginnering process. This enables the global complaince solutions and make the future carbon netzero free. Need a templatized solution for materila managemnt

What do you like best about the product?
NX is a very powerful tool that does not set a limit on what the student can model. NX is integrated with other tools such as CAE NAstran and NX CAM. Also, the ability to launch and use NX within Team Center supports concurrent engineering and enables the digital thread

Basically, There is nothing I dislike about this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are teaching our students how to create robust 3D models and capture the design intent. They are also supposed to use it as an integrated tool within the development process

What do you like best about the product?
Imagine the program where you can create everything from sunglasses to a space rocket, from a basic sketch to FEA and documentation. Now, you can relax, this software exists and has the name Siemens NX
What do you dislike about the product?
It will take time while all-new modules such as Technomatics or Machine configurator will be inside one single interface. Now, sometimes, you need to jump between these modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Parts creation, validation, and CNC-machining. There are a lot of examples, but the most valuable thing in NX is that everything that was created since Unographics (1996), you can open in NX2008 without any additional costly conversion.

The cost of maintenance for small companies that need to use NX as a customer requirement.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the constant improvements and additions of modules to assist in the process of progressive tool design.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the information available in the NX help which is sometimes too general.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are in the process of evaluating simulation software, which we hope will lead to faster design to production with less tool debug time.

Powerful CAD system, split into multiple modules.
What do you like best about the product?
The two aspects of NX that I like the best are the open API structure to allow customization to make the software a more specialized tool, and the overall power and additional modules to complete the most complex tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The aspect of NX that I like the least is how much different features in a given module can be seen but not utilized without further licenses. A lot of training and command finder features come up greyed out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are utilizing NX for our tooling and manufacturing fixture design. As well as automated equipment design, for robotic welding and machine tending applications. Powerful CAD tool to design equipment and allow PMI to complete manufacturing with minimum 2D prints.
NX is a cool CAD sofware tool
What do you like best about the product?
Synchronous modeling of imported models from other CAD tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The navigating around the model with a mouse. need to use a spaceball.

NX is a best of class software for design and analysis. The product needs to be able help users design with less failures.

Needs to be able to debug issues as an dmin easier.
