As part of our technical roadmap expansion in 2021, our tech team and management weighed two ecommerce platforms for cost, management, and stability.
Shopify was the easier alternative; however, the cost per year on percentage of sales became prohibitive. Magento's commerce platform was an attractive alternative; however, we wanted to have more flexibility, and also keep our annual costs at a minimum.
