The first or the inital deployment is the most time consuming part and requires technical expertise, making it difficult for companies without specialized IT teams.

Licensing fees, infrastructure reqirements, ongoing maintanence costs makes it out of the box, option of small and medium businesses (SMBs).
3. Steep Learning Curve
The IBM Gaurdium hasn't got a very user friendly interface and it requires extensive training to understand and configure policies, reports, alerts and to make changes.
4. Performance Degradation
Continuous monitoring can lead to system performance degradation, when working with large datasets if not optimized properly
5. Limited NoSQL and Mordern Database Support
While it is a good option for SQL databases, it's support for NoSQL databases and unstructured data is very limited, making it hard to work with big data environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IBM Gaudium Data Protection is helping me solve problems such as Regulatory compliance challenges, Insider threats and unauthorized access, Data security in hybrid environments, Sensitive data discoveryand classification, Centralized monitoring and reporting.
