Great when you are mentoring other teachers to give feed back.
What do you like best about the product?
I like watching the videos that my candidates submit and commenting while playing. Then I can go back and watch it as many times as I need to to get those positive comments in there. Then I can also review it with my candidate later if required.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did need a little tutorial to learn how to use it. It may not be user to friendly to some teachers who have never used it before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a good way to communicate with teachers online to watch their recorded/video lessons or zoom lessons and not have to meet face to face./
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Once you understand how it works, it is a great tool to use for coaching and not have to meet face to face.
Easily integrated tool. May be a little wonky to grade.
What do you like best about the product?
Integration in LMS is seamless. Students asked "0" questions about functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little clunky when moving from student to student, it requires a certain form of feedback before moving to the next student
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I addressed the lack of storage and a promising way to get student videos and submissions with Blackboard specifically.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This tool is simple and allows user interaction. I used it in a school setting, but it would be great for discussions and officer nominations.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of the website and the look of the website
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate how long it takes to upload a video and how the site times out sometimes.

I have been able to record my lesson observations without having to have my Supervisor present.
Useful for language classroom
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can stop at any point and add a comment at a specific time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet! So far it's been ideal for language teaching.

I enjoyed using GoReact to encourage my students to practice their pronunciation and give me the opportunity yo provide detailed feedback in ways I wasn't able to before.
Exactly What I Need
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can pause the video and add comments in video format or text format. It gives lots of options. I also like that you can direct record and upload, as sometimes I prefer to upload.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downside is that certain things aren't as intuitive. For example, as a ASL interpreting master's level student, sometimes the "category" feedback stuff seems like overkill.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SUPER easy in a COVID world to provide meaningful feedback and critique for interpreting assignments. Can even be used for RTAP and TAP strategies. It even has been helpful for live collaborative meetings.
Good Experience for Early Field Experience Students
What do you like best about the product?
I like the idea that I can confidentially review a student teaching, provide feedback and have them provide feedback too. We can communicate about what we are seeing.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had some difficulty when the students used GoReact to record on their computers. A thumbnail would come up, but the video would not play. After talking with the GoReact support this seemed like something they were aware of and were working on.

We are using one platform to review student lessons and both the instructor and student can watch the video.
GoReact saves time
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of GoReact is its ability to be integrated into Canvas. It's easy to create course assignments.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does take time to set up the rubrics and markers. However, this is time well spent to make sure the students understand the assignment expectations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GoReact allows the students and teachers/professors to leave feedback on instances that occur during the lesson. Both parties can leave feedback on the same video segment.
GoReact is perfect tool to get students to record an assignment & for me to provide feedback easily.
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to provide feedback right when it is needed (timemarker) in the video. I don't have to jot down times and go old school.
What do you dislike about the product?
The testing option. It is just not feasible for me when teaching ASL.

Feedback is easy with markers and the comment box. very convenient. My student have to pay for access and I hate adding more costs to them in college. I wish my school would get a license but I am not sure how GoReact would apply to other courses to substantiate a license.

What do you like best about the product?
You can watch students live or from a recorded session. It makes collaboration so much easier. You can tag observations and include end notes, both the observer and teacher candidate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything now! I discovered that if I start the observation before the candidate, they can see me on camera, but that can be a good thing too before they start the observation!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is an awewsome platform to virtually observe candidates during the pandemic. There is easiness with candidates once they use the platform several times. They don't fear being observed.
It is user friendly and provides opportunities for feedback from both peers and professors.

I find it helpful that I can review my videos before submitting them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be frustrating to figure out how to delete some of the videos that I don't want to post.

It helps us to connect as a team and see everyone's work before submission.
